Hello guys .. i think i bricked my phone
i have samsung wave 1 (S8500) ,, i upgraded to Bada 2.0
few minutes a go ,, i tried flashing bootfiles and Fota to upgrade to Cm 10.2
i followed the instructions
sent zimage and rom zip to phone partition
then flashed the bootfiles and fota on download mode ... every thing went nice ,, all files completed but the phone screen was pink
i waited for 5 minutes ,, then i disconnected the phone
took out the battery off and on
on triple combo (power+vol down+lock) it goes back to pink screen
on dual combo ( call+power) it goes to blue screen
i tried connecting the phone to the pc in both ways with multiloader ,,,the pc does not recognize the phone
what can i do ?
sorry to bother you guys ,, i would appreciate your help
Go to download mode and flash bada again threw computer (with volume down comb)
Good luck
Sent from my Transformer Prime TF201 using xda premium
the pc recognized the phone ,, and i logged to Download mode ,,
what do you advice guys
what should i flash now
any bada 2 firmware, full flash.
Turko 10.1 firmware is good, you'll find it in the bada dev section.
Be sure to flash right files for your phone, not those for s8530
Thank You guys :good:
i flashed turko's rom and restored the phone

Go to Stock Recovery
Do Wipe data /cache
And then Flash a fresh Stock Rom via Odin
It will Boot if no then after flashing stock just do wipe data and then reboot
Thats it .

Since you can see the opening screen,I am sure it would go into download mode.
Press Volume up+Volume Down+Power to boot up the phone into Download mode.Connect the phone to your PC and see whether Odin recognizes it.Then, flash the stock Rom.

Did you flash a stock rom with odin v3.07?Your recovery might be damaged. First, install the stock rom with odin.Make sure it boots. Then go into recovery by pressing volume up+power+home and flash your desired rom.

No need for service center, just follow the steps for flashing a rom through Odin and you can recover your phone to a working state, but grab all the patience you can and follow the steps CAREFULLY, or you'll have a really hard time recovering your Ace-i

thnx alot for the help
Hello a couple of days back I had my phone charging over night as usual, however at the morning the phone showed the Samsung Galaxy S2 white text as if the phone was about to boot up but it never did. I have tried removing the battery etc with no luck and I cant get into recovery mode, the only thing I can do is to get into Download Mode.
I have never rooted the phone and it have worked flawless for 2 years.
So I tried to use Odin to flash it with a stock firmware, my phone it not tied to any operator, I have tried 2 different firmwares so far with different versions of Odin and different USB leads with the same result, a ERROR at cache.img, Complete(Write) operation failed.
I have no idea what to do and I´m starting to get worried, what is there left to do :/?
Help will be greatly appreciated!

try to boot into recovery mode . plug out the battery and press the combination for recovery mode and then whilst pressing the 3 buttons , ask someone to insert the battery . i hope you'll boot into recovery mode . if not , remove the battery , leave it out overnight and then the next morning , insert the battery and press volume up and power button . it might boot up . otherwise , download latest odin ( if not latest , v 3.07 ) a new galaxy s2 firmware ( say xwlsd ) and flash it via odin . it might just help you . hope i helped and make sure to try out all the methods i mentioned . all the best and hope i helped .

I have tried to do that with no luck, download mode seems to be the only way.
yes. flash your ( preferred ) stock rom from odin . here are a few links to help you
guide how to flash stock ( in case you did not understand me ) : http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/samsung-galaxys2-i9100-unroot-official-jellybean-firmware-460777
stock roms for i9100 ( jelly bean 4.1.2 ) http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9100
As I wrote Odin is the only way and it is not working, tried multiple different firmwares, PCs and usb leads and I can never get passed the cache.img part where it after some time always comes up with FAILED.
Hi guys , i have a 1 year old SGS3 i9300 and it was working perfectly then i root it and installed new custom roms, last rom i installed before this problem was Nameless ROM, after it i wanted to install a Touch Recovery v6.0.4.7 , and i installed it via this classic button recovery and it was working but when i gone to Advanced/Reboot Recovery it didn't want to boot i will explain to you how it looks when i try to turn it on: When i press power button there arrive as normal Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 , then it TRIES to go to recovery but it looks like this: Full black background and in the down left i can see Clockwork Recovery 6.0.4.7 it stands like this for 2-3 seconds and reboots and keeps doing that. I tried to install stock rom via odin, but when i plug in my phone, my PC can't see it, it say Unknown Device, i tried trobleshot and anything didnt work, but i can go to Download Mode... Please help i am searching for the solution for almost 2 weeks.

I had the same problem and it was a problem of the power button. One way to try if that is your problem is to take out the battery for a while, and the put it in. If the device turns on automatically it probably means that your power button is somewhat stuck.
In my case, the button wasn't stuck but it had the same behavior so i had to open the terminal and remove the power button. That fixed my problem but now i need a charger to turn it on.
same here D:
