@manojkumar8552 is going to try to port this Rom today. Everyone knows that it's one and that same h/w spec but no one has tried even once.
Manoj is trying it finally. He is aware of consequences but still going ahead with the experiment.
What do you think @Jaspreet_Singh? Did you try to do this.? No updates from you from a long time.Have you left the development.?

I am a sgs2 user. My sister is using i8552. But shame on you win users!! If n7000 (note1) got 4.2.2 update our devs start porting it to our i9100 right away (because of same chipset). There are few devs you got I know but my word is on their lazyness! Also testers did not share anything here. I am a tester. I have a SUPERBRICK BUG eMMC but still I am testing even TRIM enabled kernels. I am doing it just for I am a part of developement and a part of xda. I can wait for someone to do dirty job but I don't!! MAKE I8552 A BETTER PHONE. :highfive:

Would you be able to help with testing the phone? Let us know if you can. And if it's your sisters phone and you can't, please keep yourself away and keep playing with your S2. Quattro has got Very limited developers who trying very hard to make cm11 work. And they are so far successful in making bootable and well working cm11 with just audio and camera not working. So it is yet not fully stable. Experienced devs are not keeping their hands on the development of the phone and they find very tedious and not worth it. So, we are doing with what we've got. Testers are doing their job as well. We already have many custom Roms if you need to take a look. All have some or other best features. And I don't know which Devs and testers you're referring to but if you are so much worried please join in testing cm11 builds when new builds get posted on it's thread. Devs who know the project from start are busy with studies and exams. We are not here to force them to work despite of their some other important stuff. I would advise you to come forward if you can help or let us continue at our speed. Let us be as lazy as you say we are. I'll personally inform you once we get stable cm11. Till then enjoy your s2.

But this is a quallcomm phone. How can it be more difficult than exynos (closed source) phone? Quallcomm cipsets are opensourced am I right?

just try searching for other universal GApps or download them from the slimroms webpage
Alright. I'll give the Paranoid Android Nano 4.4.4 gapps a try.
Did some searching for "universal gapps", and didn't find much in the way of ones that specifically said "universal", but the Paranoid Android ones say this should work on all custom roms. If anyone has any different suggestion, please let me know, otherwise I'll just give these a try. Thanks.

Will you wait???????? the ROM is not booting meaning it does not start up meaning you can't even use it. Wait like the rest of us until the OP fixes that issue then uploads it so everyone can try it.
We are all anxious to try lollipop just as much you are but this a fairly new android version and even some up-to-date flagship devices still don't have even a beta version so just chill out and relax.

Did you do a clean install (wipe data, cache, dalvik cache)? Did you restore any system data or apps with adb or titanuim etc.? Lastly, are you sure your copy of the ROM is good and wasn't currupted in any way while downloading? Things like that can cause the problems you're having.

You can consider Note 2 for base because Note 2 and N3N are almost same in config and specs

First version will be 4.4.4 because Samsung provide us kernel source code for this version and it is close to the stock version.
When this version done I will try lollipop.

That is great news indeed. I was quite bummed to see no N3N in the official CM12 supported devices list. I don't get it. This is a brand new 2014 device yet bizzare old phones like Evo 4G is in the official CM12 list.

It is very strange, yep, we don't have the right support for this good device, few customs rom (that exist thanks to the effort of few developers that decide to create something) .. i hope that the situation will change in the next future but it's not so easy, maybe there is not the sufficent marketing and selling of note 3 neo in the global market, so the poor diffusion maybe is the reason of this situation.

What I'm saying is, or asking, is if somebody with a sgs3 i9300 is willing to try/test a 4.4.4 KK i9305 based rom ported for trelte MO i9300 with a 6.0.1 touchwiz marshmallow UI / framework.

I thought somebody would jump at it tbh! ! No worries anyways had problems writing the installation/permissions script with dsxds kitchen so I'm having a go with Ricky's Rom Kitchen instead. Offer still stands though to anyone with a S3i9300 and a bit of experience with custom recoveries. I.e. flashing zips. PM me if you like or simply reply on this thread. Thanks

Hey, I'd test your rom But in my opinion people wouldn't stick to 4.4... that's a pretty old version.

It's only 4.4.4 base as that's the newest anyone can port from as far as stock TW is concerned. I used a official stock rom for the s3 gti9305 lte as that's had the KitKat update and obviously our i9300 didn't as the phones both have the same chipset etc the rom can be ported. But the rom itself is almost identical to 6.0.1 Marshmallow like note 5 and S6 on Marshmallow. I had quite a few bugs and script errors so I've changed kitchens and I have all day and night today free to do this. Hopefully finish it tonight and I will get back to you. Thanks for your reply/interest.

I've been threw them all cm12 - cm12.1 - cm13. Resurrection remix, temaseks, archidroid etc. There are some really good customed roms but I need touchwiz for the MHL - HDML cause the cm builds don't have the right Samsung USB port drivers. So I went searching for the best touchwiz mod and there are some good ones. I'll send you the download URL once I've done it. Just want to make sure its right.
Edit: might be tomorrow now. I'm shattered. Doing for another 2 hours then stopping until tomorrow afternoon

To be perfectly honest with you, no one disrespects you as well as your development in making ROMs. They are angry/agitated as you aren't working on the ROM they had high hopes for. Also to make matters worse you are not allowing others to continue the port. So they are behaving like these.
Anyways it's your wish whether you'll continue the MM TW ROM project or to give others permission to do it as it's your hard work which made the ROM to boot at first place.

Bro he is the one who booted Android N n TW MM on g2 no other dev would do that for such a outdated device n the op who is saying that he can port , he cannot do that just talks **** n nothing else n its better that he moved to another device which is far better than ours at least he will not waste his time n will apply all the knowledge which is worth it All the best adi :good:

Bro there are many other developers who have booted Android N on older devices. Checkout HTC HD2. It's 7 years old I think. Waste time? Lol. He will learn more while building for older devices. Maybe the guy in the OP can't do it, but some other people might as well can. He says people don't appreciate him, just look at his thanks count. Infact he is being thanked for the ROM(MM) which he is refusing to share. Knowledge is worth when it's shared. If Google hadn't made Android open source, none of us would have been getting anything. People all over the world have shared their knowledge and which is why we are here. And even if someone does succeed in building the ROM, people are only gonna praise Aditya cause they know he's the one who made it possible. Infact if I'm able to do it, I'll ask Aditya only to make the thread. I don't need thanks or appreciation. I just want people to have what they deserve. Just think about what I said.

Wht the hell do u think abt Adi.....He iz the person who booted soo many awesome roms and made most of the roms stable !
He was working on TW MM rom from nearby 2 months and he got it booted also !
And if he dont want release it soo wht matters !
Port the roms and boot it by urself !

The TW MM dev used his soo much time in developing roms for G2 !
He paid for his vps, net, and all his necessary things for making roms !
No ome even think that how much hardwork he do to make a rom boot and stable !
For those who r saying they can port and boot TW MM.....Do it !

Adi is the best and nobody can say him anything he is the one who took grand 2 ROMS seriously and took it to nougat and now if he doesn't want to release his next ROM so what...use his other awesome roms and people saying **** about him...adi dont give a damm ! He is the best that's it and if he wants than only he will come back to grand 2.

I've noticed that activity in our forums has decreased quite significantly .
So my question is , are there any devs active , or anyone in need of a tester ?
That is all.
It seems like important devs like runner are inactive, even though people still release new nougat roms but the won't be anyone to fix the bugs on the oreo rom :/

We can try to fix/improve Nougat ROMs and such , maybe try to port/build Miui as many users want it .
