I cleared data, force stopped and turned off the native app "Samsung WatchTV Video" and I can't get to it anymore. I can see it in app info but I can't do anything with it. Everything is greyed out except force stop. It's not in my app drawer. If I search for it in Google now it doesn't recognize it.
Any suggestions? Thanks

rbebber,
I got excited for a minute because I hadn't looked there. No go.. Unfortunately.
evilvoice,
I use Nova. Switched back to the native home screen, checked disabled app... Boom! There it is. Went back to Nova and it was in the app drawer.
Thanks guys
You're welcome

Some of my app, in the app's menu, switch pages and are opening new page every time I reboot my phone.... How can I stop it.
I assume you're using TouchWiz (the default launcher), and if you are then search the market for AppZorter. That should help
doesn't help.
anything else?
Sorry for the double post but this is really drive me crazy

This happens to a program called 'Sim-Services' with me. I think I might just uninstall it forever. ****ty icon keeps on popping up everywhere...

Every time I download an APP from the playstore it goes to my home screen. Is there away for apps not to download to the home screen.

Yep, open the Play store, go into settings and uncheck the option that says "add widgets to home screen"
This tripped me out the first time I d/l an app from the Play store but I quickly figured it out.
I didn't know this could be disabled, thanks!

No problem...explore a bit, you'll be surprised what all this thing can do
How come whenever I launch the XDA app and I go to participated threads it shows no topics. Same goes for unread and all. This has never happened before and I tryed reinstalling it but no luck.

It happens all the time actually...
Server maintenance or.... could be gremlins
I always kill the XDA app then start it or it takes forever to get the topics.
Gremlins obviously... no but yeah maybe server maintenance. I'll try killing it then re starting it

Erase CACHE on settings it worked for me!!!!!!!

This is still not working... Ugh.

Killing it then starting it is the only thing that works. The app is for the most part pretty pathetic.
I can't kill the app with TiBa since it needs supersu pro. Any ideas?

Push and hold the home button. All your open apps show. Either swipe them or push the 'kill all' button (depends on your rom). That closes it. Then when you open it, the app has to go get fresh info from the server.

You can always access it through the browser and use cp to see your participated threads during these times of app/site disconnect.

What's causing this? I've tried a restore. And every time it helps but doesn't get rid of the problem.

This also happens. There are supposed to be apps there.

Hit the menu button and change the sorting. I'm not sure what the Samsung devs were smoking when they did the launcher, but the default sort leaves empty space when an app is removed.

Whenever I hit the home button I get a menu asking me if I want to run Touch wiz or Touchwiz easy. No matter how many times I saw always to.touchwiz it doesn't stay. Thoughts?
I really don't want to restore this and have to go through the entire setup process again?
Sent from my SM-N900P using XDA Premium HD app
Go into settings then device, toggle between "home" and "easy" a few times for touchwiz..should fix it.
Sent from my SM-N900P using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Maybe clearing out the data and cache in the settings application menu might fix it? There are also a few home launcher app chooser apps in the market.
Seems like the problem is caused by the latest version of Google Search..Each time I go into Google Now and then hit the home button I am prompted to select between the two touchwiz options.

I forgot to mention that the same thing happened to me when I was going into my task manager (holding down the home button) and clearing my defaults.
