Hi People,
I've installed Samsungs' new Milk Radio but need to change my location as I'm in UK, (only available in US).
Is their any way of being able to change my location to use the app? . . .using ProBam Rom on my GN2

Try Hola Unblocker from the Playstore, or Orbot.
I can recommend hideninja vpn from the play sore as well. I use it all the time with Pandora and it's very simple

I use hideninja for pandora and is working fine but milk isn't working.
Just tried it. I think the issue is its using your Samsung account. You might have to set up a new Samsung account with a USA address. I had to do something similar to get Google wallet working

After reading this you might have to edit the build prop. Change the locale to us and maybe change the name to s4. I'd probably try changing the Samsung account first. Hopefully someone will make an xposed mod for it

Right to get it working outside of usa you need to freeze Samsung account with titanium back up and then use a vpn like hide ninja. Hopefully it can be modded to remove the Samsung account check. Not my find btw found it in one of the usa forums

Hello everybody!
Every time I try to log in to the Samsung app store I get the following error you can see in the attachment.
I've bought an SGS in the UK in September of 2010 where I created my Samsung account and I could download everything OK. About 2-3 weeks ago I bought an SGS III (i9300) from a store in Cyprus. Currently it operates with a Cypriot sim-card and while Google play works fine, I cannot download anything from the Samsung app store and I get the error shown below. I haven't previously tried to use the Samsung app store from the first SGS in Cyprus in order to know if the store is network based.
Does anyone know the solution without the need of rooting or any other system modification? Also if you need any more information please let me know.
Thanks in advance.
Did u choose UK when u signed up?
Have u changed it to Cyprus?

Lol and I've only just looked at the screenshot. It's quite self explanitory. U need to be connecting to the Cypriot market. Not UK.
Did you know what apps your after? I'm sure if they aren't on the Cypriot market that Google may be able to assist you

Thank you for your reply!
Yes I've chosen UK as it is the country I want. I'm going back to the UK to continue my studies on September and I want to use the UK store. As the screenshot says, when I set up my account for the first time I've chosen UK and I want to keep on using the UK store. I'm sure that many things in the Samsung app store would be on Google Play, but e.g. Polaris office is free for SGS3 therefore there is no reason for me to pay for it.
Open a new account with Samsung's and use Cypriot market. Or.... read the last line of my last post again

Thanks again for your reply but I wish to use the UK market (where already some apps are on my account), and as I've stated before I want to get free apps that are not free on Google Play
I don't think you can in another country

Hello,
I bought a new indash for my truck the Sony xav-601bt and it supports mirrorlink technology for gs3. Pretty much the unit becomes an extension of your phone all the way down to playing angry birds on it if you wanted to. However I cannot connect it and after searching and speaking to numerous Sony tech supports that had no freakin clue of what to do I found that Samsung neeeds to release the app for it to be compatible. If anyone has it or runs into it I would appreciate it if you posted it here. Its supposed to be released on 8/29 from a rumor I read. It goes by the name Samsung drive-link I believe. Any help is much appreciated

I have the same problem - I installed a xav601-bt in my car wanting to use mirror link. Google maps is so much better than the $2000 nav unit in our brand new Honda Odyssey ... but I digress. I saw that Sony-asia has released a firmware update for the unit. Took my chances and installed it (NOTE THIS: had to take off the faceplate and press reset to get it out of the reboot loop) installed fine but neither the "mirror link" nor "telenav" app work. Properly. USB device not recognized. I understand I need an app for the phone. Mirror link or drive link. This will be perfect if they get it to work - I want my Google nav to display on my head unit. Controlling it would be bonus. C'mon Samsung, get it going!
One nice thing I did find though if you pair your phone with bluetooth then click on Bluetooth settings for sony automotive you can enable not only calls but audio and that way you can still listen to everything that goes on in your phone such as spoken turn by turn navigation, music, YouTube, Netflix, etc. Still can't wait for official rollout though. I wonder how they will get around the "USB device not supported" error message when plugging in via USB

I have a Galaxy S2, and just bought a XAV-701BT. The guy at the store said that I would be able to use mirror link with my GS2 when the app was released at the end of this month, but from what I am reading it looks like it will only work on the GS3.
Does anyone know if I will be able to use mirror link on the GS2?
I have already installed the new firmare on the XAV-701BT

It seems you need a UK account to download the app. I will try to make a fake one later to try and download it.
Edit: I made a UK account but I still can't download any apps when I try to log in with the Samsung app it says account does not match country. I tried to change the time zone in Settings to UK and that didn't work. If we could get someone from the UK to download the app and upload it for us it would be great

Hi all,
Have the above problem and can't find the answer to it. I have tried loads of different roms and none of them allow me to access YouTube via the official app. I can view videos via the website and using rolles YouTube app but not the official app. I have just updated my mum's s3 to jellybean using the official update non rooted and YouTube works fine.
Is It something to do with being rooted, running a custom Rom or something completely different?
How can I solve this, any help would be great.

You're not alone. I've been suffering with this for months now. I'm not on an S3 but on a Galaxy Nexus.
I'm currently running AOKP JellyBean M1 having the same issue. Can't remember if I had the problem on stock because that was back in January.
Google say they can't help and Vodafone say it must be the phone as there are no issues. I believe it has something to do with being a root user.
Very annoying as at work and home I get full HSDPA with unlimited data and I can't even make full use of it.
Over WiFi is fine, just on mobile internet I get the problem so clearly a conflict with Vodafone UK.
If anyone still having issues on this matter its because your fast dormancy rule is wrong when you are on custom roms.
edit the build.prop so that the value is =2 and reboot your phone.
ro.ril.fast.dormancy.rule=2
=1 means enabled
=0 means disabled
=2 means vodafone setting

Hi Pengu,
There a few things going on here that XDA doesnt fancy.
First is that we need more info, because what rom are you running?
Second you should link the app because i cant find it at ease.
But more importantly you should read the forum rules first and post this in the Q and A section, not here.
I cant test this for you because i cant find the app in the playstore.

Sorry my bad. It's a UK app. Probably should of said that. So only people from the UK can test it (and view it in the play store). Its a very well know services in the UK. That's why I didn't link it (it comes pre-installed on many devices here in the UK including the S3 if you got it from a UK network provider).
I just wanted to know if it has stopped working on the stock firmware. If it's not working on the stock, then it's just broken.
