Yes galaxy S2 use broadcom BCM4330 , I do not know If it can inject packages.
The problem is , can put monitor mode.
with other mode:
I tried with ubuntu 10.10 in galaxy S2 with aircrack and macchanger installed but airmon-ng say monitor mode not supported
I had nokia n900 and I could wifi scan without problem and I had wep and wpa with faircrack app and it was good.
Now in galaxy S2 I only can see default wep passwords apps.

Hello out there,
when I'm on the way I use an USB-stick with my laptop running WinXP to go online. I use XP's internet connection sharing to connect my other mobile devices (ipod, iphone) to the internet. Unfortunately my (rooted) Galaxy SII with IceCreamSandwich can not handle ad-hoc points, and XP can not handle infrastructure mode. So far I díd not find a possibility to patch IceScreamSandwich (e.g. a working wpa_supplicant). My question is now: Which ROM can handle ad-hoc?
Thnx for help,
oliaros
hey guys
First of all I hope this is the right forum
I have 2 devices : a galaxy s3 with the revolt rom and a asus infinity with newest paranoid rom (todays update)
Both devices run android 4.2.1..
Everything works fine except the wifi/networ : for example i cant donwload anything which has more than a couple of mb because the newtwork is diconnected after sometime and connects some time later. It losts the connection for some seconds (30-120 sec.)
Is this a android software issue of version 4.2 or whta is wrong ?
pls. help
In need of some help and guidance here.
Was going to write a story but I'll just lay out the facts.
SGS2 - Neatrom Lite 4.3 LSD, BT 3.0+ HS
U8510 - Eclipse ROM, BT 2.1
Laptop1 - windows 7 x64, Intel Centrino 6235 BT 4.0+ HS adapter
Laptop2 - windows 7 x86, ASUS USB BT 2.1 adapter
The S2 is 3.0+ and works fine on laptop 2 (BT 2.1)
The S2 doesn't work with laptop 1 adapter, both which should be capable of BT 3.0+ HS.
The Huawei U8510 is only BT 2.1 and works fine on laptop1 (BT4.0) and laptop2 (BT2.1)
Seems the s2 works fine on BT 2.1 but won't work with anything above that - which is what it was made to do in the first place!
I have tried 3 different Samsung base 4.1.2 ROM's - all with the same result. Is there a known "good" ROM I should test with?
Are there any different/additional settings I should be changing/checking?
Help? Anyone?
Good day,
I own the Korean variant of the LG G3. I am running a stock based ROM which works really well (CloudyG3 2.2 Android 5.0). I was using the same ROM before wiping data and VPN apps (e.g. Hotspot Shield, Hideman, Hideninja) works well. After I wiped data, things seemed OK until I tried connecting to VPN. It won't connect at all. I tried various VPN apps and none worked.
Here's a video showing the issue:
VPN Problem - LG G3 F400K - Android 5.0: http://youtu.be/i14i2NZ06hw
I really need VPN because of Spotify, and I reside in a country where Spotify isn't available yet.
Have you tried OpenVPN?
Current phone:
Lenovo A316i (MT6572) (rooted) - CyannogenMod 11

I've tried lots of various VPN apps (including OpenVPN) and none of them can connect.
