i badly need it because i've lost my default systemui.apk and this apk of urs seems to be the only working systemui..
but i dislike the battery bar provided in this apk..
plz make it the default one..

this link doesn't contain the systemui.apk
it contains a flashable zip for removing sim icon..

It is a systemui.apk without sim icon.
And just below there is the stock systemui.apk

i'm sorry but but there is no systemui.apk inside that zip ..
and a systemui.apk file can't be around 500kb..
it is generally around 2.5 - 3.5 mb
so stop arguing..

First i was changed background bg to #00000000 on tw_expanded_header_dual. XML, after changes the both lines code -0x100 to 0x0 on smali statusbar phone.smali without efects too.
In tw_quicksetting_button.xml resise button and change colors on drawables and just this lines still stay blackcolor
In 9.png s too isn't works.
Do you know where really changer
1 the notification lines and icons too
2 the top header expanded color (clock background)

Installation
Save it to your sd card, rename it to "SystemUI" and with root explorer copy/cut it to system/app and reboot

I recommend to use transparent editions with dark apps cause your status bar will be nicely themed...it's unreadable with light apps

Instalation:
1. Download Poison.zip and save it to your sd card
2. backup your SystemUI.apk and UxpNxtLockScreen.apk in case you don't like poison mode
3. apply red theme
4. reboot in recovery, mount system, flash the zip, wipe cache and dalvik cache
5. reboot
Unfortunately, it's nice only with red theme Also, status bar is transparent red so if you wanna different color or transparency you can tell me
If you use this on other devices please tell me if it works or not cause I can fix it if necessary
You wanna this Sony logo?
NOTE: This is only for dark versions!
1. extract your systemUI.apk from system
2. decompile it using this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1814441
3.download attached Sony_logo.zip and extract it
4. copy these two png's to the drawable-hdpi folder of your decompiled systemUI.apk
5. now recompile it using again this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1814441
6. rename it to "SystemUI", push to the system/app and reboot
That's all!!

===SystemUI.zip to SystemUI.apk===
Now push this to system/app nd give proper permission nd reboot!

well it works for me, I just downloaded sony_logo zip and extracted it and there are png files, the same one like in my system UI. what do you mean by "to make it white you need to edit xml files"

Hmm, I flashed it now on XP and it's fine...do you wiped cache and dalvik cache in recovery?

Iv seen alot of people want a JB 4.2.2 style Status Bar so I have tried to create one the best I can for other people to theme it and develop it further
Its not perfect but I dont have the time to fully develop it so iv taken it as far as in everything works and most of the layout is done
I have used the Smali and layouts provided by SpaceCaker and resized and changed the layout to fit Galaxy Y

go to system/framework
rename lidroid-res.apk to hyperion-res.apk
rezip everything back up
flash the zip with the renamed file

Pull the left side down of the status bar for notifications
Pull the right side down of the status bar for sliders
Use the evo app by b16h22 to change the status bar colour and transparency
Install Instructions
Go into CWM

Now look at how to mod framework if you get black on black text with some statusbar events
If on stock rom it must be deodex and install the quick panel settings apk from the lidroid thread
Swipe to remove will only work on roms with frameworks that support it - if yours doesnt the status bar will force close if you attempt to swipe to remove

1. Decompile framwork-res.apk with apktool
2. Goto res/vaules
3. Open styles.xml with notepad++
4. Search for @style/TextAppearance.StatusBar
5. Just below it change the value of <item name="textColor"> to #ffffffff
6. Search for @style/TextAppearance.StatusBar.EventContent
7 Just below it change the value of <item name="textColor"> to #ffffffff
8. Recompile and put in a flashable zip and flash with system mounted
Do Not Post Things Like

have tried on galaxy duos with xduosv3 rom and work so far,but one issue,after enabling the theme i cant connect my duos via usb to my pc because in statusbar shows a buuton called settings and when i press to connect my sd the complete system ui crashs and doesnt run untill reboot,otherwise all is great so far.:good:

have tried on galaxy duos with xduosv3 rom and work so far,but one issue,after enabling the theme i cant connect my duos via usb to my pc because in statusbar shows a buuton called settings and when i press to connect my sd the complete system ui crashs and doesnt run untill reboot,otherwise all is great so far.:good:

Worked fine when I tested it on 5360 but I'll double check later
maybe the USB smali file is different between the two phones
if you could upload the original SystemUI.apk from your rom zip I can make a test build for you with different smali

iv tested connecting usb to pc with my 5360 and it works as in screenshot - Although I cant take a screen shot with usb connected as the sd card is unavailable by clicking on the connect usb in notification area it brings up the screen to connect to usb
so it must either be a duos problem or the rom your using in combination with my statusbar
what I will do probably in the next few hours is change some smali and upload a test build to see if you can connect to your pc via usb mass storage with the changed smali

There was a difference in the USB smali files - I'll add it to the op later as an alternative for duos if anyone else needs it

he also changes the update script so it shows his name when you flash the zip
I have reported his site to the anti piracy organisations and now all his links to my work now dont work and will be monitered for any future breaches
Hopefully once the investigation has been compleated his site will be shut down

1. Decompile framwork-res.apk with apktool
2. Goto res/vaules
3. Open styles.xml with notepad++
4. Search for @style/TextAppearance.StatusBar
5. Just below it change the value of <item name="textColor"> to #ffffffff
6. Search for @style/TextAppearance.StatusBar.EventContent
7 Just below it change the value of <item name="textColor"> to #ffffffff
8. Recompile and put in a flashable zip and flash with system mounted

no plans right now - its hard with different frameworks and layouts as you get many force closes before you get right and I dont know if the smali files work with cm7
all Iv done is used spacecakers smali files for the layout which you can find on his guide to 4.2.2 status bar for gingerbread

No - I didnt find time to find a way to put lidroid or a cm7 style power widget in it
im sure there is a way but I dont have time to sit down for hours working it out so the toggles you see in the screenshots are the only toggles available
there are apps on the playstore that can give you extra toggles if required
edit - if you mean change the png icons of the status bar then yes - they are all in res/drawable-mdpi

could work - I was thiinking along the lines of porting the cm7 power widget into it but at the moment I dont have time to sit and work through it all
im doing a cm7 status bar and i'll post that when finished although it only has one panel but after that I wont be doing else for a while

flash the origional status bar back first before you flash another status bar -- you may have signature problems - specially if you edited the manifest

if you modded mine and had mine installed first flash the origional status bar first then flash the modded one
I dont know exactly what you have done - normally status bar justs not showing without force close is a signature issue
Me too i tried to edit statusbar it dissapears when checked on logcat it says signature verification.
Dont know whats thd problem.

I think Iv worked out what you have done
you need to fully boot the aosp rom before you flash the status bar mod
if you flash the status bar mod at the same time as flashing the rom zip without fully booting it first the status bar will vanish
you can probably avoid this by disabling signature varification in the framework.jar I think or theres some other patch that patches some file to disable signature verifcation so you install different system apps with different signatures
there is an app that can disable signature verifcation but I cant post it or name it here

Ive already boot the rom succesfully, after cleaning i installed your mod (before im messin it) then im start messin reboot the statbar lost -_-

You can do that by adding the toggles in notification_panel_active_app_list entry in the settings storage database.

I think it will work on odex rooted ROM
You only need to replace
framework-res.apk
systemui.apk
and delete
systemui.odex
Be sure to backup those old files you delete :highfive:
And remember, if you replace framework-res.apk
your account email will be gone, you need to add your accounts again

Bro can you tell me which file inside the systemui.apk to edit to get full transparent statusbar and nav bar instead of gradient one. I know ur busy so I'll try doing it myself.

Thank you for this add-on @Rajeev . You and @dipesh1502 are my idols . Btw what is the difference between the two 5-button add-ons. I`ve flashed them both , but can not figure it out ?!?

Bro i did as you said but I still have that shadow in statusbar and navbar. Can you tell me what to edit to get full transparent status and nav bar.

yeah that's what i did but as i said i still have shadow under navbar and over statusbar. one more thing i am decompiling and recompiling systemui.apk with advancedapktool by bdfreak as i am getting error and not able to decompile the systemui.apk with any other tool. is it that after decompiling and changing the values when i am recompiling it with advanced apktool the tool itself copying the original xml files into recompiled apk.
