Hello. every thing is in the title :
my carrier does'nt respect custom roms : if i use a cm/aokp/non stock or non stock custom, it don't reconize my device and when i download a mms picture, it's a verry low resolution one.
on JB, i used a mod apk : thre was a setting : custom user agent... And with that, my sms where great...
But on kit kat, this is not working... I'd like to find a new apk mod for kit kat
Would someone be able to do that or to give me a link if it already exist

hii
after swtching between miui and stock roms
i found that every single rom have possitve side and nigative side
now im on stock and i'v search for apk that can make the stock look like miui somehow
so far i found some apps ,, contact and dialer pad even the lock screen and icons can be swtiched for miui style
the only thing that still need to be like miui is the phone call style itself
contact picture .. answer or reject style ,, etc etc etc
so i want to make them look like miui i know what apk can make this but i dont know whats other files realted for this thing ,, on framework and libs and others
so any one can help me to make this project done ??

all mod that i found want a deodexed rom and also i do not know "how deodex a stock rom"
is there any mod to enable call recording in stock rom?

I´ve never heard about a modification for S3 targeted specifically towards call recording.
If you want to do call recording i only know of one way to do this. Sadly though it isn´t free. Here goes:
On Google Play there is an app called "Call Recorder Galaxy S2 & S3". There´s a link for the trial version here.
Please note the reviews of the full paid app aren´t all positive so the trial version for initial testing could be a good idea, allthough for me the full app runs flawlessly.
In the latest iteration this app needs root so if you aren´t rooted and don´t want to root it will not work.
Fortunately root is easily obtained and i can only recommend it as there are so many other things possible with it.

Then why don't you find a ROM with call recording features? A lot of them have the feature so it's not hard to find
Install the Xposed framework and Tweakbox and you can enable it in there without having to replace any APKs or lose the odexing of your stock, original ROM.

That happens when the phone is starting up and your files are still scanning (if your uptime is quite high, OTOH, you should probably check to see if MediaScannerService isn't going crazy with your files). It's a Samsung bug/feature. Since Tweakbox enables the original audio recording function in SecPhone, you're gonna see it even if you modify SecPhone directly. In Xposed, someone can bypass the check by replacing the method checkMediaScannerRunning() with one that returns Boolean.FALSE, but I haven't really looked to see if it would break anything

Today I will present you : No SMS / MMS convert
This is my first mod for android and was formed more as a personal need and because of stupid default settings which is present on android OS .
Maybe others may experience this problem when compose a SMS larger than 480 characters (3 sms) the message will be automatically converted to MMS which is annoying especially if you have unlimited SMS or the MMS will charge your bill useless .
To avoid this SMS conversion you can use third-party software like GO SMS Pro , Handcent SMS , chomp SMS and maybe others , personally I prefer the standard application .
Following instructions from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1065452 I was able to recompile default SMS application and change the parameter which automatically convert SMS to MMS from 3 to 100 .
Installation steps :
(your phone must be rooted)
Download attached SecMms.zip
Extract SecMms.apk
Copy (overwrite) on your phone under /system/app/
Restart your phone
Enjoy ,
Let me know if you have any issues using this mod .
This was tested and works on ROM I8190XXAMA2 4.1.2

(coz when i was installing stock rom 4.2.1 on my friends canvas hd during installation where we should not touch the screen it got stuck and then it lost its touching capabalities and we went to service centre)

a example)

-Gaming rom etc - mostly with higher quadrant score
4 The official google map in play store has this option, u can download offline maps

I would say go for Lenevo Super Camera. You gonna really love it, you can turn on flash while shooting a video. And even it will give you much better quality than a stock camera. Or if you still wanna go for a custom ROM. Then you can check out Development section for custom ROMs. But before it, give a hit to Super Camera. And if you want more options in ROM, then go for new custom ROM, for battery backup and everything else. Thank you.
Bro, if you want to use offline maps, the best one to use is Sygic India Maps, which is freely available in Google Play store. Once you download the app, it asks for you to download the particular state map which you want. Once done, you can enjoy endless browsing through the map, OFFLINE!! Even supports 3D buildings and voice guidance using only GPS.

For a device like mine, with a MediaTek processor, stuff like CWM would not work. However someone found a work around, now I can install roms on my phone
I got a KitKat rom for my Alcatel one touch 4033a. It works quite well. However there are some bugs
1)Google Services will not install, meaning I can't link accounts on google applications
2)There is no vibration at all in the phone
3)I get no notifications from my facebook messenger app
4) Selecting a certain option on camera force closes it
5)Auto brightness doesn't work
Is there anyway that I can fix this myself? Or can anyone help me?
