someone pass me the build.prop from the official rom Jb R2 of the Xperia tablet S and teaches me as a Flash on the recovery through the adb?
1. tab is working properly?
2. have you backup of build.prop
3. tab is rooted?
4. specify country/region
5. did you see these threads:
a) S.onyXT.S v1.0 [UNBRICKER] - Xperia Tab S auto unbricker/flasher!
b) Xperia Tablet S Bricked and revived. Service tools obtained.
6. you can edit build.prop with any txt editor, don't forget backup, and set proper permissions...

just throught I would enclose the generic UK build.prop for mini pro. I replaced my old build.prop with the attached by following the instructions below. everything went well and I now have android 2.1
1. Root the x10 mini
2. Obtain the relevant build.prop file and copy to the sd card using windows or mac os x
3. install root explorer on the phone
4. open root explorer and copy the build.prop file on the sd card
5. Navigate to /system and you will see the existing build.prop file
6. Click paste and it will want to overwrite the current build.prop, click yes or overwrite
When you connect you phone to pc companion it will say that you have the latest update. ignore this and select to repair your phone. It will then download Android 2.1 and you will be ready to go!
whenever i add a new '.so' file ( like libstagefright.so, libc.so,,) then the tab (GT P1000) reboots in a loop. what is the reason for this ?
the steps i followed to build '.so' files are.
i got root access in the tab by modifying the default.prop file
i have busybox ( /sbin/busybox)
then downloaded the source cm7sg from git hub. and built the gingerbread for cyanogen_galaxytab
then in recovery mode ,i used adb to push the cm7sg/out/target/product/galaxytab/system/lib/libstagefright.so to the tab
then the system reboots in a loooop................
U dont write about it: Did u give permissions (rw-r-r) for this files?
Sent using r800i with DoomKernel v11 (1.21ghz)
yes , the permission is the same ..
I'm not into lib files, so i think that only thing i can do to help u is giving this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1525226.
It's a beatsaudio port. Inside .zip are some .so files which are working without bootloops, so i think that they need to do sth to make it working. Maybe u can find sth there
Any integrity checking mechanism for library files (libstagefright / libc) during initialization time such as signature validation, CRC checking, size checking etc?
Hello,
This post can't be said as a tutorial in itself, But is a tutorial shared by a fellow XDA Member. I tested it on our Desire X and I was able to get the init.d active on Stock JB. No need to modify the Kernel since we haven't got the Kernel Sources from HTC yet.
Init.d can be used to start scripts at android bootup.
Refer to this tutorial for enabling it on your device.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1710980
Summarizing that Tutorial, This is what you have to do.
Step 1. Flash the attached ZIPS Easy_InitD_1.1.zip & Init_D_Test.zip from Recovery.
Step 2. Reboot the device.
Step 3. Open Root Browser and go to /data/ folder and check if there is a file named Test.Log.
If it exists then your Init.D is working, Also you will find the init.d folder in /system/etc/ folder.
Hope it helps.
Thanks to Smokin1337 for the original Tutorial.
And this works even with HTC write protection enabled?
EDIT: Didn't read carefully enough... It's flashed via recovery, so it has to work...
delete.
