I tried clean master, and moved es file explorer, after that I checked my sd card. There was no es filemanager apk or its data. I checked in internal memory it's still there
I don't know what it does. But in android 4.2 you can't move apps to sd

Did you deleted clean master. Before uninstalling you need to restore apps otherwise it won't work.

if you have not deleted clean master try restoring the apps back to phone storage
Use Link2SD ( Need Root )

You Can't move all apps to sd card. It is restricted by app developer
But You can move it using Link2SD App which allows those apps to be moved to SD card..
*Your device should be rooted to use Link2SD App
Download Link2SD from Play Store

please delete all hidden folders on the sd card (they start with ".foldername")
of course make backup before.
you might need to redownload some apps then.
This is caused if you had apps in a previous version moved to sd.
how do i delete them if they are hidden???
thank you
The file explorer on the rom shows them or use root explorer. Or in windows set show all files (google how to show hidden folder on windows)

I am still gettin the same message that i dont have enough space on sd.
Should i format my sdcard?
Sent from my U20i using XDA App
First i would suggest to deinstall the apps which are already on sd. Then format sd card (make sure to only have 1 partition).
Then download from market and reinstall the apps. Then move to sd.
This is how i managed it.
(you can goto settings, applications, application administration and click on the sd tab and deinstall apps)

I'll get a app isn't installed error when trying to run certain apps after swapping sd cards by unmounting and remounting them. Is there any way to prevent this so I don't have to restart my tablet?
Apps installed on SD card
Your problem is that the apps you are having trouble with are installed on the SD card. Only sure way to solve it is to go into Settings>Applications find the apps that you need and click on Move to Phone/Tablet
Still no luck
I tried it but while moving it shows the app doesn't exist

Hello,
If you like someone to help you, you must provide clear description of your problem - just precisely describe step by step what you did using understandable English.
For example what does it mean?:
"transferred my sd card" - what card (internal, external) what transfered? All data? or maybe you took out your external card and put to friends phone???
"put a zip" - what zip? containing what?
"my friends app don't work" - what app? etc etc
I think, noone yet answered you because the others are cofused as much as I am. So decribe it better + provide information on what rom/kernal you are, then we will see how to help.
Regards
I had a boot loop problem, cause I changed the boot logo. so I used my friends ext SD card to flash the stock boot logo. my friend had apps on the ext SD card and when he put his card back in his phone some apps mostly games were there but its icon was replaced with a gray icon that said 'SD' and when I launch it it says application not installed. wierd because when I go to manage applications it appears. and thx for the reply

Unfortunately I think that it concerns apps which were installed (moved) to external SD card and after removing SD card from the phone, data on the card could have been broken/corrupted, so that after putting the card back to the phone apps can't be recognized.
I'm not big optimist but you can try:
- move apps back from external sd to internal one (probably not possible)
- Back up the apps - if they are visible by eg. TitaniumBackup
- Unmount, mount again external sd card and reboot the phone
Regards
tried and didn't work. thx anyways m8

It's true, the files have become corrupt. All you can do is uninstall them, and re install.

I need a little help i have a problem with Link2SD. I assign 500 mb to ext2 partition, and i have all my apps in the sd card, playstore, facebook and 2 others are linked. Well my problem is that, i have a notification for less space in internal storage :/ when i trying to install some new games ( well i have like 5 games installed already on the sd)... So why i have just 19% free space in internal storage if i have all my apps in sd? PD : see the image and sorry my bad english

Link all apps. Don't move them to SD Card.

Im gonna try that . But i have another issue, why when i install apps automatically install on sd card, i remember in old version of link2sd, new apps are linking to sd and no install on sd. How i can activate that if is possible?

In Link2SD go to settings, Check Auto-Link.

Yeah that is activated at the first but for some reason didn't works, idk but now is working, thanks.
I've been having a similar problem to the OP. Am I right in thinking you move ALL applications to internal storage, even the ones that install to SD card by default and then link them?
I guess there's a problem with your rom or kernel. Who knows

But is this the way to do it? Make sure user apps are are on PHONE before linking?
I'm using LinkSD and it saves me a lot of space in /data.
The way it works :
When installed, an app has three or four parts : the .apk file, the .dex file (in a deodexed ROM), the data folder and, eventually, one or more .so in /data/data/app_folder/lib
- If the app is in internal storage, every parts of it are in /data : .apk in /data/app, .dex in /data/dalvik-cache, data folder and libs in /data/data/name_of_the_app folder
- When the application is moved to sd Card, the .apk file is moved in /mnt/asec/, but the .dex and the data folder remains in internal storage (some applications may also have data in SD Card)
- When the application is linked, the .app, the .dex and the .so files are moved to /data/sdext2 (which is the place where the 2nd partition of the SD Card is mounted), only the data folder (without libs) remains in /data/data (internal storage).
So, the best way to save place in internal storage is to link user applications (no need to move it to internal storage first, it also works when the application is in SD Card).
All my 50 user apps are linked, and I still have 85 Mb free in /data.
I have a D618 (4GB internal), and I noticed that there is a "Move to SD" option in the app manager, I tried it, but the app data is still in the internal memory.
And I heard that Kitkat devices have write issues with the SD card, and there is an app for fixing that, but I haven't tried it since my phone is not yet rooted.
Anyone here who has a rooted phone want to try?
Thanks
Move to SD only moves part of the apk file not app data.
It's not affected by the kitkat write issue.
My idea
Use GL to SD. For this you MUST HAVE ROOT. I root my G2 Mini just for it.

Thanks mate, worked for me
If you create a ext4 partition on your sdcard, there's multiple guides online for this. Then root your device and download link2sd, your able to move all apps, cache from apps and etc to the sdcard

Spoiler Alert!
Spoiler
Once my phone gets back from service, I will try to make a script which will mount /data/app/ and /data/dalvik-cache/ to a second partition on the SD.
