Can some please help me out! Im trying to connect my galaxy mega with my rooted galaxy gear using bluetooth tethering. Ive looked everywhere on my galaxy mega and I dont have a option for bluetooth tethering on my galaxy mega. Can anyone steer me in the right direction to get BT tethering going on my galaxy mega?

You have to pair the devices before the gear will work.
Yeah I understand you have to pair them, but I dont have an option on my galaxy mega for bluetooth tethering.

Not sure what the problem is. Once the devices are paired, calls, notifications, texts, etc show up on the Gear.

I Don't Care If The 3g Connection Works Or Not But Will Wifi Work ? Or There Is 2 version Of It Like one 3g and the other one wifi?

Tried connecting two separate devices (Galaxy Tab 10.1 and a laptop) with the built in portable wifi hotspot on the international i9300. The devices are able to connect, but I'm unable to browse the web (or skype) with either of the connected devices. Tried with security on and off, no luck. Previously on Galaxy Note, didn't have any issues using the same method. I'm with Rogers and I'm sure they haven't changed their policy in allowing tethering with their data plans. Any help our pointers in fixing this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Shiraz

Hello guys.
I've updated my P7500 to ICS and found out that I cannot tether via bluetooth to my SIII.
It was working fine on Honeycomb. I can see the phone but when I check on the internet access option it does nothing.
Have you experienced this?
Mines works good with my galaxy note.. I can tether via bluetooth from the gtab

No problems here to a Galaxy Nexus
Glad it's working for you. Maybe I'll flash again!
I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy SIII that I was using when I had Verizon service, but now I am on AT&T. I don't have a tablet, so I was wondering if I could just use the phone as a tablet? Will everything work like a tablet? Or does it have to have phone service? I know I can connect to Wi-Fi, but I haven't fully tested the functionality of it as a tablet..I thought I would get some insight/opinions here.
This is the wrong forum, but yes. Just Flash paranoid Android and you can set it up to act like a tablet.
