Hi
How to change cwm recovery?
Right now my phone, LG P760 having cwm recovery 6.0.2.9 - but when I want to put example this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2394985
Or TWRP
Fastboot your device :

Once Fastboot is ready, write the following command :
fastboot flash recovery new_recovery_image_i_want_to_use.img
Good luck
Just download flashify from playstore it will do everything...

Also you can flash the recovery zip in the own Recovery and it will be changed the next time you enter the recovery.

My problem is that I can not install another recovery, or using rom toolkit 1.3.1 I can get into fastboot but then does not flash the recovery.
Any solution?

Hi. Please help me. I deleted OS from my FLY IQ450 QUATTRO (by pressing format /system , format /sdcard0 etc. from recovery mode). Now my phone deosnt boot in recovery mode or in normal boot. It boot only in FASTBOOT mode. I cant root it to install CWM and cant install CWM to install stock rom. I tested KINGOROOT to root it in fastboot but it cannot be done. I also tested adb terminal to insatll CWM, but I saw a message: "partition recovery not support flash". Please help. Thanks..

My main problem is i cant root my phone in fastboot mode. How can i root?
ADB-Fastboot, basically your going to 'adb sideload' and flash a ROM from your computer. Its not that hard. Just read everything
You can also root your phone via abd, so I don't understand your problem

Is there a way to enter TWRP without doing fastboot commands?
Download flashify. Use it to reboot to recovery. Profit.

I Have been flashing different build between Resurrection remix and PauloBriens Modaco build, originally I could reboot to twrp just by the button combination, but now, i fastboot flash twrp, but it boots only into either a menu (options being reboot now, factory reset and clear cache), the only way i can now boot into twrp is to fastboot boot the twrp, i just want twrp as the only recovery....help please
Use
fastboot boot twrp.img
then use twrp to flash twrp.img as recovery

I think the title speaks for itself but here's the story
I recently flashed the Oreo kdz on my h850, so I lost TWRP and Magisk, but I cannot live without root access. Since my phone's volume down button is not working, is there any way I can install TWRP? Using adb and fastboot commands I can flash it, but if I boot into the system the recovery will be overwritten, so I really have to boot to the recovery.
Any ideas?
(EDIT: nevermind, I forgot that recovery is overwritten first boot without root. How about "fastboot boot recovery xxxx.img"?
This will boot temporarily into twrp where you can root device and flash twrp permanently )
Enable adb in developer option, and using a computer type
"adb reboot bootloader"
And then flash twrp
"fastboot flash recovery xxxxx.img"
Then boot into the os and type "adb reboot recovery" to enter twrp
