[Q] Snapchat and Cyanogenmod 11 - Samsung Galaxy Mega

Does anyone know of an issue with Snapchat and Cyanogenmod 11? I've recently flashed for the first time, I'm happily using cm11, but Snapchat hardly works at all. I've tried the alternative "Snapsave". But with both apps it might work once or twice, but then either doesn't receive snaps at all, or it does, but I can't access them. And sending fails. I've tried several times uninstalling and reinstalling, I even started a new Snapchat account. But whatever I do I'd say I have a 10% success rate at best. Are there any known cm v sc issues, or can anyone suggest anything? Thanks.

[Q] Facebook authentication failed

Hi, i have a problem with Facebook app. When i tired sign in i get information: "Facebook authentication failed". Sometimes i see some "Need Feed", and shows this error. Sometimes too i get [104/Incorrect signature] error. How can I fix it?
Thank you in advance.

Same problem with the same phone,i'm using cyanogenmod 7.1 though. Have you managed to solve the issue since then?
The problem solved itself after a few hours. I change FB app version, change ROM, but it did not help.
have the same issue on my sgs....any suggestions?
Also have this issue on SGS2, worked fine untill 2 days ago... now I constantly receive errors from the latter versions of the application. (Authentication failure, certificate missing, signature failure)
I've gone back to version 1.7.2 (Current is 1.8.1) by downloading it through Aptoide, although it rolls back on a few features... a few working features is better than lots of unworkable features!
Note: This seems to be account specific... I can login to other accounts using version 1.8.1, just not my own. (I have tried many other methods of getting the latest version to work with my account, even as far as slamming my phone through Odin a few times)
damn it my phone has been doing this all day ive tried everything.
I started having this problem since Monday. Apparently this bug for the Facebook app has been around for years but there has yet to be a fix. Seriously need a miracle right now. Anybody have any suggestions?
Reseting phone?
*288?
Has anybody heard of this?
I have also had this problem on my Inspire 4g running Blackout ICS Incredible v3.0.0. Has anyone found a solution yet, or is it a glitch embedded within the app itself?

Vine and Instagram Problems on Stock Roms

So, I've been jumping around different roms trying to find one that works with both Instagram and Vine but It's either or both of them don't work.
Instagram always stops half way during a upload on most roms or Vine says this Device doesn't support this feature when I try to record. Since I don't see any solutions or even attempts to get down to the problem, I guess I'll start here. I've noticed I'm not the only one with this problem. I have the Note 2 (T-Mobile) and I wiped the internal storage and cleared the system before I flashed roms.
I'm on AOKP right now. Where do I start to help get to down to this problem?

Does snapchat not work on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi (GT-P7510)?

Ya I know, this may seem like a stupid question, but believe me I have valid reasons for asking it. So I have a Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi (GT-P7510) that had been sitting around not being used for quite some time. I decided to recently take it out and root it to run the snapprefs xposed module alongside snapchat. Well, first things first, the tablet was running Android 3.0 Honeycomb which is way out of date. I upgraded to the last update available for this tablet which was Android 4.0.4 ICS. through standard system update. I then rooted using CWM recovery and flashing over superuser. All worked well and the tablet was rooted. I installed the latest version of snapchat from the play store and attempted to login with ABSOLUTELY 100% VALID credentials. It went through the processes "logging in, verifying device, etc." and then crashed to the home screen. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, signing up for new accounts, switching google accounts on the device, creating new google accounts, making sure google accounts were syncing correctly, making sure time and date was correct, downgrading snapchat to older versions, EVERYTHING. Absolutely nothing worked. The funny thing is that when initially opening snapchat, it would have the main screen where you see your camera open and have snap/stories notifications, etc. Then it would finish loading and go to the login/signup screen (since no account was logged in). That was when the problems would occur. I'm even able to sign up for new snapchat accounts which would go through just fine (I would receive the email notification from team snapchat), but when it was time to go to the main snapchat screen it would crash the same way as when logging in. At this point I was convinced that snapchat simply had issues running on 4.0.4 or something. I decided to flash a custom ROM to solve this. The first ROM I flashed was Nameless 4.4.4 .. Again, EXACT same issues. I was like wtf?? I then flashed Omni 4.4.4 and yep, same exact issue. I then tried CM 10.1 (4.2.2) and again, same issues. I went back to completely stock ICS 4.0.4 using Odin and ya, same issues as the first time. I really don't understand at this point. I thought it could be snapchat account issues so I tried logging in and logging out with all accounts that I attempted on the tablet using my Galaxy S6 Active which worked completely fine, so it's definitely something with the device. I'm someone that can typically figure out things for myself through researching, but at this point I'm really stuck, and I had to join this forum for assistance. If anyone would be able to help, I would GREATLY appreciate it. Does anyone have a Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi (GT-P7510) that they are currently running snapchat on? This is the original 10.1, and not the 2 or 3, and so on. Would anyone know what could possibly be going on? I wouldn't think that it would take much to run an app like snapchat, and I would think that the Tab 10.1's hardware would certainly be more than capable of doing so. The latest version of snapchat requires 4.0 and up, so I wouldn't think the android versions that I used would be an issue. Even the stock ICS 4.0.4 should be able to run it just fine. CM 10.1 was 4.2.2 and the other 2 ROMs that I tried were Omni 4.4.4 and Nameless 4.4.4.
I look forward to any help that can be provided. Thanks ahead of time everyone.
Got any solutions?

Messaging Problems

Hello there.
Sorry to bother you, but I'm having some really serious problems. I am using a Oneplus One, though I don't think the problem is device specific. Every time I open a conversation in the messaging app, it crashes. I thought no big deal, I'll just download another messaging app. I tried Chomp, Textra, and Google Messanger. All of them had similar problems; they would crash. It seems to be a problem with the app trying to call conversations from the phone. I also cannot receive any messages. I can, however send them via Google now. I am using sultanxda's MarshMallow ROM, which is amazing. This problem is not, however rom specific. The first CM13 nightlies recently came out so I decided to test it out. I dirty flashed it and encountered the same provlem. I then clean flashed it and it worked fine. So I decided to experiment. I restored my sultan backup and wiped the system partition, then dirty flashed the sultan rom again. The messaging app worked fine, but I had problems with Google Play services and android.phone crashing. Then restored sultan again and this time did a factory reset(TWRP style). Again, messaging worked fine. I believe the problem to be some kind of root enabled app, but I have not idea what it could be. Disabling root also doesn't help, so that might not be the problem after all. The only root apps I have are Xposed, lucky patcher, and Awesome Pop-Out Videos. Uninstalling these don't help either. I know this is a complicated question, but I really need help. If I don't get an answer soon, I'll just have to factory reset and start over. Please help me if you can!
So not mention lucky patcher. You will not find any help with it installed.
With out the proper troubleshooting on your part there is nothing that can be done. A logcat will tell you what is causing it.

Snapchat 3rd party application account lock

Hey there XDA community and Pocophone users and owners. I have recently encountered a problem with Snapchat on my phone which locks my account due to the reason of "3rd party applications". This has started occurring on the 17th February. Since then, it has been occurring everyday, causing it to increase in duration each time and this has been quite a frustrating experience. I am running MIUI Stable 10.2.2.0 Global with stock kernel. My phone is rooted with Magisk 18.1 and passes the safetynet test. I am also using the stock Snapchat Alpha app. I have never encountered this problem before, but now that the problems have arise, it has caused as such. I have tried using magisk hide to no avail as the symptoms continue to persist. My suspection is that it is either the MIUI camera port or the Google Camera by San1ty. I also set the lib for the Google Camera to Xlib V2 if that is relevant. My reason for suspection is because the problems I had encountered came soon after I had installed both these apps. After my Snapchat account was locked again, I have since removed both of these applications from my phone in order to see if they were the cause of the problem. I will be checking tonight if my account will still get locked after doing this. I just ask for you fellow Pocophone owners and Snapchat users, have you ever had this problem? And if so, how were you able to fix it?
This happened to me too right now it's the second lock (24 hours) so somebody would better search for a fix. I think something related to magisk triggers the snapchat. Also I am using a J5 2017 (prometheus lite rom ).
i think because root
