Isis wallet on rooted device - HTC Droid DNA

Anybody know a way to get the Isis wallet to work on my rooted DNA, I've tried to temp unroot and root cloaking but it still detects the device as rooted. Only reason I care is Verizon just gave me $40 on it for signing up and I just want to use that and then delete but it don't play well with rooted phones.

Delete the root files? Sorry I don't know which files they are, can you give me a quick run through on that.

Downside to rooting?

I really want to root my phone but i would really like to know the pros and cons
Pros are you can use more apps to control your phone, backup all your apps and even use then across android devices (I have a nook color also). There aren't really any down sides, I think the only reason they don't come rooted is do people can't break it as easy on accident.

Use root cloak. Its an xposed module. Hides root from whatever apps you choose

There's a specific ISIS xposed module in the downloads section. Like said before Wanam is a Samsung thing. There's similar modules that can do some of the same things ie Sense 6 Toolbox.
I find it funny folks dont even care the at&t builds running carrier iq again and just putting card info out there...shrugs...call me paranoid but I dont care what they say,a keylogger is still a keylogger....

Nothing has proven that carrier IQ actually sends data (or what data it sends) to the carrier..
Oh it sends data....and correct nobody knows what exactly its sending, but to each their own,I got rid of it all together anyway....and still retained at&t functions to my liking...shrugs

My Verizon still asking for root

Anyone know if the my Verizon Mobile app is still asking for root. I quit using it cause I was suspicious but would like to use it again to monitor data and pay bill.
I don't think so, I side loaded what I think is the latest version and it didn't ask for root.

The code for root check is still in the apk.
Darn. Anyone know why I'm assuming to find something out to use against their users
They just want to know when you void your warranty. You might want to try xprivacy its able to take permissions away from apps.
I wonder if denying root is the same as no root to the app
Does anyone have the last apk before it started asking for root

Android Pay not working on CM10.1 - ROM issue or rooted-phone issue?

I upgraded from Google Wallet to Android Pay for NFC payments today and when I set up my card it gives me the error "Android Pay cannot be used Google is unable to verify that your device or the software running on it is Android compatible" (yes, "Android," not "Android Pay"). Is anybody else running into this? Trying to narrow to down whether this an incompatibility with CyanogenMod in particular or the phone being rooted/ROMed at all.
I'm on stock rooted of1 and getting same thing. I think it's root that's the problem from what I have been gathering off the internet.

You're right, you cannot use Google pay with a rooted phone, I heard that there is an xposed module that hides root so that it be used.

I was able to disable su in super user app then add card and it worked. Then I enabled su again. Still working but haven't tested at store yet. Not sure if disable is available in free su app as I have the paid app.

Stressing over this phone

I need to get in touch with any developers that could use someone willing to donate their ****ty hydro wave for the greater good. I've read and read and read for hours on end now I'm completely fed up. I will need some instruction on how to do some things most likely but please help the masses who have this phone and need the root. I don't care if we end up bricking it at this point I almost want it to happen

Kingroot 4.02 version should do wonders. Google for Kingroot 4.02 Apk download. > Install the app > Open and Click Root.
Make sure your security apps are removed, and must have good internet connection. Let me know if this specific version of Kingroot works for you as well because the latest one failed and this one did wonders.
OK trying now

Not sure why it just gave you temporary root. But still, you got rid of unwanted things and that's good
Yes true but let's say for some reason my phone gets locked or stuck in a bootloop or something. The only way I'll ever be able to do a recovery is through settings Kyocera themselves said that is the only way. Therefore I need full permanent root and eventually a custom rom
