How do i change the font size so font for almost everything will be bigger? On my nexus 4 and HP touchpad, there was an option to adjust the font size?
does the HTC Amaze stock don't have it because A: it's not a nexus B: it's not AOSP ?

On AOSP style ROMs there's an option under accessibility to change the font size. On stock ICS I don't think it can be done.
All the AOSP ROMs here have font size changing options. For texts you can pinch the screen to adjust the size if it helps. :good:
Hit thanks if I helped!

Sense w/ ICS doesn't have a font-size adjustment setting, but don't fret. There are excellent 3rd party apps that will enlarge them for you. I use a small app called FontUp from the play store that fixes things with no problems. Setting font-size to 115% = large in JB or KK, and 130% = extra large. I've been using it since I got my Amaze with no issues. When you're 50+ like I am even with glasses having the fonts be a little larger goes a long way towards a more enjoyable experience. LOL
I hope this helps

I've tried Big Font too. This one seems to work better for most places, so it does a more thorough job. Unfortunately, there are still a few places that neither can change, this is because sense has hard-coded certain font sizes in these areas. Try it out, it's free, doesn't ask for crazy, permissions, and there are no ads or trackers. It's just a simple utility that does what it says it does.

I think this might just be a resolution issue, I looked at how to get this LWP to work for Nexus 7/you just change the DPI of the system. I tried playing around with different DPI's on my N2 and it would load without FC, but it was super zoomed in. Since we got auroa working, any chance of someone resizing this to work with the note 2?

fixed it
I made some adjustments to the dimensions of the background images (both the resources & in the code) and was able to reduce the size of the original apk considerably. The end result is being able to run the LWP without having to adjust DPI settings on my Nexus7. Perhaps this modified apk will work for your Galaxy Note 2 as well.
Update: I've attached a version with the background resized to 1024x600. I also attempted to remove the smallest width dp layout selector. I've been away for a while, so my skills are a bit rusty and I can't promise that any of this will make a bit of difference.
thanks for the effort but it doesnt work
i can get it to load by messing around with the dpi settings, however, it is super zoomed in. i think it is on a leaf or a blade of grass. if i don't mess around with the dpi, it just FC. progress.
works
hey thanks for your effort
it works now but its too small
for note 2 it needs to be 1440 by 780
please try to fix it cause i do love this wallpaper
your work is appriciated

Update from js. He said he has been busy lately and hasn't had a chance to work on it. He will once he gets some time, so we just need to be patient.
Not much changed from my previous post. Since I removed the smallest width dp layout selector from the 1024x600 layout and folks reported that it worked, I applied the same change to the 1280x800 version. I also further reduced the size of the background images to reduce the resource demands of the wallpaper.
I ran down the battery on my Nexus 7, so I wasn't able to test this one. Let me know if/how it works.
It's so cool. Can u make this work on sgs3 please

The images in the original are actually pretty big and the sizes are also hard coded in the application. I resize both in my version.

Hey, how can I have the full screen mode on my CM 10.1?
I mean, everything on my screen is too big, icons and fonts, too!

What are you expecting "full screen mode" to do? I've not heard of it myself, unless you mean "expanded desktop". Please could you elaborate a little?
Personally, I always prefer on AOSP ROMs to lower the DPI to about 240 - 245 to make everything smaller and crisper.

And that's what I want: everything smaller! But I've installed CM and it didn't ask me if I wanted 320 or 240 DPI, and I was looking for a good looking ROM with a great design but I've tried 2 ones and I couldn't send / get messages :\

Well, you can change the DPI manually in build.prop. Or you can install exposed framework and get an app to change it (Per app DPI). If you could elaborate the problem about sending/receiving messages more, then it would be helpful.
Maybe ParanoidAndroid could be the ROM of your choice. PA offers complete or independent DPI settings without big editing like in pure CM10.1.
I personally use pacman ROM and have set via paranoid android settings apps DPI as I like. Some bigger some smaller.
Using an alternative launcher could also be a solution. In Apex you can set how many icons should be displayed in a row and line. This also makes the home screen "smaller"

I changed mine to 480 and everything looks real good but as I figured most if not all of the LG/Verizon apps force.
Was wondering if there as any magic number that may allow these apps like contacts to work? I just don't understand why these manufactures create these big beautiful high-res display then blow everything up so people can read then from across the room.
Thanks

530 seems to be working great for me. Read that anything lower messes with the LG apps. Some have used xposed to have per app dpi settings.

Side note, I found that trickster mod works for changing the LCD colors. No gamma, but I think my display looks a little better now.

If you use a lower DPI like me (I use 320) on the 5.0 lollipop port by scrubber you've probably noticed the navigation bar buttons are too separated.
Flash the attached zip in recovery to fix this.
Only portrait for now. When I got some spare time I'll fix the landscape layout.
Status: Beta 1

If you prefer to swap the recents and back button check out my other mod: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z-ultra/themes-apps/mod-swap-recents-navbar-buttons-t2964524
Edit 2014-12-08: Added a revert zip. Flash in recovery if you want to restore the original SystemUI.
Edit 2015-02-14: Uploaded Beta 2. Fixed the IME switcher and menu button location. Also fixed layout in landscape mode.
This is great, thanks.
swap back and recent apps.
Good work OP. One question though, is it possible to swap the back and recent apps buttons? On 4.4.4 i just used xposed with gravity box but as far as i know xposed doesn't work on lollipop.
Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

And some rather large icons I'd like to decrease in size. Also, how can I add an extra row on the screen to have an extra icon or app? Thanks.
Oh, both of those are dependent on the launcher you're using.
Try this one where you can tweak most of the things: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.launcher
Or this one which is the Google Now Launcher: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.launcher
^ Thanks pemell, would you recommend Google Now Launcher/Nova launcher over the stock Sony launcher?
I know it's a little off topic, but I figured you might be able to give me some advice. I flashed this mod, and decided to restore a CWM nandroid back up. I've been stuck on the bootanimation for quite some time now. Is this to be expected? Again, sorry for the off topic post, and keep up the good work!

Any more then there's a problem!

Why did you want to restore a nandroid backup? Because of this mod? If so, I'll make a flashable revert zip available.
Regarding you being stuck on the bootanimation I got no idea, except that it's definitely not because of this mod.

Is it possible to tweak the dpi of Nova Launcher? The icons are too small when I'm on 320 dpi on Nova, but they okay when used in 400 dpi. On the contrary they are pretty decently sized when I'm using Google Search 4.0 + Google Launcher 1.11. I actually started using Google's alternative because of this and also due to the fact that the app drawer employs a white background which increases visibility even when the brightness is very low. I haven't seen this option in Nova yet. I know we can change icon sizes and scale them in Nova settings, but still the sizes and fonts are not proportional to what I would like it to be. Changing grid sizes helps a bit but it doesn't change the icon and font scaling problem.
I did try editing the shared_prefs.xml file from data/data and changed the dpi from 320 to 400 but it seems to reset it everytime the launcher is opened even if I've set the file to read only in properties.
Edit:
I also have another request for you. Can you change the navbar dp to 42 instead of 48 in portrait & landscape? 48 seems bigger than what it should be.
You don't need to tweak the dpi as you can change icon size in Nova
Or maybe that's only for payed users? Check in look & feel and see if you can change icon size

Yes, I used the option to manually resize the icons, but they're still way smaller than what 400dpi looks like.
Even after resizing, the icons are much smaller than what Google now launcher for Lolipop looks like at 320dpi. Only at 400dpi do they look okay.
Also what about the Navbar height? Is there anything we can do about that?
Is this "way smaller"?
Yeah I could make a mod changing the navbar height.
It's really a pitty to see that samsung phones are the only smartphones that don't allow increasing the font size in the statusbar while we have huge screen estate, at least using the oneui settings.
So is there a way to increase the font size in statusbar? In the end of day my eyes are tired and can't read easily the clock
Just checked, can't do it either on my Xperia IV or Pixel Pro 7? You sure that other phones allow you to do this?

Not everything, statusbar and icons that you can resize later with your launcher
