Looks like you should be able to Google pics of Carbon Fiber and find something to use.

So I've noticed after I take a screen shot and I pull down my notification bar and hit share, the option to share it via mms is not there lol. Anyone else notice or have a solution to it? I know I can go into gallery or hit attachment in mms but it was so much more efficient being able to share it directly from the notification tray.

Aha! Is there a way to configure what icons are on the dock? Not just deleting what's there, but adding some as well?
I couldn't figure out how to add to it. Curious myself.

Go to the play store and look for a app called Samsung multi window manager
It needs root but it will let you add any app to the multi window bar

Thanks for this! I got the update through play store last evening. To be honest i'm not a huge fan of the new style, it seems very much like the iPhone version of google maps, which i'm not a fan of. I really dislike how the menu button doesn't do anything.
I went back to the old Google maps. Not a fan of the new one at all.

Love the new maps but I can't find the option in navigation to select alternate routes.

Blame Samsung for that one, Android phones shouldn't even have a menu button.
Is this not being updated automatically through the play store?
It is. Only if you didn't get it yet or what it early

Love the new look. Like how it gives alternate routes with time like Google Now
Like the new look, but HATE that they took some layer features out and also the traffic widgets! That sucks, so for now I'm not keeping the update. I had two traffic widgets. One for work and one for home. Really helpful for everyday I work. I know if I gotta bust A$$ and get moving or can take it easy and just go about my morning. Really hope they bring that back.

Giving it a go now. Didn't realize Gnow had a full page widget, but I still liked my lil traffic lights. One click and they showed green, yellow or red for traffic and the time it took. Pretttty easy to say the least. Giving it a try at least. Hope it works out. Thanks for the info!

Hey guys. Just thought I'd see what everyone uses their multi app Windows for. I think it's a great idea but I can never think of 2 apps I'd use at the same time.
I turned mine off because i dont like the tab thats on the side of the phone. Texting and browsing is one good use for it. Easy to copy and paste links between the two. Although its pretty easy to swap between the two using the home key too.
SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2
I usually use mines for copying information into a notepad / memo.
YouTube and a browser bc YT stops when its in the background and with a mod'd YouTube apk, I can listen with the screen turned off
I haven't used it once, the phone switches windows so fast

Student GMail -> calendar. I get notified of school meetings and stuff all the time. Multiwindow makes it very easy to copy over the information into my Google calendar.
But that's really my only use for it. It is nice for this purpose, but I could live without.
Copying links/addresses or other information to a text is a good use, as is from any app to a note taking app.

On TW if you hold the back softkey button while multi-window is enabled it hides the bar until you want it again. Simply hold the back button once more for it to show. =)

Custom ROM that enables multiwindow for all apps or root with multiwindow manager.

i usually use it when balancing accts. i like reconciling manually since i always seem to get double entries doing it "automatically". ff up top and anmoney at the bottom. works better with a tablet though.

I have to agree, aside from the cool factor of actually being able to do it, I have not found a practical use for it.
I use it when copy/pasting login credentials from LastPass.

Cool thanks guys
I have used it a couple of times to text while I watch a movie or video.
Before I had the phone, I thought I would use the multi-window a lot and was excited about it.
Tried using it a few times and it just wasn't clicking for me.
I think if I could incorporate my apps with it or if it were more intuitive, maybe I would use it. I don't know.
As of now I have it disabled.
I would like a better app switcher, though. Something like Zephyr for the jailbroken iphone.

I found this too. Added Google Now as I have on all my phones and the next thing I knew I had Google search on every screen and a permanent page for Google now!!
I searched everywhere - there is no uninstall button - I think Google are breaking their own Android rules!!
Novo Launcher was the only way to cover it up rather than remove it.

try using Action Launcher 3, is way better than the stock launcher and visually is the same as the new "pixel launcher". you can hide the google search bar, or use it as an icon only, for my is good enough.

Try Nova Launcher.
