Hi someone asked me to help on porting Carbon to moto x. So i went ahead and made a Unified Moto_msm8960dt build. at this moment i really don't want to take on a another project but i did decide to make a build to see if people really want it. i like many options when it comes to roms but i don't want to maintain another thread..i may ask a carbon member to take on this device for nightlies and i can help every so often.

Yeah...and to think...I'm porting AOKP and Paranoid JB to the Atrix as well (which I don't own) as well as MIUI to Atrix and Samsung Infuse...LOL
My JB fav is CNA. This one looks to have some nice options, but right now, CNA has integrated the most features, and has excelllent battery life. However, the Camera experience is a little lesser compared to AOKP. Xenon was really nice mix of the 2, but is missing things like screenshot, which I think should be one of the first functions on a rom....LOL

you are right but i just tested two themes ( uber jelly and arctic grey or something, they both work). because the resolution is HDPI, all cm10 themes should work afaik.
I installed this earlier. Looks a really nice rom with loads of features etc. One problem: the Android keyboard app was not present - the only input method was voice (I don't really fancy shouting out my passwords ). I tried restoring the keyboard from TiBu but no dice - it would just hang. Is anyone else seeing this or have I done something stoopid? Thanks in advance.

I was being lazy and I used the gapps from the bean stalk rom which I already had downloaded. Which are basically the full slim gapps. It's a 4.3 ROM so I figured it would work. I like the dark out of the box. There is a theme in vanir that inverts though. Not the true slim dark toggle, a system theme gets you to the same place though. You could also download the latest 4.3 gapps from goo.

I see that there is a 1058 listed . that's a BL LOCKED. right? Is this OK with SS?
Sent from non rooted motoX :'(

I'm hopeful we can get this working on after 4.3 drops. Looking forward to PA4. Stock seems so inadequate.
This is interesting. Keep it up

I just hope that the touchless control can be incorporated somehow. I use that and the active notifications all the time.

Touchless control, the active notifications, and the camera shake! Looking forward to trying this out. I think stock isn't all that bad to be honest. Just missing PIE and HALO. BTW.....how are they? Hows the rom in general, any issues so far?

If you dont like getting screwed you should have saved up for a DEV edition....I'm pretty happy with just root.

Patience people, patience. Stuff doesn't happen overnight. Things are still being learnt, and tested. Also....Verizon/At&t peeps need to realize that their stuff is WAY more complicated. If you can't be patient, I'd recommend switching to a bootloader unlockable carrier. Or trade up when Nexus comes. Patience.
