So I had rooted my phone successfully about 2 months ago. I then proceeded to use Pimp My Rom to further pimp it out. I had played with the settings a lot and the last thing I remember is enabling quick boot, along with a LOT of other tweaks. I then rebooted and it turned on simply showing LG logo and bypassing all other boot screens[MetroPCS]. Phone was working great. I decided to reboot the phone and now it shows LG logo and then black screen. I can tell the backlight is on, but nothing happens. When I do Vol Down + Home + Power it shows the android with the thing in his belly and then it just reboots into a black screen. Vol Up + Home + Power does nothing. I'm not sure what to do. HALP!

Hi. I did http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1586570 this to my phone and since then every time I turn it on the black screen with AP Fastboot flash failure appears and not the Motorola logo. Not that I turn off my phone that often, but it's frustrating. I have to pres Vol Up/Down + Power button and choose Normal boot everytime I want to turn on the phone. Please explain me how to unroot or I don't know, I have the phone for 5 days now. I want it to look like I've just opened the box
P.S. Already tried Factory reset, doesn't help, still the black screen when I press the power button to turn on.
P.S.2 My system version is 651.167.3370.XT910.AmericaMovil.en.01 if it matters.
Really? The link I posted is from this forum. Come on. I should be able to undo this flash I've made and really return to fabric settings.
Hello,
I recently flashed CM 11 to my One X +
Was all working fine until I noticed that my SIM contacts are gone. So I decided to change back to Android Revolution HD.
In my wisdom, I flashed the boot.img first and restarted. So now I'm stuck in a bootloop and I can't get out of it since the phone does not
go into fastboot anymore.
The three buttons (back, home and the weird thing on the right) just keep flashing red when I press power + volume down.
Just pressing power has the same effect btw. So I'm completely stuck and hoping for some help?
So you need to force a power off. The lights at the bottom will flash 3 or 4 times alerting you that you are forcing a power down of the device. This is NORMAL.
I recommend holding the power and volume down to try to get it out of the boot loop, and into the boot-loader. Hopefully before you flashed CWM 11 you made a Nandroid backup in your recovery, in which case you can restore it and everything should be A-ok as it will restore the boot.img and the rom along with your contacts and apps.
Otherwise you will need to reflash the Rom as usual. Eventually with a boot loop the device runs out of battery, and will power down on its own. At which point you can (usually) charge it enough to re-flash, via entering the bootloader by pressing power and volume down. Then you can just enter recovery, and flash the rom from there.
Did you load the ROM to the internal memory, if you need to re-flash I hope? If not, then you can push or sideload the ROM via adb.

I recently got my korean Olleh branded V10 as a gift and everything worked fine. But the other day I decided to turn off KnockOn which was annoying me. I locked the phone and proceeded listening to music. But when I wanted to change the track I tried waking it up but none of the buttons would respond. So naturally I tried pulling the battery and ever since then it's in a constant bootloop. I cannot hard reset it because the only thing I can get it to boot in is IMEI Display mode. Im new to LG so im not very familiar with flashing (I can get my way around odin though), so step by step help would be much appriciated.
You're doing it wrong. Turn off the phone. Hold Vol Down + Power. When the LG logo shows up. Release both buttons and quickly press and hold Vol Down and Vol Up buttons.
Good day to all!
I don't know the history of this phone so please bear with me for a while.

I just got an old LG Optimus Lu6800 from a friend and when I turn it on, it only flashes the LG logo with "Security Error" written below. It turns itself off after 3-4 seconds.
I tried turning off the phone and pressed volUp + power and volDown + power to see if I can access emergency mode/download mode, but nothing happened.
I searched for the Stock ROM for Lu6800 but nothing came up useful..
How am I going to fix this?
Please help me. :'(
I have installed Crdroid Nougat ROM to my LG G2 D802 yesterday, everything was fine. After flashing something via recovery phone went dark. When I boot device it shows only LG logo with secure booting error, then the screen goes black while phone is still on. Download mode and recovery wasn't working. When I plug to usb computer was going crazy with device errors. I tried a lot of solutions like this , with ubuntu and windows 10. Nothing worked for me. After a few hours I found a simple solution in a forum. Worked for me, maybe work for others..
Press Power and Vol Down buttons together for about 10 seconds, When you see LG logo release for a half of second and immediately press and HOLD again Vol Down + Vol Up button. Factory reset screen will come. Select yes with vol down button and press power button to factory reset.
