Hey guys, can you help me? EVERY TIME I GO TO CWR (CLOCKWORKRECOVERY) IT SHOWS AN ANDROID AND AN EXCLAMATION POINT. wHY IS THAT
Because you didn't install a custom recovery, or you installed a recovery and then rebooted into stock Android and it over wrote your recovery.

You haven't flashed a custom recovery.
I believe that now you are root user and have the unlocked bootloader. If so, you just have to open the cmw application and you will fin an option that says "Flash.... " you just press it, it will ask for the model of your phone, it'll download something automatically and at the end will ask for root permisions.
When it has finished, just reboot into recovery and you'll find all the options of CMW
So I was using Boot Menu Manager and I made a full backup of my stock rom. I wiped everything from system 1 and flashed Carbon rom then dtrails kernel. Well it wouldn't boot with that kernel so I went back into BMM and tried to reflash the ROM so I could boot it and BMM froze while it was flashing. To get out I had to do a force restart. Now my phone won't prompt for BMM and I can only get into the stock recovery and fastboot! What can I do???? Please HELP!
someone must have an idea? Please I have no phone right now!
Do you have an XT912 or XT910?
Flash the fastbopt file ( or SBF FILE?I dont know how to call it. )The reason that the bmm dosent show up is because that it will install itself to keep stay on your stock system. When you force reboot while you flashing a ROM or something, the system was wiped but the bmm dosent even have a chance to install itself to your system.Thats why it didnt show up when you boot.

That makes sense. Unfortunately I have an alltel xt908 RAZR maxx which is identical to the xt912 but is signed differently so I can't use xt912 sbf/fast boot files.

Hi all,
I have Safestrap Recovery v3.11 (TWRP v2.2.2.1) and CM-10.1.3 umts_spyder on Slot1. I did something stupid in safestrap (can not remember if I wipe or install a different ROM in stock slot) and lost my stock ROM, it can't boot, the screen goes black (bricked).
I can still boot and use the CM perfectly, but I wonder if there is a way to reinstall the stock ROM on stock slot.
You can use RSDLite to flash the stock fastboot files.
This will get your phone into stock state and you will need to root again and re install SS.

Thanks, but I already tried and did not work.
RSD says "the phone failed to switch to fastboot mode".
You have to boot into fastboot mode before flashing.

Thank you,
After flashing the file, the phone is looping during boot, it loads motorola logo then reboot.

I want to get the new CM11 for the razr, but it requires safestrap 3.65, I'm on 3.11 and I can't seem to update it?
I installed the app, I hit uninstall recovery, then install recovery, like it said to. All is good and it says "State: Installed"
So I reboot into safestrap and it's still on 3.11, I honestly don't know what I am doing wrong here.
and help?
I think its uninstall recovery, install 365 then install recovery

I used the 3.11 app to uninstall recovery then installed the 3.65 app and installed recovery, but it's still at 3.11
Hello everyone,
I have an LG G PRO 2 d838 device. I didnt do any custom work to it except rooting. It is running the stock kitkat 4.4 rom. I have not encountered any issues with the device before.
I was looking into upgrading to lollipop but OTA update is not available for rooted devices. So i was trying to load into stock recovery mode using buttons method but it didnt work. I instslled Quick boot app and used it to boot into recovery but when it was supposed to show recovery menu, an image of a droid laying on its back with chest open and a red triangle with an exclamation mark on it appeared.
I installed rom manager and it says clockword recovery is not available for my device.
I dont know where to go from here. Is there anyway to install recovery mode/bootloader under these circumstances?
Thanks in advance

You can still install recovery. HERE is the link of APK for installing recovery on LG G Pro 2.
Instructions:
1. You must be rooted!
2. Install apk
3. Open it and click Install Recovery and then reboot to recovery!
Here we go, recovery installed, but only one problem. It is only usage for installing ZIP files, not for making backups!
Here is also CWM recovery but it is for lollipop: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-...covery-cwm-recovery-lollipop-booyaah-t3035831
Thank you. I'll try these solutions.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this anyway?
