You have compatible CPU. But what about memory? My phone has 290MiB RAM & no Jellybean possible. You have only 250MiB

Problem with my phone is Broadcom (the company which has made BCM21553 CPU of my phone)
is not giving required libraries, so my phone cannot have STABLE jelly bean. (Even we don't have ICS. There is a CM9 version, but it features NO WI-FI, NO SIM CARD, NO 2G/3G, NO AUDIO, NO AUTO-ROTATION...................................................).
But your device has different CPU manufacturer who gave required libraries to Videocon & Developers so you have JB.
I don't know much about that brand, but if some developer from XDA compiles/ports a 4.3 ROM for your device
or Videocon gives official update, then you can have it.
But currently there is no 4.3 for that phone.
And it is also impossible to flash android versions without custom recovery...
Can anybdy help or make cwm recovery for lava 406q? It is 1.2 quadcore snapdragon msm8610. Adreno 302.

Even if your phone is of 8GB version, you cannot use every Bit of the memory.
Here is the total 8GB calculation;
(Almost 99% Accurate)
Built-in Storage = 2.87 GB
(Usable to store pics,vids etc)
Internal Storage = 4.38 GB
(System apps,third party apps,RAM)
--------------------------------------------------------
Total = 7.25 GB
Now,
Total - 8 GB
= 7.25 - 8 (7424 - 8192)
= 768 MB
This 768 MB is used as ROM (Read Only Memory). The System partition of Android is stored here.

Usually with the newer version of android, the partitions are redefined and redistributed. It can be a reason for that.
There is possibility that You can update your phone to KitKat and check weather you get 6GB usable.
IF NOT then you need to swap some memory OR you need to redefine storage partition.
ALSO you can compare your phone with similar phone running KitKat and JellyBean.
Hmm anyway thanks for the info bro
