Can Sprint store downgrade to 4.3? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Since losing my Kingo root while going from JB to KK and no apparent way to go back or Kingo root 4.4, does anyone know if Sprint has a way to reload 4.3 Jelly Bean so I can start over? I can't stand not being rooted but I don't want to trigger Knox either.

With the bootloader locked and not being able to be downgraded .... Probably not they would just put you on nab ... We have the leak with engineering bootloader that would allow it but I can almost bet sprint wouldn't have that but in the rom development dept that would be in Kansas City .... stores are pretty much staffed with morons .... imagine Mr Mackey from South park ....." rooting is bad m'kay " .....
Most people who work in sprint stores just don't care enough about tech to read about the phones .... it's just a job to them

I am on NAB stock now but I have read that people have been able to go from NAB to NA4 with the engineering bootloader and then back to MJ4. I have the NA4 engineering tar with the pit and recovery files thanks to micmars. I have tried flashing it over stock OEM NAB with both the stock and the engineering bootloader several times, but it fails everytime. I get a pit file missing error if I don't include it, but I don't know how to add the recovery tar or if it is needed.
If you could provide the steps to accomplish this, I would really appreciate it.

You flashing the engineering boot loader first then booting into nab and then trying to go to na4

Correct, I flashed the OEM NAB, the NAB engineering bootloader on top of it, and then tried to flash NA4 engineering on that. I have seen a few posts where people said it was possible to go from NAB->NA4 engineering->MJ4, but it took them a few tries. If it is in fact impossible I'll give up and wait for Kingo or someone to root NAB without tripping Knox. I'd just like confirmation one way or the other.

So just grab any ruu and just do the rom again.
will that work since i have S-on still or since its unlocked.
Well, you have the 2.11.605.9 radios.
You'll need the 2.11.605.9 RUU, which I can't find it after numerous searches.
Try flashing this.
This is the full RUU for 2.11.605.19
http://goo.im/devs/trter10/PG05IMG.zip
***Credit to Trter10 for this full RUU***
You may have to root again and get s-off, flash the 2.11.605.19 radios, and then try flashing this RUU.
The 2.11.605.19 radios can be found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1605557
I'm not sure if you'll have to do the instructions above or if flashing this RUU will put the radios on there. I'm 99.9% sure this RUU contains the radios as well.

it looks the same to me and still having issues loading roms
how do I get the s-off again with only recovery and clockworkmod
I was able to get back into the 4.0.3 leaked Rom
but a lot of errors come up and not able to enable the USB
i got the Debug working and now the software number says 7.00.605.2 710RD
should i try to re-root now or is there a way to get the stock rom onto the phone

When you flashed it, you should have then tried to unroot.
Right after it was flashed, it should have put you on 2.11.605.19

how would i kick this back to the Ext3 from the ext 4

but know that i broke the screen, i got the new phone and its all rooted and got my rom on it and everything
just the phone i have to return is just jacked and i dont want to get hit with the 150$ non-return fee because its S-on and unlocked and not even a stock rom

Try flashing a stock ruu and an older radio if you're using the leaked radios. The tool can't unroot the ics leak with the leaked radios. I would just download the stock ruu and fast boot flash it. Then try unrooting.

He would have to be s off to flash the other radio. Upgrading to a higher version should work s on. You can't downgrade without s off.

I know i looked for the RUU for about 2 hours last night. every link i tried was down.
is there only one RUU i can use? with the radio im stuck on.
not sure what the fast boot will do for me if the Rom or RUUs are not sticking to the phone after i try to update them
if that makes any sense....im not even sure i understand lol
So what files should i flash to in order to go up to a level that matches to a ROM
This way i can re-root, or do i need to just keep onlooking till i find a .9 RUU to match my radio
so i'm not rooted now because i have S-on. right?
but how do i have clockworkMod installed and can get load a leaked 4.0.3 to load?
All i really want to do is stock this and S-on so can return it lol

Somebody please help stuck in hboot with s-on and **locked** **security warning**

I wanted to unroot my phone i was running nusense's desensed custom ics rom and had the ics radio. I stupidly flashed the original RUU hoping that it will unroot and bring me to stock. This wasn't the case it only locked my bootloader, gave me s-on, and downgraded the radio and failed the rest of the update. The phone is stuck in the bootloader, i tried getting it connect to adb it is not reading my phone. On windows it says unrecognized usb device sometimes and other times it doesnt read it at all. I tried flashing the RUU for froyo and gingerbread but both say update failed main version is older! ....Can anybody help me please! Thank you
Do a battery pull and let it sit, same thing happened to me trying to run the unroot tool from rooted stock. After sitting for ~1 hr, it rebooted fine.

I don't think thats the case because I flashed the froyo RUU when i was rooted and had an ics official custom rom with radio. I can't get past the s-on with **locked** and **security warning** in pink bootloader and cannot get my phone to get recognized in fastboot. so i cant do anything in adb, i think my solution would be to get my phone to correctly register in my computer so i can use htc dev to root again but i cannot get it to get recognized. Any other ideas?

If I put the RUU in the root of my sd card it checks it twice, the first loading bar is blue the second one is green then it says update failed main version is older then asks to reboot and will do the same thing everytime
Try this
http://www.forums.infectedrom.com/showthread.php?p=67914
The reason you can't Ruu is because your main version is higher than that of the Ruu you're trying to use. This needs to be changed so that you can downgrade to flash an Ruu. This may not work since it sounds like a bad flash

The update came in the form of a patch that patches 2.3.6 into ics 4.0.4. HTC is also stopping the distribution of ruus and has even went so far as shutting down sites that distribute them. There will not be an Ruu for the ics ota.

I wouldn't normally correct you, but you do have this a little wrong. They didn't ask him to take down the site because he was hosting RUUs, but because he had a) a domain name that included HTC's name in it (http://htcruu.com), and b) he unknowingly had unreleased RUUs on there. HTC requested he give up the domain name and remove the unreleased RUUs, but they let him continue to host the others, including the custom Sense-based roms. The story is here: http://rootzwiki.com/news/_/article...p-the-ruus-just-give-us-the-domain-name-r1365. Football hadn't leaked anything in a while, but I would bet we still see full RUUs released.

I'll give you that but why would they make every other update an Ruu except this one? Doesn't make sense unless they intend on phasing the Ruu out.
Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2
I'd wait to see, maybe they'll start releasing them along with source.

Maybe but this patched style of updating is way smaller than pushing an ota to everyone. Easily half the size of an ruu.

You do NOT need stock recovery to flash an RUU s-off.
With S-OFF you don't need to do anything. Plug your phone in and run the RUU. I just did this yesterday. All I had to do is flash TWRP and I'm right back to rooted.

can this be flashed on a AT&T HTC One, just left them and love the phone. BL is unlocked, have flashed the T-Mobile radio, but my phone continuously drops to EDGE, then back to LTE and 4G, I thought the baseband puts the frequencies needed for optimal T-Mobile network compatibility, namely the WCDMA 1700....im in NYC and i know they updated the towers here so 4G works on GSM1900, but having that WCDMA 1700 would be best. I guess there are other things T-mobile does to tweak the network i guess on the build.prop or whatever? not sure? any ways, any inout would be greatl appreciated,
just so anyone is confused. this was super easy to do to completely restore to a factory phone.
I was on TWRP w/ ARHD 22 ROM, unlocked bootloaded thru htcdev, S-On. here is all i had to do to flash this (super simple)
fire up fastboot on phone
verify fastboot via cmd (fastboot devices)
enter fastboot oem lock
phone reboots and i now have **Tampered** **Relocked** on bootloader
leave phone in fastboot and run the RUU file and 10 min later
factory phone
thanks all for posting this, I'll be re-rooting and flashing custom recovery soon but so nice to have wifi calling back.

If you flashed the stock one-click or tar (@Rwilco12 or tar in my thread, respectively), you'll most certainly be on the stock bootloader, sans root, completely stock.
You absolutely must flash either of these from a completely powered off state, and may need to flash them twice, to get them to stick.
FWIW, here's the stock NC5 bootloader...

[Q] New to having to unlock bootloader for root - will Nandroid work?

I admit I have a Nexus 7 2012 model, but the very first thing I did when I got it is unlock the bootloader and root as there was already a method, but I got spoiled by the already-unlocked bootloader on the Tmo Note 3.
So having set up my V10 the way I like it finally, I was toying with the idea of rooting it. I know *HOW* to root it, but my question is this:
Since we have to tick the 'OEM Unlock' box in dev settings, and then fastboot oem unlock, which essentially factory resets the phone, can I take a nandroid of the phone *BEFORE* I unlock, and then restore it AFTER and have it like it never happened (except for the bootloader being unlocked, of course)?
Thanks for any input!
You need twrp to nandroid. You can use lg back and restore. It seems to work pretty well.
