Is there a way to get flash to working on this and what's the best text message syncing app? I tried mightysms but it won't login with gmail, loads and then goes back to the login page...
But I'd really love to get Hulu Plus, Netflix and Youtube to working on this lil champ of a device.
And one other thing, I turned wi-fi off to switch it back on and get a better connection and now it just switches straight back to off when I click it to on after a few seconds. How can I force wi-fi back on.
Before I start back over again from scratch, is there anyway to force enable wifi? C'mon guys, help!

Hey guys!
Does anyone know why the data lights on AT&T Galaxy S2 continue to blink periodically when I'm using nothing that should use data?...
Do you guys think it could be caused by Social Hub, and Email running (in which I force close and they keep coming back) (I'm so not trying to root just yet, wanna hold out at least a month, LOL) without me using them, or what?...
Thanks
If you don't want those background data transfer, you can turn it off:
Settings-.Acounts and sync->uncheck Background data and uncheck sync as well.
Thanks for the reply, but that was the FIRST thing I did, LOL
I have everything turned off, no automatic updates, nothing. But that dang send arrow keeps lighting, then the receive arrow follows!!!
I might just have to root before I want to, once I rooted my old cappy I was able to address all of these type of issues. Plus my battery life approved.
But there has to be some reason those lights keep lighting without 'A Good Ole Root' being the only way to solve the problem.

Background synchronization and such.
P.S. It happens basically every time I press the home key?!!?....
Extremely intermittent and hard to pin point problem I'm having with my I9100 and wifi...
I am using the Chameleon ROM 3.0.2 with Dorimanx 8.16, but this also occurred with Chameleon 3.0.1 and Jeboo 2.1.
This has only happened in the last few weeks, and there have been no changes to the phone or my home network to bring this on, and everything worked absolutely fine before. I decided to spend some time this afternoon trying to sort this out, and I've gotten no where.
On a fresh boot I can connect to wifi fine, and provided the phone stays awake, I can use the internet fine. But when I put my phone down and leave it to go into sleep, often when I wake the device back up, the wifi will be connected, but the signal icons will have turned grey, and nothing will work. Sometimes when this happens the phone will automatically drop and reconnect to the wifi, and others it will remain stuck and I have to reboot the phone. But sometimes this doesn't occur at all, and the phone wakes up and wifi works fine.
I have definitely checked the Advanced Wifi settings and the sleep policy is set to Never.
When this happens, the data connection doesn't take over, it's as if the wifi remains connected but somehow decides to refuse all connections. SMS and phone calls still work fine.
I have done several factory resets, and I am currently running the phone with nothing but the default apps in Chameleon 3.0.2.
I just signed into my Google account, opened Google Play to update things like Hangouts, Maps, Search etc, and I hit Update all, then locked my phone and put it down. When I picked it up again not 3 minutes later, all the updates had failed as the wifi had crashed(?).
I have tried another router, and it still happens. All other devices connected to either router have been fine the entire time (my laptop, desktop PC, Samsung Smart TV, Nook color with CM7 and an Amazon Kindle).
I have seen a couple of other threads about this, but none of them had any answers in, they were just left with people asking about it and not getting anything concrete. Is this going to be some kind of hardware problem and the only fix is a new device?
I'm at my wit's end here, it's driving me up the wall, I'd really appreciate any ideas.
EDIT: Being an eejit, I only just found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2161978 I can't seem to delete this post, so I'll just leave my apologies here, please can an admin/mod delete this thread? I'll post in the other thread I linked to above.
I have a Galaxy S2 (i997) and am running Beanstalk 4.4.205 dated 12/31/13. The build has worked GREAT for me. About a week ago I received a couple pop-ups telling me that a service had stopped but when I chose "OK" it worked fine.
Yesterday (2/16/14) my phone must have auto-updated something and now it's not working. I can power it off, boot into recovery, and boot normally. When I go to swipe the home screen I get three messages in this sequence:
Unfortunately, Exchange Services have stopped.
Unfortunately, Email has stopped.
Unfortunately, Google Partner Setup has stopped.
Unfortunately, Launcher3 has stopped.
After clicking OK on these all I get is the last one repeating against my lock screen background. I click OK and get it again...and it never stops.
I can access settings and turn on WiFi or the data network, and I can receive calls. I cannot access any applications at all.
I had NovaLauncer on the phone and it worked great. When I go into settings I can only see Launcher3 listed in the Home menu. I tried going to Play Store and selecting another launcher but it seems that my phone does not get notified that there is an update waiting.
Please Help!

Hey guys,
As of yesterday, my phone's email client will no longer work over LTE. It's very strange, I can not setup the Office365 account over LTE (I get an error telling me that the device "cant connect to the server", but as soon as I switch on my WiFi, the account sets up perfectly fine.
Continuing, if I turn off wifi after the account is set up, and try and refresh my email, I get an "Internal Error" that pops up with an option to report that seemingly does nothing. Turning wifi back on clears the issue and my phone's email works again.
I am currently using CloudMagic, which sets up and runs perfectly fine over LTE and wifi, so I don't think that the issue has anything to do with the server. I am absolutely baffled as to whats going on here and I would seriously appreciate any kind of help.
Thanks
I hate to bump this but does anyone have any ideas? I odin'd back to stock and the same thing is happening. I'm beginning to wonder if the school messed with our email over spring break.
Hi all
I tried going to a Lollipop ROM on my S2 but I only managed to change the recovery, the ROM didn't work (boot loop) so I used ODIN to revert back to the stock ROM (i9100XWLSW) wiped both the data and dalvik cache. I did also have Kingroot installed during all this and I installed it again after flashing the stock ROM but I've since removed that too with another write of the stock ROM via ODIN.
The problem I'm having now is Whatsapp and other apps won't actually do anything if the device is asleep. The WiFi appears to be connected, logo is present at the top if i wake the device but it takes about 10 - 30 seconds of being inside an app (such as Whatsapp) for anything to happen. I'm not sure if this is a WiFi issue or some sort of app issue across the board? I woke up today at 9am checked my phone there was nothing on it. It was only at 10:30am when I went to send a Whatsapp message to someone and opened the app manually that i had messages come in from 8am that morning. I also use Whatsapp Web and some times it won't connect to the phone via WiFi even if the device is awake. I have to reboot and try again. Although if it's connected via Whatsapp Web and asleep messages come in no problem at all both on the PC and the phone??!!!!
It's doing it constantly now, at the start it was touch and go but now it's all the time i have to constantly check the app for messages to come in. This happens on other apps too.
What's going on? Have i damaged my device some how from the flashing process? I'm pretty familiar with ODIN as I used to flash my old Galaxy Apollo all the time but never had this problem.
I was going to get a new phone but I actually really like my S2 and it actually keeps up with most of the phones in my price range and in some cases (camera, AMOLED screen, storage, sometimes RAM) it is better than the new stuff!
Any idea's please?
Never mind went and got myself a nice Note 3 instead...
Thanks guys.
