dose any one have or know arabic ROM for P769 or can i use any L9 rom for it ? and if yes can any one give me any rom that work on this device with the way of flashing please ???

It seems that there is no official Arabic ROM for this device (maybe because it was never officially sold in an Arabic country) :

Some ROMs from other devices type can work on this phone. Maybe you could try to force, through offline flashing method, a ROM from another device version (avoid P760, I read it provokes screen touch issues). Please try to read carfully which version is compatible with your device (I saw some posts on this forum a long time ago). And don't forget to backup !

Hi Android Enthusiasts... Its been many months ive been waiting for the p690 root and custom rom but i have no luck...
I have a problem with my phone i purchased from a friend with e userdebug V08b test keys build gingerbread 2.3 withbaseband version unknown...
there have been some problem with the light, it automatically turns on most of the time....
is any body there can help me root it and install a ROM is not userdebug
Hopefully you can extract it from your phone..

Bro, we have the same unit, actually its a 5 day old phone, the only difference is that my software is updated. its V10b already..ive been looking and surfing around if there are ways to root my phone..but no luck too..Hopefully it will not be long that someone can give solutions to this problem.

Hi, I'm too new here, but really need help for my LG optimus net (p690b), running 2.3.4 stock, anyone has the FM radio.apk for this?
The phone is brand new, stock 2.3.4 but without the FM radio app, software version v10i from virgin mobile, didnt change anything yet. Knowing most people who have this usually have FM radio even on stock, just need an apk if someone can help... well, ... me too new here.
It dose have internet radio and will cost your data plan,but that is not i want.

Hy My Lg Optimus net p690 wont start not, the pc it's not detect when i connect . Can i doo something , to start .. .
It happend when a instald CyanogenMod , I had a power failure, and my pc restarted .

but unfortunately it has a software problem...
so i want it to update the firmware to the next version of 2.3 Gingerbread or to re install the same version contained it...!

I've the same problem too but you might solve it easier than me .
just try this link to access the phone officially web page then click download from the top of the page then click upgrade in one touch and download&install it then follow the instructions to done this job with your self .
If any one have ant another solution please help us because this one didn't work with me ( it toke 5 hours in downloading data to get to 48% only ,so I cancelled the process ) so any other solution would be good .

I have an xperia X10 mini Pro. now i have a verry stupid question (and i think i posted this on the wrong section, sorry for that my first time on the forum). my question is: will i be able to play games that are not compatibel with my phone ( icon pop quiz,...) if i root? or will it make no difference
and if it will help can sombody like explain in short how to root and what about roms ..
I know there are alot of treads but i want you to like give me advise on what is the best for me?
will i lose my data on phone and sdcard?

Hey You can have any game in your U20i ,there is only one problem that you have ,that is were you able to play a game in your mini pro! Rooting your x10MP does not delete your sd data (but may your phone data, if you upgrade to another firmware and root, will delete phone data ).

Hey, bro!
First of all, there are no stupid questions, weŕe all learning here .
Rooting, in itself, doesnt let you play more Games/Apps.If you want to use more and especially newer apps, you will have to install a Custom ROM on your device, commonly known as flashing. A custom ROM is a is an android operating system that is different from your latest "official"(made by SonyEricsson) OS. Custom ROMs for our device are very practical, because our latest official Android version is 2.1, which doesnt support many apps. Currently, the best working custom ROMs for our Phone are the ones based on 2.3 Gingerbread.
To get the very best out of your Phone, you will have to unlock your bootloader (which is slightly risky) and flash a custom kernel, which is also part of a new Android OS(tutorials you will find in the following link).
If the procedure of unlocking your bootloader is to risky/difficult for you, there is another alternative: to flash a ROM based on your preinstalled("stock") kernel. For this you HAVE to root your phone, which doesnt have any risks and isnt difficult, install xrecovery (a program to install new ROMs) and then flash a "stock kernel based" ROM. PS.: You wont lose any on your sdcard and phone if you just root your Phone. If you flash a new ROM, you will lose the data on your Phone, but not the data on your sdcard.

First of all... Sorry for my bad English! I am from Germany and not good in learning languages.
I have a question.... I searched here in forum since days, but did not really understand, what rom is the latest / best for my LG E460 at moment. I already rooted and unlocked bootloader on my phone. If I understand right, next step is to install recovery and after that flashing rom, right?
It would be very very nice, if someone could tell me, which thread for installing recovery and which thread for installing rom, would be the latest and best choice to do on my mobile phone now. (without having problems like no buttons at homescreen or anything else). My English is too bad to understand all of this that was written in these different threads. It often sounds good at beginning, but later on page 2,3, ... someone writes things that sounds not so good. At moment I did not really know if there are still problems if I flash on lg e460 or if problems would be fixed already.
