Problem with CSC after flash via ODIN - Galaxy Ace S5830i Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey Guys.
I have a (big?) problem with stock firmwares.
I'm using ODIN v3.07.
I have to tell you, i tried this proccess many times, and they are all concluded well.
But the last time, when ODIN flash the firmware successfully, my 5830i goes to recovery mode to install the CSC file: the message is the following:
Code:
--Appling Multi-CSC --
E:Failed to read code file (Operation not permitted)
Installation aborted.
I tried with another firmwares, another ODIN version, installing a Custom Rom before trying ODIN again. No way to solve it. What do you think about that?
PS anyway, the phone works fine, i think. The firmware is installed, no bootloop, no chrases, seems all ok. But i want to know what the hell is that error.

no one?

have you tried using Odin3 v1.87 for Samsung Galaxy Ace-i ??

[Q] sgs2 rom issue

hey guys can some one help me out.
i bought a stock sgs2 from bell in canada had it unlocked and is now on rogers. i wanted to load some custom roms so i used a root file cf root ugks2 and it roots my phone gave me super user and cwm which was good. i tryed to load mods useing instructions with rom manager and with cwm and i was getting this error
---installing package...
finding update package...
opening update package...
verifying update package...
e:failed to verify whole-file signature (in red letters)
e:signature verification failed (in red letters)
installation aborted
so some guy told me to load theases files for my phone
in .pit put u1_02_20110310_emmc_EXT4.pit
in pda put CODE_I9100XXKI3_CL577579_REV02_user+low+ship.tar.md5
in modem put MODEM_I9100XXKI3_REV02_CL1062028.TAR.MD5
in csc put GT-I9100-CSC-MULIT-OXAKI3.TAR.MD5
so i put thoses file in to odin 1.85 and bam once they load it works great then i i load in to the odin pda file CF-ROOT-SGS2_XX_OXA_KI3-42-V4.2-CMW4.TAR once i load that file i have a rooted phone with cwm and super user installed
i was told once i do that i should be able to load any rom. i have tryed several. i download the rom and once its downloaded i make sure usb debugging it on and connect the usb to the computer. keis is not running. i copy the rom i downloaded to the internam sd card of the phone. shut the phone off. use the vol up menu and power off buttons to bring the phone to cwm main menu. i then wipe the cash wipe the data factory reset and even wipe the battery status and other cash. then i select the install from sd card locate the file and install. its goes through the process but never installs correctley. depending on the rom it just flashes the main samsung screen and yellow triangle or its freeses there or tells me i cant mount e: with a pile of error messages. then i have to put the ohone back into download mode and go into odin and reload the files i listed above and cf file after.
my phone is currently running
android 2.3.5
baseband vr i9100xxki3
kernel vr 2.6.35.7-i9100xxki3-cl577579 [email protected] #2
build number gingerbread.xxki3
can any one figer me out please im about to smash this phone lol all i want is a cool nice look custom rom thats it thats all some thing that looks flash fast and reliable i would appricate any help!!!!!!!!!
Did u follow this guide?: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1193695
Go to clockworkmod recovery toggle signature verification to disabled.
Then try flashing a rom.
Also try odin flashing a different kernel with root.
What rom ur trying to flash ?
rom
yes i tryed thoses files i load odin and put thoses files in there proper place and start when the phone boots i get a bunch of errors and stuff saying cant mount e
and as for the roms i have tryed several litein rom cm7 baltista and none will load i am so confused
ok so i downloaded the stock bell pda phone and csc file but y is there no pit file? is that why i cant get any thing to work cuz i dont have a pit file?
when i restore the phone to the xxki3 thats works for me i have a pda csc and modem file as well as a pit file is that what im missing here in this combo?
never use pit file dont know how your galaxy survived
well its the only that that makes it work again after i test some other file
i think i have figered out my issue the reason i cant flash back to stock bell firmware or any roms is because the xxki3 firmware i downloaded was a tar package which contained a bootloader file. apparent (correct me if im wrong) but that bootloader package had checksums in the firmware which only alows me to boot my phone with the xxki3 firmware. so does this mean i cant change and im stuck with this software? is it possible to get bells stock firmware but is it possible to get the stock bootloader file? or am i just plane screwed and should be luck that at least my phone still works?

S3 Signature Verification Failed

Hi,
I have previously tried to flash a wrong kernel into my phone and caused the imei to become null and my s3 to lose all signal.
In my desperation, i have tried all sorts of different roms in imei retrieval methods but I was not able to get anything back.
I managed to get my imei back after i got a technician to do that for me.
However, ever since, when i went to the setting > update, there was update found but when i tried to install, it brings me error msg
first i will be prompted on the CWM screen that the auto-update is not an Untrusted Package and the following
e:failed to verify whole- file signature
e: signature verification failed
when i choose to carry on installing untrusted package, i get this
assert failed: getprop('ro.product.device') == 'm0' || getprop('ro.product.device') == 'm0'
E:Error in /cache/fota/update.zip
(status 7)
When i reboot, i get the error msg 'Failed to update firmware. Try again using PC software (Kies) or visit a samsung service centre'
The current firmware version that is written on Kies is I9300ZSALF1/I9300OZSALF1/I9300XXLEF/I9300ZSALF1 (XXX)
I tried kies but kies says my device does not support software upgrading via kies.
I am not able to flash any rom into the phone, i tried stock roms and i tried custom roms like CM9 and 10.
I have tried using both ODIN and CWM to flash and always end up with having a phone that hanged during the bootloading phase. i restart and it stills brick, all i could do is to reboot in CWM and restore backup
I tried to disable signature check but it still does not work.
Please help me because i am currently on ICS I9300XXLEF and it is not my stock ROM and there is no way for me to update the phone rom. I would like to get my phone back to a stock ROM that is Singapore based at least i can continue to update my firmware if there are any updates.
I am giving all the information about my phone as much as I can but if there is anymore information you folks need to now to be able to help me, please let me.
All help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Phone stuck on error

I have a G925F.
I recently rooted it and wanted to try a custom ROM.
I rooted using the instructions in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...p-recovery-2-8-7-1-g925f-android-5-1-t3144866
I tried to instal this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...edge-g925fxxu1aocv-v1-0-deodex-aroma-t3102974
After the ROM installation the phone was stuck on boot loop and I thought flashing the stock firmware would be a good idea. I wipe the phone on TWRP and tried to flash the stock firmware on ODIN but the process stops at NAND Write Start then it fails. I thought I needed the PIT file so I scoured through the forum and found that I could just delete the hidden.img. I did that, used the toolkit and tried flashing but stops at cache.img and fails and when I tried again it fails at NAND Write yet again. I have yet to find a forum on this. Could I get some help with this? Or could anyone provide me with the PIT file?

[HELP] s7 edge soft-brick (I can't use odin, I'm just able to use stock recovery)

Hi!
I can't boot my device. When I try to turn it on always appears the following message: "custom binary blocked by frp". So I'm trying to flash a stock rom to recover my phone. But the problem is that I didn't install a custom recovery and Odin don't recognize my device plugged and in download mode. So I think that my last chance is to flash a stock rom from the stock recovery (the default recovery) but when I tried to do so I always found the same error: "E: footer is wrong E: signature verification failed". That error is caused because the rom I'm trying to installs maybe?
If anyone could help me I will preciate it so much,
Any help will be usefull,
Thanks
Sorry about that post
The problem is already solved (I flashed a stock rom using odin) I'm sorry about that post. I don't know how to erase it.

"Soft-Bricked" SM-G935F

So, I was using my SM-G935F for some time when it just got stuck at bootloop(it was rooted with twrp)
So, I tried to flash the same firmware again to get it out of the bootloop... But when I flashed on the Odin, the flash somehow got failed and I am right now stuck at "An error has occured while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software" I tried all of the old versions of smart switch to recover it but they always failed and I cannot get into either a bootloop or the recovery mode, just the download mode. (I was using Android 8.0 with TWRP and the firmware was Switzerland whic I downloaded from sammobile)
What I have already tried:
-Used all of the different Odin versions I had
-Tried flashing different android 8 firmwares
-Tried reflashing TWRP
-Tried to use heimdall but it doesnt recognize the device
-When I try to flash anything, it takes ages to go on and always fails.
AND I stıupidly tried to flash PIT files but none of them worked so it might even be Bricked rather then being Soft-Bricked...
Thanks for anyone caring to help me... (And since this had occured i searched all over the forums but cannot get to an end result so I hope that I am not making a mistake after reading the XDA rules )
