I am having Micromax Canvas Juice A77 with original JB 4.2.2 onboard (not rooted).
Since 3-4 days my wifi is behaving strangely.......whenever connected...it immediately turns to grey but I am able to browse or use all application except Google apps like play store...
I tried to try following tips/directions posted in the forum but none it worked for me.
1. clear cache of all google apps.
2. clear wifi and re-connect
3. put phone on Flight mode for 1-5 mins and turn to normal profile
4. deleted/uninstalled all apps from unknown source (downloaded from other places than play store)
One thing I noticed that when I logged in to my google play account and tried to see devices linked, it showed that NO DEVICE IS LINKED so I even tried to re-log in to the linked google account from device and computer but still my linked device is not reflected in accounts !
Tried to set location sharing on even with GPS but still problem is same...grey wifi with no support to play store which says 'No connection Retry'
Please help me out...

I have an Evo 3D.
This is driving me nuts, I seem to be unable to download app updates anymore. It attempts to download forever, the progress staying at zero, and eventually gives me error 495.
I tried Googling this, and attempted every solution I could find. I tried signing in and out of my google account, clearing the cache of ALL my apps, rebooting my phone, turning off my WiFi, and clearing more space. Nothing worked.
It appears there's something wrong with the Google Play service, I can't download any apps when connected to Wifi, and there are others having the same issue.
I have had this issue for a long time now. I just used to decide that I'll wait till i get home and download over WiFi (which worked).
But that's not a solution!!!
On my JellyBean One X:
1. Go to Settings
2. In Wireless and Networks, tap on More
3. Select Usage
4. Tap on Menu in top-right corner and make sure Restrict background data is not ticked
5. Also, uncheck Limit mobile data usage (a message appears saying that all background data restrictions will be disabled).
It is the background data restriction that causes this issue (atleast for me).
I had done the whole shabang:
Clear google play cache, data, etc. re-login with Google account, reboot, etc.
I have a Huawei Honor X1 (503L version B007) and live in northern Europe.
I noticed that, although I have turned on the settings to share my location, I can't see my device in Google Dashboard.
In the past weeks there is one moment An hour or so at 03:00 AM that my phone shows up in Google dashboard, but that's all.
Also my weather apps do not seem to find the location I am at or take a long time to switch to the correct location (time to check is set to a low interval).
GPS works fine. Internet through WIFI and data connection work fine and calling or receiving calls is no problem either.
I have tried reinstalling some Google play services with a GPS spoofer installed and all that but it doesn't seem to help.
I read about the 503L, because it's meant for the Asian market, has a different frequency for cell towers. Could this be the problem for the apps not being able to locate my device?
Are there Google services I should have installed for this service to work? (I have Playstore, Google now, mail and sync).
Is there a ROM (being) developed that i could use to 'Europeanize' my phone? (base language English, Google apps installed, frequency correction etc.)
I think there are various issues with this phone. I have the 7D-501U and I note that it too does not properly keep the location up to date. It also fails to run various services at startup, despite them being marked as "allow to run at startup". They can also get shut down if started manually. Basically, I think Huawei has been too aggressive with their power saving tricks.
Hello. As I mentioned in the title, I have an orange wifi and mobile connection icon for a few days. Sometimes it turns back white, but the issues are still there. Internet works, but Google Play Store says "No connection" or connects and gets stuck at "Downloading" app (downloading new app or even updating current app). Also, some apps have trouble connecting, some of them (i.e. Google Chrome, Skype, Facebook) work perfectly with no issues.
I tried:
-Rebooting many times. Rebooting to safe mode - same issue.
-Stopping app & deleting cache and data from: Google Play, Google Play Services, Download Manager, Google Services Framework.
-Uninstalling all updates from Google Play Store. After that, it did not update itself.
-Checking hosts file - everything is ok.
-Removing and adding my Google account.
-Restarting the router.
-Booting into recovery and wiping Dalvik, Cache.
These issues have never happened before. I think it's something with google apps/services, but none of the above fixed it.
I have Samsung Galaxy S3 mini running CM 11 (Kitkat 4.4), rooted. (It worked for a long time without any issues)
Anyone has any ideas? Have you encountered this problem before? I don't want to do the factory reset, but I think it's the only option.
Hello,
I noticed a problem on my LG V30 H930 on Android 9.
Some apps won't load data over wifi networks (e.g my home wifi, sometimes in hotel), but not all (it works at my college, or in public wifi in shops), or they load very slowly.
For example Twitter : it plays videos or pictures only after 1 or 2 minutes of loading. However there is no such issue when I go on twitter.com in my web browser (on my phone).
Google Play Store : Downloading apps is stuck, it stays pending download for 5-10 minutes (sometimes forever). So I don't get updates whenever they are available.
Some games get stuck at the login step with my google play games account.
I have an Internet Speed widget showing only a few Bytes/s whne these apps get stuck, compared to 2-3 MBytes/s when everything is working fine
I don't have these problems using 4G
So I don't know if it is a network issue or the phone.
Do you have any idea ? Thanks
Are you using VPN? Try with that turned off if possible.
Please do hardware test using *#546368#*930# , kindly check if wifi test returns passed.
Hi! I am not sure if this is the same wifi bug that everyone is reporting. But please hear me out. I have been using my RN9s for over 2 months now. No issues whatsoever. Then yesterday I picked up my phone connected to my wifi then showed me this notification "This wifi network has no access to the internet". The weird part is that I can get online with every apps in my phone except for gaming app that requires internet connection and I am unable to update and download any apps from playstore. Here are the steps I did to try and fix the issue. Restart phone, power off completely, clear cache for playstore and apps that are not accessing internet and master reset the device. I did ask friends and workmates who are using the same ISP and they dont encounter any issues like mine. Restart, power off completely and master reset my modem/router as well but to no avail. Any thoughts? Thank you!
