These apps only works on Samsung device that used KitKat Touchwiz Rom. Install as a normal apk. If you loose the S5 app after a reboot you need to move it in system/app or priv-app

It's not any error but I'm getting this while installing prebuiltgmscore file. It says like, "This is a system app, are you sure to install and replace it with previous one." and so on. So, I aborted. I was not sure to proceed. It says it will replace all the data, etc. What actually will it do if I press ok and continue with it? My phone is not rooted yet, and not planning for few months. I'm already using the Kitkat Launcher Theme which give the kitkat Icons and I'm using it with Nova Prime.
I also installed Kitkat Launcher from Nick app from playstore but the App Drawer was very clumsy and did not feel clean, so uninstalled it.
Back to the point, what happens if I install prebuiltgmscore replacing previous and will it require Root?

It is the .apk file for the updated playstore...since you already have playstore installed, it asks if you want to replace it...there is no prob if you click ok...you just have an updated playstore on your device...

It works. I skipped both PrebuiltGmsCore.apk and Velvet.apk and installed google home directly. Everything seems to work good except the widgets and the voice command is not working from the homescreen. I have to tap the top right search button. Any idea about it?
Check the attachment for widget error.
The Voice Command 'Ok Google' is supposed to work only on the Nexus 5...and the widgets caused problems initially, but now they work properly...once you drag a widget to the home screen, and click on it they show some msg...ht ok..and it will work...

prebuiltgmscore.apk is actually the new google play service app. If you had updated to the newest version of google play, you can try and error to NOT install the prebuiltgmscore.apk. Report back here if you successful install. If not sucess, just install the new version of google play(prebuiltgmscore.apk).
and Nope, doesn't require ROOT access.

You can skip both the apk because of google just rolled up their new update for those app, Google Now n Google Play Service for everyone.
To have the voice command works, just change the languages to English (US), head to MENU >Settings > Voice > Language > English (US).
Try to say, "OK google". If doesn't work, head to MENU >Settings > Voice > Language > Offline speech recognition > and choose English (US) update.
As simple as that Sorry for the late reply though.

Can U Pls Upload Screen Shots Guys ?
Phone must be rooted and has root explorer installed.
This is manual install only cos we dont have available custom recovery build for my device model(SM-N750L)
Here is the guide how to install the files
1. Open root explorer and set system from read to write.
2. Extract the apk's and copy paste all to /system/priv-app/
3. Set right permission of each copied apk.
4. Delete or move the following stock apk to another location to have backup of them:
Under /system/app/
- Weather widget apk/odex
delete the daemon associated with weather widget i forgot the name..
Under /system/priv-app/
- Magazinehome.apk/.odex
SecLauncher3.apk/.odex
SecWallpaperChooser.apk/.apk
Wallpapercropper.odex only
5. After moving or deleting above files reboot the phone and that's it.
if error/foreclose occurs on deleted apk just clear dalvik-cache in custom recovery or if no available custom recovery for your device (like mine). Just install clearcache apk can be download at playstore.

Yes u can install it as normal apk
but this theme include Samsung Touchwiz Sounds(Unlock,lock,touch effect.keyboard)
which need to be replaced on System thats why i Made a flashable zip
if u don't want sounds u can simply download the zip and extract it their u will found my theme in Data/app/com.Pure.Touchwiz.Ashish-1.apk
just install it.........
but to get max out with this theme i recommend to flash the flashable zip.........
and u can get back ur stock sounds back by flashing stock sounds.zip

ohh then u should not flash it..........
the theme will not work in ur device cause it needs Cm11 theme engine or u can test the theme by using hk theme manger xposed module may be this work 4 u m not sure about it and dont flash the zip that will only replace ur systemSounds and nothing else.........download the normal apk..........

Create Folder called AirCommandService in the system\priv-app folder and copy the below file to the AirCommandService Folder created.

Set Permissions for the copied File (rw-r--r--) and Directory(rwxr-xr-x).
Restart. Wait for the Phone to boot completely.
In the settings of the phone select S PEN then select "NONE" for the"Detachment Option"
Remove the S-Pen from its holder to trigger the Note 5 Air-Command. In the AirCommand do not assign all the three user available shortcuts as at the moment we do not have option to change it if you want to later. Assign two shortcuts and you get the option to still change the shortcuts.
In case there is any issue, try installing the permissions file listed below

Install this Permission File if needed in the system\etc\permissions folder and set permissions for the file (rw-r--r--) .

Action Memo Fix
This is caused by a setting in the SNOTE. The below file has been fixed to overcome the issue. Pls backup your SNotes Data before using it.
Find and Delete the SNote APK file from system/app folder then reboot. (If you do not reboot, it may not work)
Post Reboot. Install the below fixed S Note file as a normal APK.

Based on feedback looks like it works on S6 based ROMs. People have confirmed that it is also working on Note 3 and other Note 4 Roms.

I tried to fix the Manifest file in the SNote of Note 4 by making the android:exported="true". And after copying the fixed SNote, the FC has stopped in Action Memo but the Action Memo does not get triggered.

I'm so freakin ADHD, everytime I go to see if this'll work on 5.1.1 P variant, something else comes up & distracts me. Are you on 5.1.1 or older?

The ROM I use is Dr Ketans which is on 5.0.2
This is a S6 based ROM.

I have a problem with icons ; these icons appear normally on default theme and some other themes ...
Firstly ; I changed the DPI for 480 using app from Play store ..
And The problem happens only when i assign 560 DPI to the touchwiz using app setting ; without assigning this setting - when touchwiz is 480 DPI as the whole phone - everything looks fine !
And solution plzz

if u r using DITTO N5 0.6 then u r in the same boat
i am also facing these issues on my note 4 on every theme
but i hopefully found a temp. solution for that
if u r using UNICON for changing icons
then re-apply ur icon pack or again stock icon pack
this will solve the problmes
