Hello, sorry for my bad english. I post here because I want move all event of S Calendar (which are stocked in the device, they aren't synchronized with Google Calendar) in Google Calendar, but I can't. With Kies I have did a backup of the calendar but he give to me a file with a extension .ssc.
I want do that because I want flash a custom rom, and I want keep the event of the calendar.
Would you have a solution ?

Each time i flash to a new rom I have to use appbrain to sync all my apps. I have a co worker who has a nexus one and each time he flash's the rom the apps he had installed redownload from the google cloud. I am wondering is there some setting I am missing which is preventing me from getting my apps via a sync from google after a rom flash?

I accidentally removed my calendar app with the titanium backup from my defy. At this moment I can not restore it and i can not use other calendar apps and sync with my google calendar.
I removed Calendar 2.1 and Calendar Storage 2.1.
Can someone upload the stock apk files from a ROM?
My version: Blur_Version.2.51.1.MB525.Retail.en.FR

So I have a Galaxy S2 running Android 4.0.4 and I rooted the phone and started uninstalling some apps... I decided to remove the calendar app since I though it was completely separate from Google Calendar but it turned out that it wasn't and now I can't use Google Calendar. I tried to copy the calendar file from my HTC ONE S phone also running Android 4.0.4 but it didn't work. Not sure how I can recover my calendar.
I believe I need Calender Storage or CalendarProvider.apk because one of the calendar apps I installed said it could not create local calendar. I also coppied that file from my htc to my galaxy /system/app/ directory but I guess it's not the same file because it didn't work.
If you have a Galaxy S2 please send me these two files Calendar.apk and CalendarProvider.apk.
As I'm not allowed to post in the Dev section I'll try it here...
I have successfully installed Thor Gapps, it's an awesome piece of work. The only thing I'm missing is adding other than Google accounts, e.g. I'd like to add an ActiveSync (Exchange) account to sync email and calendar. I installed a stock settings app but it still only shows Google accounts. Did I do something wrong or is this version just not supporting anything else?

When I try to create account there is no exchange option, don't wanna use Outlook app because it's using proprietary format for data not possible to share with other apps, need it especially for contacts syncing. Is there some version of Exchange services which could I just install and make Exchange account available?
Extract and install the e-mail apk from 7.1 NOS zip (or get it from here). It works on other 8.1 ROMs too

flash mini gapps, have exchange services (for gmail for example)
in the end I just installed gmail and disabled built in email, but thanks for tip with Mini gapps, always installing pico, this is useful
