[Q] [REQ] Tutorial / Template Files for Making Custom Themes

Hello, I'm a graphic designer with some interest in learning how to create custom themes for my HD2. Where should I start? Are there any useful tools any of you current skinners use that help speed up the process, ie. templates or psd files with guides in place?
I've seen janneman22's post about creating WinMo themes, but am now curious if there are any differences with the HD2 roms? What I'm really looking for is a screen cap of a device home screen where the editable image locations are outlined and image sizes are listed for to each item. Are there any other good starting points besides janneman22's tutorial?
Thank you in advance for the help!
Hi
Maybe this give you a little help!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=689230
EDIT:I forgott something! Download mod9 editor http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=464984! Create a folder on your desktop put your manila files you want to work with in this folder. Open mode9 editor root to the folder. Here it is possible to convert the _maila files to PNG files and back.
When you have convert them to PNG you can edit the Grafiks in Photoshop or something like this. Then convert them back to manila files, create a cab or copy them to the Windows folder on your HD2. Restart and now you should see your work!
Hi there
Danke!!! This will help A LOT!

[Q] Lenovo B8000 lost a file help wanted

Hi,
A while back, I rooted my Yoga 10 to mess with the bluetooth keyboard mapping. So I edited hid-keyboard.kcm.
Now, the Android 4.4.2 update won't complete because the file contents of this file don't match what the updater is expecting.
Could one of you kind souls post the contents of /system/usr/keychars/hid-keyboard.kcm from an un-messed-with tablet?
Alternatively, if you could tell me how to make the update process not care about the incorrect file, that would be cool too.
Thanks.

[SOLVED] Azpen A729 "build.prop" file

If you own an Azpen A729 with Bluetooth, please Contact me or post here, I can provide detailed instructions on how you can help me. Thanks.
I've made a super mistake and accidentally deleted the build.prop file on an Azpen A729.
I was about to make a backup copy of it, but I deleted it instead.
I have no idea what will happen if I restart the tablet, and even less idea on how to recreate it.
help..
OK, so I ran 'getprop' on Terminal Emulator and managed to get all the information needed. Is there a basic template for Android 4.4.2? I found a basic one from 2.3.4. But I think it's missing a lot. The original one was pretty long.
Help...
The tablet did a reboot and now it's stuck at the start up logo. I'll contact customer service, Thanks everyone. Thread can be closed now.
BACKUP YOUR BUILD.PROP FILE RIGHT NOW!! JUST DO IT.
A729BT Build.prop
Original build.prop file INTACT.
