I'm using an MK802 mini PC. I don't have a USB keyboard yet.
When I plug in a wired USB mouse, I can use that to click on the on screen soft keyboard.
But when I plug in the wireless dongle for a USB mouse, the Android soft keyboard doesn't show anymore (I guess this is because the wireless dongle supports both keyboard and mouse, and tells Android a hardware keyboard is available, so Android doesn't show the soft keyboard).
Any way to ignore this and always show the soft keyboard? Or another keyboard I can download which will always show?
my mk802 has ICS running, so you would just click on the keyboard icon in the status bar and there should be an on/off switch for the on screen keyboard at the top of the menu. it would be the same way you switch keyboards on an ICS phone. hope that helps!
I have a bluetooth touch screen controller that allows me to control my phone via a 7" lcd. The controller shows up as an input device. When I touch the screen, a mouse cursor shows up. Is there anyway, by editing the build.prop ect ect that will allow me to hide the mouse cursor when an input device is attached to the phone?
Im running 4.1.1 on a Galaxy Note 2.
I have a bluetooth mouse and would like to be able to reassign the buttons, is there a way I can do this on Android? Thanks
Hi, I have Redmi Note 3 Pro, all stock no root but I intend on rooting.
When I connect a Bluetooth mouse there's no cursor however the various GUI elements react as though a cursor is being moved over them when I move them mouse. A BT keyboard connects and works fine and the mouse works on other devices.
I found a few other threads reporting the same thing with BT and OTG connected mice. In some cases when users enabled and then disabled Developer options -> Show cursor location they could see the cursor
but this didn't work for me.
Anyone know any setting/method to enable a mouse to be used on Redmi Note 3?
Greetings! I have an Android 4.4 TvBox and need a way to change the speed of the mouse pointer without going into the system settings. It is optimal to do it by pressing the keyboard hot key. This is required for the normal operation of the keyboard joystick that emulates mouse control. For small values, the cursor moves for too long, and for large values it is difficult to get into the controls.
