I bought new phone Samsung galaxy pocket neto s5310. Phone is working fine. When i developing some application and application hit an unhandled exception the application crash but android dont show Force close dialog and then freeze for about 1 minute. After 1 minute the phone restarts. Log cat shows the cause of application crash but android system dont show force close and then restarts. It is bug in system or i can change the behavior in system settings? How can i trace the behavior or bug in system? I develop few applications for android but this is my first time encountering this problem.

I know this is a weird question. I'd like to remove or auto acknowledge the Force Close popup.
I'm using a Galaxy Tab 2 (P3113) as a RC control device. Occasionally the control app will display a Force Close popup and continues to output the last signal until I acknowledge the Force Close popup. So the RC device continues to operate at the last single. Once I acknowledge the Force Close popup the fail safes will activate freezing the RC device. I've contacted the developer of the app so i'm sure he'll fix the issue eventually, but it would be nice if I could implement a temporary fix.
So is there anyway to just automatically acknowledge an Force Close Popup.
Hello,
ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
My mobile information.
ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
Samsung Galaxy Y Duos GT-S6102
Android 2.3.6.
I am using the Stock ROM, My mobile is rooted.
I am also using GO Launcher EX and Go Locker.
ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ.
Each time i lock my phone and keep it for a while ( 15 minutes or more i think ) The Facebook Messengers and Whatsapp's Background service closes automatically, which lead that i don't receive any notifications.
BUT .. When i unlock the phone the service restart and opens again, but this made me lose many conversations because i didn't receive the notification .
and Here is a test i made :
1- Lock the phone
2- keep messaging periodically my phone and i kept receiving notifications for long time ( 1 hour + )
3-but when i stopped sending myself messages and the phone was idle for 15min+ then i messeged my phone again, no notifications were received
4-after i unlock the phone and then i instantly gone to "Running Service tab" to check the service i found them " Restarting".
5-after they finished their restart i received the missed notifications.
Note : I Don't have any Auto-Task killer applications ( i had before but uninstalled it )
Bump
It could be your running out of ram for some reason and the system is killing them. I would look at what's going in with your screen off. It is known that the GO apps have been known to do some questionable things while the device is in this state.
Bat cave One
THL 4000, android 4.4.2, kingo rooted (rooted long before problems started)
All of the sudden, some of my apps (not all of them) have started crashing and crashing the entire OS when trying to go online. The logcat shows: E (675) could not open '/data/data/hotplug/cmd' file is missing
This happens with facebook messenger, Gett, facebook itself ( who doesnt crash but cant go online), and more. Browser, whatsapp and others arent affected.
Another issue started at approximatly the same time, where my wifi switch widget refuses to go offline. Turning wifi off through the settings shows to be ok, but the outside widgets stays on, and suddenly finds new networks and the wifi goes live again by itself.
Any ideas or other information I can provide?
Cheers
Hey Guys -
I recently upgraded to a Galaxy S9+ and overall love it despite not being able to root. For the past couple of weeks, I've had a three very annoying issues though. I've tried many things to resolve, but so far can't figure out solutions. Below are thr issues and what I've tried to fix each. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
1. Random ads open in default browser (Firefox) no matter what I'm doing / what app I'm in
It doesn't matter what app I'm in, every 5 min or so Firefox opens on top of whatever I'm currently using without warning and displays an ad in a webpage. I use the Ublock tool in Firefox so sometimes it opens to a blocked webpage
What I've tried to fix:
- Closed all tabs, cleared history / personal data, then force quit Firefox
- Restarted phone
- Tried many malware apps like Malwarebytes but scans come in clean
- Uninstalled apps not installed from Google Play (only a couple)
- Put all apps not needed to run in background asleep
- Disabled notifications for apps I don't need
2. Display configs randomly apply
I have my screen set to turn off after 2 minutes and also have "always on display" enabled during the daytime which is different than simply leaving display on. Currently, though; after 2 min the screen just dims - that's it. If I hit a button to turn screen off it works, but if I place it on charger after doing this, the lock screen appears and it just Dom's after 2 minutes too. Basically, always on display only works after I press a button to power display off
What I've tried to fix:
- Verifying settings we're correct
- Setting configs differently then reverting them
- Disabled all MacroDroid / AutoMagic scripts
- Installed Greenify to put apps to sleep thinking one may be keeping device awake
3. Secure Startup Reverts
My work uses InTune and requires strict policies and settings in order for sync to work - one of these is Secure Startup where you must enter your passcode after reboot. Every couple of days or after a reboot, this setting Reverts from being enabled to disabled this making my phone daily compliance and stopping sync of work stuff. I must manually reenable it, then jump through hoops to get it compliant again. This has been an issue since I got the phone.
Any suggestions for any of the above?
Thanks!!
You could have a malware in your phone. When I had my note 8 I experienced something similar with the ads, it was very annoying. Long story short... I had to do a factory reset
I agree with TonyGzl92. It is probably Malware.
If the problem persist and you have deleted all installed apps and still get the problem you will ned to perform a factory reset and watch the phone after every app you install.
I had the issue with the screen just dimming instead of going completely off, and it was a conflict with an app I had installed. Pretty sure it was a Play Store app, but it's been long enough I no longer remember what app it was.
Hi,
I am currently facing an odd issue with PowerAmp on my PX5 headunit. I have placed my music on the internal flash and set everything so that in theory PowerAmp should resume playing after the unit re-starts. What happens instead is:
- sleep for short time, PA starts playing right where I left it, or somewhere around, that's ok
- deeper sleep/hibernation: PA starts playing where I left it and closes immediately after that
I am using the Hal9k ROM which also features some options to keep apps "running" during standby and it also can re-start apps and services. But I tried different settings and the behaviour is as expected. If I remove PA from the "keep active" list, it remains closed after re-start. If I set it on the re-start after standby list, it starts from scratch. If I leave it on the "keep active" list, it does the start and close thing.
How can I determine which app or which setting can cause this? Is there a way of logging the commands PA is receiving? In the options it always says that the last command it received was "resume".
Thanks in advance!
Sebastian
