GsII Root
First you need to find the correct place your ROMS are located in this forum, you may have to search a bit for your Carrier Branded GsII. For example the GsII for Sprint is called the Epic 4G Touch. Dont get the wrong version for your phone or it could cause you problems as each carrier has a special hw version of each line of phones regardless if the manufacturer is the same.
You can user ODIN and load a stock-rooted ROM on the phone. Then use CWM once you get it rooted to load updates or new ROMS.
i got the international version, can you help me how i can root it ? its android 2.3.6

Hey guys I live in New Zealand and I recently bought myself a Galaxy S3, only to find that it wasnt an i9300 but an i9300t.. and I am unsure as to whether its safe for me to flash Cyanogenmod to it.. i've already rooted and installed TWRP on it but im just not sure if itll be compatible..
Ive done plenty of research online about this but some say it will work and some say it wont.
I just need a straight answer for myself!
thanks guys :good:

It's Possible... They have really little difference but you may have a little bugs and unstabilty...
I am also from nz and have the T version. Installing CM and other 9300 roms will be fine.
The only diff is that the T is tuned to favour the 850mhz band
Hello, im new to the android stuff.. but not that new to smartphones, i had installed 4.3 to my phone, and then installed the new kitkat 4.4 CM11 not without making a backup before with CMW, i disliked the 4.4 so i went into to restore my 4.3 backup but somehow it wasnt there, so now im stuck to 4.4 and I really wanna downgrade to 4.3 or even 4.1.2 but i have been reading around and all see is that my at&t can get "brick" and i really dont wanna get into there.. anyone can help me?
