Yup, but it involves a few tradeoffs...
If you want it, I can show you how I attained it. It's kind of a wussy way to go, but I'm quite happy with the results.
Here's what I get, dialer and in-call...
Not funky at all...

Thanks bro. I'll check that out, yeah I couldn't figure it out so I started uninstalling a bunch of new apps that I downloaded to see if that icon would stop popping up.
