Completely normal. That's only used if you purposely put an ruu file on your sd card for hboot to run. Therefore, unless you plan to do just that, it should never find one of those.

Thank you for your fast reply. 1 quick question : I tried to flash RUU zip via fastboot, during process of flashing, phone flashed fine and completed. But after checking logs on CMD screen, some of partitions were failed to flash ( radio, system and main partitions flashed fine ). Is it also normal ?

Whether flashing it from fastboot or flashing it from boot loader it needs to run twice.

hi guys....i'm getting fail to boot 4 message when turning on my phone. it happened after flashing 1FF-sunfire-user-2.3.4-4.5.1A-1_SUN-154_5-CM-release-keys-signed-Sprint-US.sbf coz i had a boot loop after flashing a custom ROM and forgot to wipe data. i got a unlocked phone using deprunlock.sbf. i also tried reflashing 1FF-sunfire-user-2.3.4-4.5.1A-1_SUN-154_5-CM-release-keys-signed-Sprint-US.sbf but when i get to "Switching device to BP Pass through..." its goes to "Error Switching device to BP Pass through.." and fails flashing....need help pls!
Are you able to get in fasboot mode or android recovery? Or is it the standard failed to boot 4 rsd starting error?

Try to revert back to ARHD ROM and see if your problem is fixed.
There is no way (I mean hardly a way) - where your Radio could be wiped out - especially since we all are S-ON (unfortunately) .
Don't forget to flash the boot.img.
I hope you are on TWRP?
I also hope you have ADB tools in your system...

Yes - try to boot it to bootloader (Volume Down + Power)
Use TWRP.
You have to erase your cache memory.
Then you can get into recovery again. Had it also once.

Need to have ADB tools installed on your system. Which I assume you have
and IMHO CWM is a bad idea at least for HOX+, would strongly recommend TWRP

Is ADB tools installed in your PC?
If yes - make sure it is in the PATH. If not - please go the folder where you have installed ADB and run the command from there. It might give you "waiting for device" but not wrong command!

I would suggest using flash image GUI, and flashing a kernel, I suggest mirage.

It works, don't know why it doesn't for you.
Other things you can try is flash boot.IMG through fastboot
Or using 4ext make sure smartflash is enabled and do a fresh install of your rom
Also you can flash some kernels through recovery

I'm having problem with data connection on my HTC One Max Verizon. I'm trying to investigate further for this problem. One big mistake i made was not backing up the origin ( stock ) ROM since day 1 when I 1st purchased this phone but came to the point of running rumrunner and flash custom ROM straight away ( I'm pretty much very confident with android, but still STUPID ).
I'm requesting a full NAND backup with all of the partitions ( of course no IMEI or personal data partition ) so that I can try to restore the Verizon stock Pre-programmed settings into my phone for further investigation.

Today my DNA said the Wi-Fi was "turning on" and it just hangs there. It never actually turns on or connects to a wireless network. I have tried rebooting the phone, shutdown, using airplane mode, etc. Even did a factory reset and it's still doing the same thing.
I tried "WiFi fixer" from the Play Store, that didn't help either.
Phone has always been stock, no root.
Any suggestions?
Turn off fastboot and reboot. Then see if it works. If not only option might be to restore to factory settings.

The ruu won't root or put a custom rom on your phone. The ruu will erase your phone completely and put it back to the way it came out of the box on the stock rom. In your case it will be the newest update that's the ruu I suggest using. It's very easy to do just follow the instructions on the computer screen. Hopefully it can fix the issue if it doesn't it probably hardware related and if that's the case and your within your one year warranty try and get a replacement. But we can cross that bridge when we get there. For now get the newest ruu which is 3.0.6 I believe from here.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B32gqnbh2ZecYTlvV1dlZTVRS0E/preview?pli=1
That is the direct download link. The ruu needs to be run on a Windows computer I recommend Windows 7 and have the phones drivers installed for it to work properly.

Hey guys, after flashing the firmware and the RUU twice using the link provided the Wi Fi is working but it's still acting a little funky here and there. Earlier this morning, the phone rebooted when I tried to turn on Wi Fi. After it booted up, I was able to turn Wi Fi on/off several times and it worked perfectly.
Any chance that putting cyanogenmod or something on there would fix these intermittent glitches?
What would I do for a bootloader and root?
Newbie here, did some reading last night but there's so much.
If you look in the original development thread you will find it. Go to the website download the one for the DNA and then follow the guide. Once you achieve soff you need to flash a custom recovery. I recommend the twrp 2.6 beta it seems to work when flashing all the kit Kat roms I haven't tried 2.7 yet but if your feeling adventurous you can try that to. To flash a recovery you need to put your phone in fastboot and then use the command fastboot flash recovery and then you have your recovery on your phone. Then you can flash what you want. If you want to do this and need any help direct message me and I can help you out.
