In your opinion what do you think is the best calander/reminder app? I need to be able to easily sync between my note 14 and z1 ideally with a see through widget? Thanks in advance nuffz
I like Pocket Informant. It syncs with Google calendar too.

I like digical. They have many widget options. I use this layout on my note 3.

"Cal" by the Any.Do team. While you're at it pick up "Any.Do" too. A mail and note app seem to be on the way.
Cal has a good looking widget, but it isn't transparent. The best looking (and transparant) widgets are "Today" and "Event Flow" IMO. I personally use the latter.
To make it a bit easier, the links to the apps in the store:
Cal (App)
Today (Widget)
Event Flow (Widget)
Any.Do (Bonus )
Jorte. Awesome widgets too. W/Opacity setting.

This. Been using it for years on my phone.
I resisted it for a long time. But it does so much - can't look back.

The best feature of Samsung Galaxy note is its detailed and huge screen. The screen is 5.3 inches wide and has promising 1200 x 800 pixels resolution. This makes Note an apt instrument for clicking pictures, running videos and games, and other applications. The best bit is that despite such size, the phone is not heavy at all. It is only 9.6 mm.
and, what is the reason you started a thread like this?
Thanks for the info!!!

My screen has smudges, it needs detailed.
This made my day.
After I read the op, I took a look at my Note and smiled.
-Once you go NOTE, you'd say 4 inches a Joke
[Lady]: "How do you carry that huge phone in your pocket?"
[Note User]: "I'm used to having huge stuff in my pants"
Oh my god so that's the screen size of my phone!! I did not know it was this huge!
9.6mm is not heavy at all too!

This sounds dumb :silly: , but I did not realize that the HD version of the xda app was compatible with the S4 (at least officially). So far, it has been great...way better than that tapatalk 4 abomination. It has the more modern interface (action bar) without the scrolling issues, the stupid settings access, nearly unreadable forum layout, etc. And it is on sale for a buck right now.
sold me. just bought it.
i bought the tapatalk one you referenced and did not care for it.

XDA HD is the niceness. Use it daily. I've actually stuck with PA-based roms (PA, PAC-man, etc.) or leveraged some Xposed AppSettings DPI tweaks to make it work on any device I am using. This was all done after I paid for the regular premium app and realized I would never use it. Regardless, HD does everything I have ever needed it to. I can't think of something it doesn't do that the regular version does.. outside of being less awesome.
I just bought the HD version and I have to say its a lot nicer that the free version

Need to ask the developer of ClockQ to make the fonts a higher resolution again (same happened when 1080p devices started appearing).
Wallpaper = SwampWater Live Wallpaper
Clock = ClockQ Premium (free version available)
I was very near to installing ADW Launcher as I've never had a good experience with TouchWiz but I feel that this is acceptable, with 4 other screens for various note/calendar widgets and a few more folders for Games, Chromecast, S Pen Apps and system apps. Dare I say it, I'm actually happy with TouchWiz now!

sure thing. Zooper widget Pro. You can get the normal version too.
The best part is that you can actually customize everything to your liking . suchas , if i press the 2 dots between the hours and minutes, i can go to clock, or change it to open any shortcut or app i want to. you can also resize, change color. Everything you like
Now changed background
And now i have changed the background and the fonts of the clock

Buzz launcher. I think it might as well qualify as the Most Customizable Launcher of all . That's way there are 1000+ of themes, because anyone can create one . Then after choosing one you can actually keep customizing it even more at your liking.

It's funny my sprint version is missing most of the stock LG apps including gallery messaging calendar email calculator music and God knows what else. Google messenger was preloaded so I'm not sure if this is planned or a bug or just pre release software. Technically sprint isn't supposed to sell these until Friday.
