i was running viperdna sense 4 and i just installed the rom NuSense 5.5(by viperdna i believe) and now it is saying my phone does not have root access. anyone kindly point me in the direction of what to do? ty

You should taken the time to search the thread. I haven't used a Sense ROM in a year, so I didn't know the answer. However, after a search that took no longer than a couple minutes I found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50801477&postcount=830

and.. did u experience any lag with the updated rom?
Another "I found solution for battery" Thread :/
I think these threads should be made at the general section rather than in development.
At least untill we find a guaranteed solution, otherwise this sub-forum is going to be filled with crap
That was just "My" Opinion
Umm i don't think so since the update don't have any fixes for battery drainage on HD2! LOL?

actually same performance with the 7004 version,
i only just notice that it improves my battery, i dont know if this works for others
I've found the solution, maybe.
hd2 to connect my power supply, turn off the system reboots itself, and the battery lasts 2 days.
but I want to test well.
if someone wants to try ...
i updated the rom ,turn off, the system reboots itself. turn off again. i put my batt in a box. now im wondering how long my battery life will be. mod please close this thread.

I also found a solution to battery drainage, although it is a bit different than those above and it lasts for 3 days now!
I found that if you boot into WP7, then launch Android ADB (YES, ANDROID ADB), then type:
connect /dev/wp7
rm batt_stat.dat
Remove the cable WITHOUT CLOSING ADB, reboot the device & run around your home holding your HD2 as high as you can. Believe it or not - this worked for me. Don't ask "why" or "how" - I don't know, I found this trick on some chineese forums.

We need to boil a charger before doing this? Or say some special magic spell?

[Q] What's casing my i777's battery level to drop off occasionally?

Attached is an image showing what I mean.
A few days ago I was taking pictures while listening to music, and the music app locked my phone up. The only way for me to unfreeze it was to pop my battery out. When I did, the battery plummeted to about 15% all the way from about 50%. I'm running the custom ROM GalaxyNexus. But this hasn't just happened to me on custom ROMs-- it happened a few times with the stock ROM, as well.
If anyone could offer some insight, that would be great.
EDIT: I should also mention that I have done some searches for this problem and found a few other threads, although I could never find one that had an actual solution.

No biggie. I Google searched "i777 battery drop after reboot," then hit "more from XDA" to only get results from XDA threads. This is the absolute best way to find answers.

[Q] MeanRom

Well I have been using MeanRom now since version .05 and have been staying up to date ever since, I know I should have posted earlier but just keep running out of time. All in all I think the ROM is very good and has meet all my needs for a base plus ROM, the only issues that I have been having is powering down, some have releases have worked better than other but I have wanted to post up my battery stats but every time the phone re-boots I lose that data. Also if I forget to check the file ‘performance=battery’ it flips back to performance and I don’t realize it for a day or two. I like all the enhancements and look forward to them each time a new one comes out. If anyone has any ideas for what I should check to stop the re-boots I would love to hear, I have done all the recommend full reset and not restoring app data but it still happens. My best battery time is 1 day 4 hours and 33 min.
Still hving issue with re-booting

As of the MeanROM 2.6 update I'm still having re-boot issues, twice since install.. Also why do I have to go in and set "PERFORMANCE" back to "BATTERY"
Thanks

Time is off after flashing Rom's

Ok, so for the last month or so after flashing a Rom the time on my phone will be ahead like an hour and a half. More like 1hr 37 minutes. Usually rebooting the phone gets it resolved, but it is getting a little irritating to look at my phone for the time and think it is later than it really is. It would be funny to leave work an hour and half early though. lol
Anyway, not sure if this is something I should really worry about or what. It doesn't seem to be Rom related. I have had the probelm with AOSP/AOKP, Newt one XxX, Viper, and Neo's Rage Roms. Not sure if recovery would do that or not, but I'm running Amon-Ra, I think 3.15.
Edit: Oh yeah, and when the time is off, if I go to settings/date & time it has the correct time zone of Pacific time and everything. Changing things in there makes no difference. I still have to power off and reboot.
You have it set to use the network values?

yeah, I always make sure that all location services are enabled.
The funny part is that I can see in the date and time settings that it correctly has determined me to be in the pacific time zone.
Same thing happens to me every now and then. Its usually off 40 minutes or so for me. Funny u said id be funny if u left work early cause one day me and my buddy were playing golf and he ended up being 40 minutes late cause my phones time was off again lol. And yup same thing happens to me in the time settings. They all show to be correct and it won't fix without a reboot. Although it hasn't happened to me in the last month or so.

He said he tried it on multiple ROMs, but maybe that was restoring a nandroid.
Try a clean flash.
I doubt that's the problem as I never dirty flash no matter what. I always wipe my ass. And its also corrected with a reboot. I honestly think its just a location problem on Verizon's end...but then again who knows.

Yeah, I always clean flash. I wipe System, cache, and dalvik. Plus Newts One XxX has a wipe script too.
I never enable any location services and haven't had a time problem before.
You aren't pulling system apps before you flash are you? Someone posted about that today but I don't remember who.

I've run into the same thing since I started using viper. All settings are correct, clean flash, no nandroid or titanium. Sometimes it's 40 minutes, sometimes an hour, seems totally random. Never happened until going to the sense 4 ROM. A reboot always straightens it out. Weird.
Weird. I flashed the EclipticRez Rom and it didn't have this problem. Every other Rom I've flashed for a while did, but this one didn't. Must be something in the Rom's somewhere. Not a big deal by any means, easy to deal with.
Yea I have this happening to me right now on my laptop. I fix the time and maybe few hours later or days, it's random it will go back 3 hours. IT"S been pissin me off and I can't or don't know how to fix it. I feel stupid doing this but I google search what time it is so I can find out the time when I'm on my laptop.
