Hi, I just wanted your help in flashing the Update v1.1 and the camera patch.....as when i am downloading it is showing as an .exe file. Do u suggest me to zip it and then put in the sd card and flash in the similar fashion as i did for the custom rom.
Else if I am just saving the .exe files as is, I am not able to find them when i go into the recovery code to flash the same.......please help!!! I am quite new to flashing custom roms in phone, so please be kind to explain the same in detail.

Wifi and hotspot issues: while using software data cable or shareIt the wifi crashes.
Apps like amazon and ASUS microfilm are not supported..

its one of the good rom for look but feel is not goood , its so much lagggy... sometimes apps takes long time to open..... so i dont suggest to use it unless some improvements r made... it takes heavy ram...........

From one moment to another my screen isnt showing any action .when i hit the power button the screen just gets brighter and thats it.
i already tried to boot into the recovery but same issue . any help?

Hi, Please let me know if there are any patches available for volume adjustments as I can see volumes are set to maximize when increase and silent if decrease . I am not able to adjust the volumes.

Use cwm recovery and clear devlik cache after rom installation. Let me know if still you're facing issues.

i'm unable to root my cnavas hd a116 into nexus 5. I have downloaded custom rom and completed all steps but when i start last step installing rom at that movement process aborted. Note: all steps are done without connecting my phone to pc

Please help, after installing the 5.1 lollipop on my android one spice Dream uno, I am unable to pull the notification shade.

Does root is the only option to get English version?
if open Skype/whatsapp it always opens coolui Chinese version

To obtain root follow these instructions http://androiduniverse.it/archives/248, then after root is obtained you search for the folder system/app and rename the apk apps you don't like i hate Zuimei weather useless to me i rename the apks as ap_ or apl just to don't load them, if i want it in original condition i restore the filename as apk;

you dont hv problem with alarm doesnt hv sound if the volume is on vibrate only? and heaps more problem like LINE app notification doesnt pop up anymore, yahoo mail erratically doesnt pop up new mail, call recorder doesnt record anymore etc etc?

I am a registered member of tomotlei.com. I found the rom- Galaxy Note8 SM-N9500 v5.0
But when you want to download anything from this site you need membership in https://pan.baidu.com/s/1jIP7pno. For this you need a china telephone number for the OTP to be sent . I am stuck there.
The Chinese web page cn be translated easily by Google translate, The rom I told is in Chinese Language. As I know from the discussion there is no multi language option in this rom. So my request is to anybody who has membership in this website, p;ease download it and p;ease translate it to English . It will be great help for those having Galaxy note 8 SM-N9500.

As spoken earlier, if you prefer English room of tomeitolei website then there is no chance to get it since all ROMs there are only in Chinese and even some rom doesn't contain gapps or Google play store. Best way is to stay unroot or else you root by changing TGY bl to CHC bl then root with SuperSU or maybe magisk if you can.

its free and dosent require an account.

hey, there. I'm from China, and im glad to help you with the download, i can download it and upload it on Mega if you want. One thing you should know that most ROM in Chinese cut down multi language even Google services to keep ROM thin. so, im afraid if you install a ROM without google service will take you inconvenient.

I have downloaded ,extracted the firmware.
There is one notepad in Chinese which I tried to translate,but failed- attachment
There are two CSC files
1- CSC_Tomato-N9500-RA2-v5.0-odin.tar.md5
2-CSC_WIPE_Tomato-N9500-RA2-v5.0-odin.tar.md5
Only one can be flashed in Odin, which one?
I went to tomotlei site with help of google translate, but failed to find tutorials
I think before flashing a factory reset may be required
I know I am asking too much help from u, but there are nobody else I can ask. If you can find a tutorial kindly post it so that all interested parties can be benefited.

If you want to wipe phone select wipe one not to wipe select another.By the way rom support some language not full multilangual.

flash it just like stock ROM, use BL AP CP CSC files, CSC_WIPE means if you use this file, it will erase all your data on your phone (recommend, avoid FC problem), another one is keeping your data (using when update 6.0 release).
CROM need to be unlocked, otherwise you cant flash it (Odin will show FAIL), you can find tutorials in xda forums to unlock the CROM.

thanks for your help.
I flashed the rom by odin, putting csc file - all wipe
all went smoothly, and rebooted, but the screen came with chinese writing with three options lower down, which i could not understand .
I pressed the top option, then started updating, finally the rom installed.
There is english language, but no google play or services.
Then i flashed the latest gapps for nougat 7.1.1, (aroma variant) . Installed corrctly, but fails to open the google play stone- crashed
then i wiped whole rom, restore the stock without the difficulty.
What i noticed is that , i could not find all the additional options they clamed in this rom under settings, it is the same as the stock rom, only there is change of battery icon and the clock is in the centre.
May be it is due to the option i selected.
Finally, what i think is that we need some help from persons who knows chinese and english to help us all to give a good tutorial to flash this rom.
It is very smooth and you can flash it easily and reverted back also easily. You will not loose your root or twrp
so somebody who knows english and chinese , please come forward and help us all.

I have to tell you that if you flash it, you will:
get a rooted phone
can only charge your phone to 80%
lose official customer support from Samsung immediatly
shows unofficial phone every time you boot it up
etc.
I dont really suggest you to do that, to be honest. But it is your choice.
