Will flashing a rom change the Cwm version

I'm currently using galnet miui rom which has Cwm touch version and it seems to be giving me a error when I try to flash the original miui rom.
I've had this before and it was down to the Cwm version.
My question is if I flash a rom containing the normal Cwm version ie not touch. Will it change the version of Cwm?

[Q] Roms and Mods for 4.2.2 Leak (but NO working Recovery)

Ive recently found that a recovery hasnt been created for the 4.2.2 leak so whats the point in having flashable mods?
recovery has no connection to the ROM, it's a separate operating system, so a recovery works will all ROMs
U are confusing kernel with recovery

Yup. I think he had an S2 previously which possibly didn't have a separate recovery partition and was therefore part of the kernel?
Yes it can be the case

[Q] ROM Manager will not flash recovery

Hey all
I'm trying to use ROM Manager to install the newest ClockworkMod recovery (I currently have an older version of TWRP that has some issues with Android 4.3 ROMs), however, when I tell ROM Manager to flash ClockworkMod it tells me that the flash was successful but when I boot into recovery I still have TWRP. I'm assuming that I'll probably need to flash it manually via ODIN, but if there is another way that would be preferred.
Thanks guys
There is an adb way I think cwm can't be done in rom

changing recovery???

i am currently using philz recovery on my N7100 and now i want to switch twrp in order to flash 4.4.x roms so how do i change my recovery ????
If there is a flashable.zip just flash in recovery like a ROM, if it is packaged to be flashed in Odin then use Odin or hiemdal, the xda thread for the note2 should have all info along with download for you

Yes, you can say that they are same . The difference is that Philz Recovery is an advanced version on CWM . It's also a touch recovery whereas CWM is not a touch recovery . Yes, you can flash any zip with all the three recoveries . The results will be the same .
Don't forget to press the thanks button!!!!
