Update: 5 months use and it cracks for little reason other than poor construction
See current post
UPDATE: Now available for limited preorder at MIME - Thank you MIME and everyone who helped make this a reality!
UPDATE: mime has a glass protector "in development" according to their website, and an OP reports mime should have it ready next week (week of April 1st). I'll update again once it is available. Yea!
After getting the real glass screen protector for my wife's ipad air and the gumdrop bounce skin for it, I don't know if I would want to use any tablet without them. The real glass makes for the most amazing interaction with the device and the bounce skin I find perfect for a tablet, I don't need the extra plastic frame, just a thick silicone skin with oversized corner protection.
Does anyone know if there is a coming glass screen cover?
I can't locate any. I'm going to send an email to MIME to see if they have it scheduled. I agree, once you go glass, you can never go back to plastic protectors.
I also have a glass protector for my note 2 . Glass is so much nicer, waiting for some to be announced as well. I did buy a plastic protector in the meantime don't want to risk scratching the screen while I wait for the good stuff

Thank you for doing this Mike! I replied, and I hope others keep it up and request the glass, even if they are only thinking about it. If you ever try using glass, you will see why absolutely no plastic is comparable. It must be glass or it sucks. I personally wipe mine down frequently, I just have to have that mirror surface. We can debate about if it is better to use TMS-Cl to coat it (think rain-X for a car window, which is likely what the "oleophobic coating" is) [gotta love marketing guys] or just plain glass, but it must be glass. Nothing else will do, it does not matter if you are kinesthetic dominant or not in your learning style, glass is just better.
Hopefully we can get someone to make the glass protector.
Sent my request. I had no idea these existed, but I had a single grain of sand scratch my screen on my A700 and have felt shame for allowing that to happen ever since. Spending twice as much on this device, I'm going to protect every little bit of it.
I have probably tried at least 10 different types of screen protectors and NOTHING is better than real glass. I''ll take my chances until a real glass protector is released.
Thanks for pestering MIME. Hopefully they will make these for us.

Do you have this? Since it is plastic I don't trust it, I think it will scratch even though it give a hardness value that is pretty high. Too expensive for a plastic film for me. My GUESS is that it will also not "feel right" to me, plastic always has a wave to it. You need plate glass to get that perfectly smooth surface. Sometimes I've gotten away with using plexiglass (fiberglass plastic) for a flat surface (most notably building a dead flat magic sculpt rectangle that would not warp in high heat when I baked the model I was making), but still its tricky, glass is much much better to me. Also by saying it will get scratched, my glasses get scratched and they are made from similar material and even have the scratch resistant coating on them. My ski goggles get scratched, and those micro fine scratches build up fast. This is why I constantly demand glass for my touch sensitive devices. Heck my 3 year old thinkpad convertible tablet screen (non-glass) has micro scratches and marks on it and I only infrequently use it as a tablet (b/c it is not intuitive like the current tablets).
If you have it and it works really well, please let me know, but I just have a feeling that it is overpriced and will scratch.
I have that companies nano.t glass for my S4 because at the time it was the only thin glass I could find that would fit under the otterbox defender case (all other glass products were too thick). It is a nice product, but I got the TechPro glass for my wife's ipad at <1/3 their price and it is magic for the ipad air. I like that companies products, but I think they are priced a bit too high. They have great marketing, so good for them, but I'll go to someone cheaper if I can, its all glass underneath and I can apply my own TMS-Cl if I need to.
I told MIME in my request that I would buy all my future glass from them if they made this, and I will. Supporting companies that make good products is the only way to encourage them to keep going with making new good products.
For a tablet I feel like I would want the thicker glass, but I don't care, I just want a real glass protector for this tablet when I get the LTE version as soon as it comes out. I want a tablet I can read a scientific paper on at full size (or just about). Just like the comic book guys want to read comics at full size. I figure by supporting the development of this size tablet, the weight will come down rapidly in a generation or two, and the computing power will rise dramatically too.
I'll thank everyone who goes and requests the glass protector and then posts that they did it in this thread. Hopefully we will all get what we want, a glass screen protector. If you made it this far, thanks for reading!

Whenever I hear this, all I think is marketing. The key quote for me is this "to protect the screen of your Samsung Galaxy Note PRO 12.2 or Galaxy Tab PRO 12.2 from scratches" - I translate this as "protect the note pro screen", it does not say or mean 'provide a scratch free surface to write/interact with' which is what they WANT YOU TO THINK it means, but it is not. Plastic will scratch and gather up micro scratches on it and it will not be perfectly flat like glass so it will be less than ideal to work with. I agree with the statement someone made that I'm spending a lot of money on this, I'm willing to go a little bit more to get a quality glass screen protector. [I will also likely buy a cheap, cheap cheap plastic film until then.]
I think of it as writing on the surface like it was meant to be (the surface is glass) so covering it with glass duplicates it but if I scratch the glass protector, I can peel it off and replace it, unlike the original screen surface. Nothing will be perfect at protecting from damage, but a glass protector will be as perfect as it gets. It is also my guess that people who don't think glass is worth it, just have not tried it yet (that would be my highest %, with some other stragglers as 'don't care about a protector', 'don't have the money to get glass', 'don't understand why they need a protector' [not stupid people, but just aren't cynical/experiences enough to realize they will scratch stuff until it happens and then they don't like it and can't do anything about it], or finally 'insensitive to the glass/plastic differences or minimal interaction with device').
I'm going to write to MIME again and say that with the consumers that are willing to spend a premium chunk of money on this device, will likely be either willing to or demand to spend a premium chunk of money on the ideal screen protector (meaning glass). Just like grocery stores (by the use of rewards cards) figured out that people who spend the extra money to buy organic milk will also spend the money to by organic mushrooms and other high profit items that people who just want to buy regular milk will not want to buy. So by spending the space and money to cater to these customers who demand premium products, they can make more money (and good profit) by carrying other premium products. Not everyone buys them, but the people who buy them tend to purchase other similar items. The Note Pro 12.2 is an expensive tablet,we want quality in it (high amounts of screen real estate) and are willing to pay for it. Since we are willing to spend a little more for it, I bet as a group we are willing to spend a little more to buy the "best damn screen protector surface" that we can afford. Maybe that is it we want to buy a surface, not just a protector. We want to buy an experience, the kinesthetics of fluid user/device interaction. To get the best interaction point you need glass, you just can't get it with plastic. Its not just a protector its surface interaction we want. I'll send this to MIME, maybe their marketing people can use it. With plastic you get a screen protector, with glass you get a true surface.
I just want to say thank you to everyone who is posting and for writing to MIME to help get this made for us high end tablet users. The days are dragging by until the LTE comes out and I can buy it. I want it NOW (with glass and a gumdrop bounce brand skin).
No I don't have the Spigen for the note 12.2 but have had it on other devices and it is very nice. No drag with a stylus. . I also have used zagg often on my phones and really like them mainly for the ease of installation. I Would really like to try the Mime but who knows their time frame to have it ready.
I have used Zagg screen protectors. I did not like them. They have a sticky feel that annoys the heck out of me. Glass or naked for my devices.

I have used Zagg protectors too, but this one seems to be different, made of glass not the sticky rubbery screen protector. Zagg has started making glass like tempered glass so I was wondering if the one at Best Buy was the new product. The description on it says glass-like.

Sent MIME an email as well. Got a thank you response from them in a couple of hours. Here's hoping!
In the meantime I ordered a ghost shield from them for my son's moto x.
I have the steinheil, and it is smooth but not oleophobic at all so it shows fingerprints and has more glare. Ideally I would like to see spigen come out with a glass product like what I have for my gs4. The glass.tr I have for that is clear, smooth, Casey reduced glare, and is oleophobic. As a result, friends I see on a regular basis ask me repeatedly if I got my phone replaced because it always looks brand new.

I've read several posts about tempered glass screen protectors but haven't found a review of this product. It's more expensive than others but I like that it's colored and seems to cover the entire front of the phone. I've seen one other colored protector but doesn't appear to cover as much. This would serve two purposes for me. I'd like to protect my phone while also changing the color. I hate to spend top dollar on a phone accessory without any real world reviews.

This doesn't look like a good investment based on your reasoning for buying, I bought a Spigen tempered glass protector, but had I done more research I would have definitely saved myself some money on a cheaper product. Glass is glass, there is no such thing as super scratch resistant glass. If you want to change the color of the device buy a wrap AND a glass protector for less money, combined than this product. IMO, not a good but, but make your own determination.

So, let me get this straight...
"Sir Lancelot's" protector? Absolutely NO reviews on their own website? OR on Amazon's site, yet ONLY 16 are left? Rush, rush, i say, they may run out. After all, getting a no-name brand, Oh, no, sorry, Sir Lancelot's brand, what could possibly go wrong?
Yeah, go on, plunk down almost $40. Let us know what you think. I think it's an AWESOME idea.
<yes, all of that was sarcasm>
It's colored because that's where the adhesive is located. No bubbles because the middle section doesn't even adhere to the screen itself. Do yourself a favor and pay $7 for a real tempered glass protector. Heck, buy 4 or 5 for the price of one of those just so you have some lying around if you want.
Thanks for the feedback. I know there are several reasonably priced clear protectors but I was hoping to try out a white one. I've always had black phones and wanted to try something different by going with a white cover. I don't want to buy a product without any hands on reviews. It's odd there are no reviews of the Holy Grail or Znitro protectors.
All these test they do on TG are BS, why don't they just rub some sand on it, i'm sure scratches will turn up.

What I discovered with my GS3 and then carried over to my Note 2' then 3, is I'd rather just order a black phone and just buy replacement backs of the other color. I realized I didn't like the look of the white bezel around a black screen on the white phone. If I ordered a black phone and just got a white back, it would actually look cleaner with the front all black.
I did get the Spigen Glas-Tr slim and have been happy with it. You can get cheaper tempered glass protectors, but try to get one with rounded off edges as the other ones can chip (also the rounded just feels nicer. I did get a cheaper one for my iPad and I think the rounded makes a difference in feel when your hands touch the edges.
Finally, beware with tempered glass protectors as some cases won't work anymore because the phone will be slightly thicker.

By wrap, I mean a product like a Skinomi, http://www.skinomi.com/saganoiii.html which will allow you to change the appearance of the device. BTW, the glass screen protector will not look white on your phone, so no worries about that.

Oh I see. I just got a slickwrap but it doesn't go on top of my tempered glass protector well.. I wonder if a regular screen protector would work better because it's less thick.
I got mine a few days ago, been very happy with it
Does get very greasy through fingerprints though..
The S7 was a challenge to protect the screen, and it's looking like the S8 is going to be even harder. Based on what I learned during my search for an S7 protector, it looks like we're going to be stuck using either a wet application or a 3D curved glass screen. Does anyone have any experience with either? I know for sure that I'm getting the S8, but I'm not sure which would be the best protection (and best value).
I'll be sure to update this main post if we can come up with something that is effective.
i dont know which one is good , but i know that one called invisible shield just took too much money from us
they are actually stealing from us , so avoid that one
I've had nothing but good experiences with ZAGG InvisibleShield HD Dry. Honestly think it's the best alternative for the edge screen.

same, i think i tried at least $200 in glass protectors, most failed immediately. the rest, not soon after. I've been using the iqshield and armorsuit wet installs on the s7 edges we currently have. Obviously, it doesn't offer much for impact protection, but not a scratch to be found on the screen.
You would think with the gorilla glass being used here that the need for protectors would go down, not up.

All gorilla glass scratches at a 6 mohs scale hardness level, keys and knives won't scratch it but sand/rocks will most likely.
I had the S7 Edge last year, and ended up not getting a screen protector at all, after spending something like $60 on various ones that didn't do a good job. It was stressful, and I am contemplating just doing the same thing this year, if there isn't an "obvious" choice.
I saw a decent looking Zagg glass screen protector on Best Buy's website. Hopefully it works better than the one they put out for the S7E.
im new to the curves. ive had zagg in the past on other devices and loved the products but they are pricey. just pre-ordered yesterday now to do some research on cases and shields. thanks for starting this thread. looking to get any info from s7 edge owners as possible!

I have the S7 Edge and have moderate success with Glass Screen Protectors. One big issue is the case you use. You cannot use big heavy cases - they break the screens - best to use clear rubbery plastic protectors that have very thin sides - they offer decentprotection and look ok.
Spigen has a good curved plastic screen protector that works very well - not glass - but it fits with more cases than the Glass ones do - honestly, I ended up not using a case at all - and getting a clear glass screen protector that I rate a 7 on a ten scall -
When I get my S8 - I think I will find a clear, curved plastic protecor again. Like the one from Spigen or a few other providers - (Bodyglove has one too) More to protect against scratches than anything else.
Glass always has some issues - even the good ones - very little adhesive - tends to lift up slightly when you type at the edges - sometimes giving you a sort of 'clicking sound' - sometimes touch is effected at the edges too - typing the letters or keys to the extreme sides of the phone can be touchy sometimes....
All in all though it is an awesome looking phone...can't wait. Hope the bootloader isn't locked on the International variant - G950F -
screen protectors are a thing of the past imho.. they scratch easily and make you think that it would have happened to your glass
I do see little scratches on my s7 edge, but i cant feel them, and dont see them unless I look hard.
Apparently the curve is much less prominent on the S8 than on the S7 Edge. I wonder if that will help the glass screen protector situation? Went without a protector on my S7 Edge and ended with a cracked screen, don't want to repeat that but can't deal with non glass protection.
That's my concern as well since this will be my first phone, coming from the S6, that's gonna have a curved display. I was planning on buying another Spigen case as it's the main reason why my S6 is still in one piece, haha, but I've heard that the curved glass protectors don't work well with any cases that aren't the really thin TPU ones, so that poses a potential problem.
Should I even bother ordering any remotely heavy-duty case now, despite not being 100% sure if there's gonna be ANY glass screen protectors that will work with this curved display? If there are curved glass screen protectors that will work with heavier duty cases, it'll be very nice to know as I love having a glass screen protector on my S6 and it'd be a shame to have to give that up with the S8.

You see, I generally plan on selling my phones when I get new ones, so, I honestly care about keeping the phone in as pristine condition as possible, to get maximum resale value. The glass screen protector is the only reason why my S6 doesn't have a cracked screen. I don't understand how people can stand using obviously cracked screens... Every time I see that, I'm like WTF?! Like replacing a screen protector is HELLA cheaper than replacing your entire display. I do have a few minor scratches on my current one, but because it's not my ACTUAL display, it doesn't bother me.

Right?! A glass screen protector saved my S6, so I REALLY hope there will be curved glass screen protectors that'll work with any cases that aren't the cheap, thin TPU ones... T.T
The thing is, that the protector cracks much more easily, as well as scratches more easily. Likely, if a hit was hard enough to crack the screen itself, a glass screen protector is not going to help. They are softer than the phone's glass and that is why people swear by them. Youll spend more money replacing screen protectors then you will making the money difference from selling a "mint" class phone vs "good".
Scratches, maybe the screen protector can help with. Cracks? No way. Manufacturers would also recommend them and not persue gorilla glass etc, if it really was that easy.
I think its just another way for the industry to extract more money from people.
I'm thinking about trying this one. Armorsuit
Their case for the S7 Edge got really good reviews ( 4338 Reviews, average 4 stars) and it's cheap enough if it doesn't work well, not a big loss. It's not glass though, but I've never used a glass screen protector, so doesn't matter to me. And, it's supposedly case friendly.
I ordered a case friendly tempered glass screen protector.

Funny that it has a review without the device having been shipped for it to be installed on. I'll laugh if it turns out to not be very good and they edit it to a 1 star 2 days after the phones arrive "in hands" lol.
It's cheap enough I don't care. If it works yay, if not...I'll swap.
So I'm getting my S8 today but I still don't have anythong for its protection.
1.) What is the best CLEAR case for this device that gives it basic (slim but not too slim)? I also want to have that raised lip for the fingerprint sensor in the back.
2.) For screen protectors, is Temperd Glass recommended for curved devices? If so, which one is best?
I want to have the total cost for these at a minimal as I don't feel like spnding a lot just for the these basic accessories.
Thanks for the help!
Well I wasted almost 30 bucks on screen protectors and the only thing I can say is DO NOT buy any 3D tempered glass that is supposed to cover whole front. The main problem here is the adhesive which is located only on edges of the protector. There is air between screen and protector, which sometimes decreases touch responsivity, forcing you to apply some pressure in certain areas so that the input is registered. Also, most of these 3D glass protectors collide with many cases, so they simply don't work. Personally, just go for some decent case that will secure your device from drop, like RhinoShield or Spigen Neo Hybrid. If you care about design and don't want to lose it, go for something clear and thin/ultra thin
I bought a Baseus case from eBay and lobe it so much. So thin and light and matches perfectly. They are in Amazon too.
Also works with my Darth Vader skin that I have on the back so it still shows that off.

So are you saying not to go with any screen protector at all? Does this apply to the usual "flimsy" screen protectors as well?
Definitely do not buy any harted glass. I have ordered 3D TPU film that has adhesive on whole surface it will ship on thursday so I will tell ya if it works or not

I strongly thinking of going back to no protector. I tried glass and the White Stone dome one was great except the glue on the side kept chipping out and looked terrible. I've got a film protector on now from Best Buy Canada and again it feels so crappy compared to the naked screen. If I remove it I'll still be careful but I do have insurance just in case. I already don't use a case (only a skin) for the very same reason...that I want to enjoy the feel and look of this beauty, not cover to up to protect it for someone else in the future.

I did that with my HTC 10 for a year for the same reason and it has no scratches or micro-abrasions at all. I think it's pretty safe to assume the S8 will be no different. As for going caseless... I wouldn't recommend that for a device mainly made of glass lol. Check out the Supcase review I just posted and try it out if you like. If not, return it or at least you'd have something to put on your phone when you're going somewhere or doing something that may cause you to drop it.
Buy yourself genuine samsung screen protector tpu version and genuine samsung light case.....or silicon case genuine.... all goes 100% together.
@Hunteres
But then you oay more than what you should be paying? And that there are others that are even of higher quality than Samsung? Pass.

11euro for 2 screen protectors official package with all in....15euro for clear case official packaging and 20 euro for official silicone case. All of them on ebay from europe.
I am not fun of expensive accessories but this time samsung have it all.

Is this the first time that Samsung hit it correctly? Are these generally cheaper in eBay than when bought from Samsung stores?

They are genuine samsung from reputable sellers.... they are high quality and cheap. Honestly best combo... check reviews on YouTube before hand..... the screen protector comes in pack of 2....and its a no brainer....curved and case friendly...

Right, I don't have a doubt regarding their genuineness. It's just that there are other screen protectors like the Spigen Neo Flex that costs $8.99 for a 2-pack as well. Same goes for the clear cases, there are others that are significantly cheaper than the Samsung. So I'm just wondering how do these fare with the official Samsung ones. Any thoughts?

I agree. My only concern though is that I kinda want the "raised lip for the fingerprint sensor" feature that the Ringke cases offer and I don't think the Spigen cases have that.

Well, yeah, but I want to know how the Spigen compares to the Ringke. Maybe it is better in terms of other departments and the like.
im using the Ringke fusin clear case.
i absoultly love it, its offer all the feature's im looking at case (thin, clear and lift on top and bottom of the screen)
im gonna order the Spigen liquid Crystal as well. as the reviews says its very good case. (remindes the Ringke features)
I'm using the Spigen Ultra Hybrid. I think it a great case. I had the same one on my S7 Edge for a year.

I just finished installing the Whitestone Dome tempered glass screen protector. Initial thoughts so far is it's the best on the market hands down. Make sure you check for case compatibility before you purchase it though. The price is a little steep at $45 but well worth it IMO. The adhesive is under the entire glass and uses a UV to cure. Clarity and touch performance seem to be spot on. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06Z...+galaxy+s8&dpPl=1&dpID=51W7ozwV4HL&ref=plSrch

Me too, in Midnight Black color! Very elegant and nice.
Haven't understand yet if the clear back will become yellow or not in time...
About the screen protection, I'm a tempered glass lover. Since I've been using them I've saved all my old phones.
I've tried some curved glasses on my S8, but finally the Zagg Sapphire Curve is available in Europe and I've ordered one!
I know, it's not glass, but it's supposed to be harder then glass, and got now it's the cheapest solution for having a protection this good that adheres to all the device's screen.
And I've seen that it's case friendly and that not that bad in touchscreen sensitivity!
Will let you know

The Spigen ultra hybrid on my S7 Edge stayed pretty much clear the year I had it. I'm using a Armorsuit Military screen protector. It's not glass but it will do for now. It's really difficult to find a tempered glass protector for a curved screen. It seems like all if them are junk. I wait and let others experiment until there is one that really works without issues.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XXTRWBL/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
For clear case, my recommendation would be the Spigen Ultra Hybrid clear or the Otterbox Symmetry Clear. The otterbox is slightly chunkier but not much.
As for a screen protector I've tried the Samsung official one and the Spigen Neo Flex.
The Samsung one is a dry application and therefore is extremely difficult to get on right without dust spots. I tried it on 3 different phones and didn't get either of them right, even with the dust removal sticker.
The Spigen Neo Flex is a wet application which is far better cause when it dries out it leaves no dust spots or air bubbles. But imo the corners aren't a perfect fit for most cases. Again I tried a few and even with Spigen cases the corners lifted on all of them. A little trimming of the corners with a scalpel solved this. This protector isn't as clear looking as the Samsung dry film but is of the "military material type" and so self heals with any minor dings and scratches. I'd trim the corners a little (follow the contour of the corner and trim off a mm or two) before applying this for best adhesion on all corners for a case. It def has a slightly different feel to screen but at rhe moment I think this is the best solution of at the moment to protect out precious S8 screens.
Hope this helps.

I've been reading all the threads in the forum after I brought my OP 5 yesterday (supposed to arrive to me in the next 2 weeks) and I cant find any solid recommendation.
There aren't any brands making screen protectors to our devices and even less reviews.
-I saw people saying to stay away from the original screen protector made by Oneplus due to the few millimeter lost cause by it.
-I looked on the Orzly screen protector and it looked quiet well but after searching the web I saw multitude negative reviews due lack of adhesiv, dot metrix and rainbows showing up on the screen. but some other who claims the protector is completely fine
In conclusion: In the Glass screen protectors section, there is no good product that will be fine with guarantee ?
If so, there is any other kind of screen protector (not glass one's) such as Skinomi or IQ Shield that are recommended?
I have to order any kind of screen protector as soon as possible before my device will arrive.
thanks for your professional support !
Every single option, glass or TPU, sucks. The best option is the non-glass protector that ships applied to the phone. Baby that one as long as you can.

Still the best, even covered in 2" of lint lol
As much as the screen protectors suck, the Orzly is stil the best of the bunch. I have it installed with no rainbow effect in the middle. Again, I think this is a case of people who have the issues are the ones you see. It depends on how you install it I guess. I know a few others who have also installed it without the rainbow, but I know people who have installed it and have had the rainbow. At least it is a fully screen protector, that doesnt cut off a millimeter of the screen basically, and at least they aren't a company that blames the user for obvious issues with their TGSP *cough* Oneplus *cough*
Take it from someone who has been through 5+ different screen protectors... About the only one that was semi worth a damn was Orzly. You run into ones that don't fill the entire screen and leave the edges exposed, don't stick, cover the front camera or ones that just flat out don't end up sticking. I wish I didn't end up taking off the one that the OP5 came shipped with but oh well lesson learned. As I said as of right now the only semi decent one is Orzly but even that one I had issues with the glue towards the edges peeling so the screen wouldn't respond because the protector was coming off the screen a little. Still though - Orzly or Manufacturer screen that was originally on the one are your best options at this point.
I really like the IQ branded film protector. I've had no problems with it and I only really notice it when I swipe along the edges and feel the film.

I'm using the clear one. It's definitely not as smooth as glass but it's smooth enough. It's more smooth than a glass screen without a oleophobic coating. Fingerprint residue is minimal. The only case I have is the sandstone one from OnePlus and I have no problems with it.

Using the clear IQ protector here too. So far it's the best I've found. I've used the official TGSP, Orzly TGSP, and a couple other cheaper TGSPs. The wet application film screen protectors are the way to go for this phone it seems. Helps a lot with finger prints and I haven't had any issues with it not being slick enough.
think ill just go nude and use a thick case lol. haven't had any scratches on my s8+ which also has gorilla glass 5.
man do i hate how all phones have curved glass of some sort.
Damn those curves.. Let's hope that maybe in a few weeks we will finally get a proper screen protector.

I went and removed the factory installed protector, it was a bad idea. Now I have small hairline scratches on the bottom right corner. I've now ordered a tempered glass in Amazon to hide the scratches.
The one that came with the phone is fantastic imo. I haven't enjoyed tgsp since my nexus 6p because of the 2.5D curved glass craze, no tgsp fits any phone good anymore. Axon, Samsung (ROFL, you thought OUR screen was bad?) , I haven't looked at the screen protectors for the G6, but the screen doesn't appear to be 2.5d so that's a step in the right direction..
When my stock screen protector gets unusable, I'll buy the 30$ crash guard from rhinosheidl ?????? Just to see if the hype is real...
Unless someone already has photos of it....

No idea whatsoever, my stock screen protector from oneplus is still in fantastic shape, so I don't imagine ordering four a couple more months at least.
The ones for the oneplus 3 are 13 dollars on amazon, and ship with prime in the US.. So I imagine in a few weeks the price will become more better.
I've recently seen this on the taobao site. GOR branded TSP. I've used their flat ones on other phones and am quite satisfied with the performance. They have 2 versions, one with the black border, one with a edge sealant sort of thing. I'm planning to get the sealant version next month since my option to add items for cheap shipping is exhausted for July....
If anyone's in China or has bought one, some feedback would be appreciated.

Hi everybody.
I have been testing a couple of screen protectors in the past and wanted to share my experince with you.
The best one in my opionen is from SAMSUNG itself. It simply has the best quality. If you buy it on amazon its only $11. (http://amzn.to/2xGpWWs) I think for 2 screen protectors thats a good value for the money.
I even made a video review about it to tell what I like about it. If you are interested in it you can watch it here:
https://youtu.be/S2ixW_dvx8s
What are your experiences with screen protectors? I am curious. Share your opinions here
Though mine isn't really a screen protector, I am using the lifeproof case for my S8. Have been very happy with it. The screen protector built into the case is already curved so it fits easily. People have complained about issues with the curved part of the touchscreen and responsiveness. I have not experienced this issue at all. I have always had good luck with the Zagg Glass Protector with other phones, not sure how that is with the S8. Something to potentially look at for people.

I see. THe big problem with most of the screen protectors for me was that most of them could not hold to the edges and came off pretty early. So that's a big criteria for a good screen protector. THe one by samsung still covers my whole front after months which is one of the many reasons I like it so much.
Glass protectors are to thick and make the phone too thick in my opionion. But maybe I should give it another shot..
yes but glass protectors are designed to protect your screen in an accident, the normal film ones you have will not protect your screen from accidental damage, i presently have a htc phone with a glass screen protector on it and it has saved my phone many times as the glass screen protector cracked but the screen underneath was unmarked. I know have a samsung s8, i bought two glass screen protectors from amazon uk, the reviews were made by 72 viewers and almost 100%. i fitted the screen protector perfectly and it didnt stick to the curve edges and was very unresponsive to touch , i sent them back for full refund which i got. most importantly most of the reviews are fake reviews, amazon should stop this. ive left my feedback on amazon.
These flimsy plastic screen protectors make no sense to me. Your phone glass is already harder than anything you'll throw into your pocket. The metal on your keys and **** can't scratch your screen anyway and all these would do is protect from scratches by getting scratched themselves.
People want screen protectors to protect from cracking and shattering the phone not to protect from scratches. The screen is already mostly scratch proof unless you're rubbing it up against a pointy edge of some harder glass which I seriously don't think you'd be doing.
Anyone try Nano Fix it?

best Screen Protector for the S8
I almost feel bad that I underestimated the installation part as I almost wanted to throw the first screen protector I used. If done correctly and patiently, you will have a premium looking phone. Don’t rush it if you don’t want to regret it. So for you guys who are afraid of the “wet installation”, give it a try. It was a bit difficult for me, but I’ll do it again if it means maintaining the high quality of my Samsung Galaxy S8. And besides, the S8.

i tested this one works perfectly
the guard actually sticks to the device via glue with UV just like whitestone one but is lot cheaper
I don't use any screen protector, I realized that touching and stroking the screen was very sensational.
I can totally agree with you. In the past, I've always used multiple screen protectors.
I have my S8+ device a bit over a year now and I can see only a micro-scratches, which are invisible in the daily usage.
Besides, what's the point of buying screen protectors for, let's say 50$ and replace them every year? I'd rather save this money and buy sooner the new, fresh model.
Hi. I would like to know what you all end up using on your screen. I just bought me an S8+ and are desperately looking for a good screen protector that i can use with a case.
Please enlighten me
