Looking for medication app - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi there,
I'm trying to find a medication app to keep track of what meds I take, how often, the doseage and if, a link for each medication if i need to look out up for side effects and all that medical jargon.
Can anyone please recommend me an app for this if one exists?
Thank you,
Whiteice

Multiple Market Account Purchase problems

Hey guys, been having this problem that's been killing me, so I'll run it by everyone, and hopefully I can get a better idea of what's going on.
1. I purchased Titanium Backup Pro KEY from the marketplace using ONE gmail address.
2. I don't use the above address anymore *(Plus my gChat contacts are with another email address).
So, any way to get the apps from account #1 into my #2 gmail account?
Bump, still need help. Thanks.

No, there is no way to do it.. It isn't a "Problem"
It just wasnt made to do it that way.
And I'm asking for a way to add or transferapps from one account to another.
Am I being asinine or is saving money from not having to buy all my apps all over again on another account just being too old fashioned?
AS far as I'm concerned, yes it is a defect.
I'm not asking for am opinion on the matter, I'm asking for a solution.
Thanks.

You may not always get the answer you would like to hear.
But like I said.. You can't transfer apps to other accounts.
No solution.
Not a defect.
Just not made that way.
Like the other guy said, Welcome to Android!
Sigh, okay, I tried. Thanks for both of your input. I'll give google a call.
Much appreciated.

Google App Inventor Working?

Ok guys, I know this might be a bit pathetic for all of the amazing things that happen here, but I'm new to development and would like to slowly get involved. I know Google App Inventor might only be for children under 9 but I was hoping it might give me a starting point. I have tried all of the help available on the website but have not been able to get it working with my Atrix. I would really appreciate some help and guidance to get it up and running. Also if you have other resources or suggestions (getting away from Google App Inventor), they would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

[SERVICE] Requesting Setups

Hey guys. I am a pretty big enthusiast when it comes to theming my Galaxy Player. I just love to do it. And in my time of theming android, I've seen people with amazing screens and I tell myself, "I will stop at nothing until I get that setup the way I want it. " And usually, I end up with the results I want. And I bet heavy theme addicts have also thought the same thing. Well here, I am posting because I want to help in some way. If you see a setup somewhere that you really like, or have seen some of my setups, post them here on this thread with a link to where you saw the setup and I will try MY HARDEST to replicate them and actually TELL YOU how I got it to look that way. If this is successful, then I will continue to keep this service going with possibly more themers like me joining in helping me out. I will have this service for both the Galaxy Player 5.0 INTL/USA/KOR AND Galaxy Player 4.0 INTL/USA/KOR. And if people don't like this idea, I will happily take this thread down. Thanks guys.
NOTE: Please give as much credit as possible to the artist of the setup you wish me to copycat. Failing to give proper credit will result in you not getting your setup.
NOTE: Please only post setups that are only free. An example, if someone uses a widget locker theme but you don't have widget locker then just don't post it until you buy the app. I have already bought a ton of apps like this and you should too if you really like it.
NOTE: Please do not post warez or I will have to report you. Do not post links or files related to cracking apks either.
Thanks and I hope you guys enjoy my service!!! Starting tomorrow I will be posting my current setups once a week every Friday. I am constantly on the move. Thanks again!

[HACK] tip...how to get $25 google play credits for free

OK this is a work in progress as always
I'm not responsible for what you do to your device so if you brick your fancy phablet its not my fault
MOD EDIT
Gents, Google will be very annoyed when they catch user, trying to work the system....Those may also lose their Google accounts.
Just an FYI, and don't let me see links to crack version apps, This is a Warning, and if you do not understand, Read the Forum Rules.
Thanks

You don't exactly tell anyone what roms this works with, I was using CM 9.1, and only just now realized it wouldn't work after fiddling with it for 20 minutes. More of a heads up would be appreciated in the future.

Lord knows, I'm not Lilly white...I'm not judging anyone....but something about this seems particularly wrong here....
I mean HERE...AT XDA...where we have devs toiling away on this open source platform..kinda provided by Google...
I know..I know, Google is not some small struggling upstart and some of you want to stick it to the man
...
I just can't get my head around sticking it to THIS man.....
Now if he lived in Cupertino...well ...I'd be all for it of course...
Haha Ok guys I'll take it down I though it was cool but I guess not sorry guys if anyone else didn't get to see this .....

How to program Android apps

I've never programmed an Android app before, but a few years back I did do a bit of Java programming on my PC. I'm looking for recommendations on a book that gives step-by-step instructions on how to program apps using the Eclipse IDE. I have tried the training found here:
http://developer.android.com/training/index.html
but I need a lot more details on the fundamentals with lots of examples.
Pete
For a start you shall use mit app inventor by google

Need help with the android API
I love android and more importantly, would love to develop for android . But the problem is I need some help on how to develop apps for android. Developer.Android is great, but there's no one for doubts and there are things that I cannot understand directly by looking at the code and other given info. I love XDA community because of their love for development, and I trust people at XDA for providing the right help.
I could really use some help on the issue, where do I look for getting familiar with API and every thing else to finally develop an app?
I am not asking for some complete guide books or something else like a complete tutorial (maybe yes but i think the they are hard to find and are not that substantial), just a happening place where there is some substantial material that offers a little more help on what developer.android has for develop.
Just let me know what's the best way for me to continue, even if it is sticking with developer.android and trying to understand it !!

Thanks. I will try out the MIT App Inventor. Just curious, how does it compare with the Eclipse IDE for developing Android apps?
Pete
MIT App Inventor it is just for a start! You can t do very complicated things but it is the best for learning the basics...it has virtual emulators, some useful tutorials, you shall take a look

Thanks. I tried the first tutorial. It was fun, but seems like a game! I think I really need to get back to the Eclipse IDE and learn how to use it. Anyone have other suggestions to help me understand the fundamentals of Eclipse.
Pete
I started with this. http://thenewboston.org/list.php?cat=6
you can use eclipse with android sdk of course. :fingers-crossed:
if you want to make games with 3d or something like that you can use unreal or unity.

Thanks for the tutorials! I'm in the same boat. I'm wanting to learn to develop, and the android and java sites leave some things a little unclear (to me anyways).
I built an app in one day, only resources were the Android developer website and StackOverflow.
I am 15 years old...
It's easy. If you want to do something, just search it on google. I had 0 java experience before!

Well you won't know it.
It is for Dutch students in my state/province/region. It is used for checking school schedules, check if student can stay at home (because a teacher is sick or w/e) and save schedules for offline usage.
ATM, my app is limited to support only 5 schools, wich are 10k students. It has that limit because the headmaster forbade me for the time being...
Anyway, it has a pretty neat layout and dus what it's supposed to do
