What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Menu
2. system settings
3. profiles
4. home key
5. menu
6. system settings
7. profiles (results in no profiles showing)
8. application groups (results in : Unfortunately, settings has stopped)
If you haven’t tried one yet, I would first recommend a soft reset. That’s done by simply removing the battery from your phone, allowing a minute to pass, and putting the battery back in and turning the phone off.
If you’re still experiencing issues with your Settings crashing, . It’s possible there could be some older apps that aren’t compatible with the new operating system that are causing problems.
If it does not work the soft reset
Wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache + dalvik done.

I can not factory reset my tablet

My current ROM does not allow me to Turn on the Debug Mode for some reason I don't know. The tablet is provided by our school so it has many restrictions like Facebook, Twitter and any other platforms that is not "trusted" by the goverment. The tablet is being updated like every day to patch the restrictions. I was be able to turn on the USB Debug mode but now they blocked it, too. So I decieded to get tablet back to factory settings so I will be able to Turn on Debug Mode and root the tablet and remove the restrictions. I do press Power Button & Volume Up button to open up Android System Recovery. The weird thing is I only have:
reboot system now
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
I don't have any other options like "Install from SD Cart" or whatever other tablets have. Anyway I do select 2nd option which is wipe/data factory reset option and Yes -- delete all user data option.
It says:
-- Wiping data...
Formatting /data...
.. and after a while it restart and opens up like nothing changed. Same tablet before I shut down. Neither 3nd option does work. Please help me about this tablet. What can I do to root it or make it to the factory reset?

[Q] Went to Recovery mode & cleared the cache & that bricked my phone!

I'm on a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lolipop v5.0 Rooted.
When to the recovery options & cleared the cache option & selected reboot.
Read several threads saying this is 100% safe & recommended to do to speed up you phone.
When it rebooted I got the message
"Process system isn't responding
do you want to close it?"
Then I got several more pop ups
unfortunately, MTP app stopped
unfortunately, Media Storage has stopped
unfortunately, Settings has stopped
unfortunately, Security log agent stopped
unfortunately, Touchwiz home has stopped
unfortunately, Google play services has stopped
Those messages loop over & over & there is just a black screen behind them. Can't get to the menu.
Going to the recovery menu again, I have these options left:
-reboot system now
-apply update from adb
-apply update from external storage
-wipe data/factory reset
-wipe cache partition
-apply update from cache
Will any of those (OUTSIDE OF WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET) unbrick my phone?
Too afraid to touch anything now.
Also at the very bottom of the recovery menu there is some wording if that matters at all:
# manual mode #
-- appling multi-csc..
applied the csc-code: spr
Successfully applied multi-csc.

OnePlus One, CM-13.1.2 stock room. Phone hangs every time after reboot

Hello,
For a long time I'm using my good old friend OnePlus One, it works great to me on stock AOSP CM-13.1.2 until yesterday. I fail in the name of good and terrible thing has happened xD.
I wanted to stop draining my battery by apps which all the time were using GPS service to track my location so I started to make some change in settings -> privacy guard settings -> Location permission.
I tried to change the permission to those apps from "Allowed" to "Always ask". I do mistake and change permission to Google Play Services. After that I restart my phone. Now every time my OnePlus One is stuck/freeze after booting screen and I see only black screen and popup window in center with requests to give Location permission to Google Play Service.
Touch screen not working when is press to Allow, It cant go ahead to lock screen.
My phone is not rooted, locked bootloader, no TWRP, only stock Cayanogen recovery with options:
Reboot system now
Apply update -> Apply from ADB->ADB Sideload
Factory reset -> Full factory reset or Wipe cache partition ( I dont want lose my data on phone)
Advanced-> Reboot recovery
Advanced-> Reboot to bootloader
I read on internet that I need to modify or delete /data/system/appops.xml file
What can I do now, how can I do this modification without losing data.
Can I do it from shell console ADB? and which option I have to choose in recovery to connect my laptop OS: win XP with OnePlus One?
I read that i can do it by TWRP recovery but i dont have it on OPO. Can I safely flash it to phone without losing data? Bootloader is locked.
Is there any tutorial how to do it safely? How to Delete or download, modiffy and replace file /data/system/appops.xml using ADB commands, backup my personal data to PC, connect with phone by ADB with computer.
Any help needed. Sorry for my bad english.
Best Regard

Asus K00A (ME302C) - Android does not start. Bootloop?

Hello,
I have a tablet Asus K00A (ME302C) in front of me. Android can't boot. It looks like:
And so forever.
This happened supposedly after trying to restore the android to factory settings.
I've already tried:
- factory settings
- disconnecting the battery
- reinstall the system (cleans partitions and restart,
then again this loop).
Maybe you know how to solve this problem?

I came up with a problem and came up with a solution myself
1. Download the firmware in RAW format - from here: cloud. mail. ru / public / a10c34c64da1 / Original /
2. Format your MicroSD card to FAT and copy the downloaded RAW file to it
3. Proceed as for uploading an official ZIP file. Insert the card into the device, start the tablet with the VOLUP + POWER key combination. Use the volume keys to go to the SD DOWNLOAD position and confirm with the POWER button.
It took a while to check the checksums and install the software, but in my case it was worth the wait:
