Hello. I have an Alcatel one touch c7. MTK 6582 chipset, 5 inch , 480 x 854 resolution, stock 4.4.2. I tried every tutorial for bilding an cmw recovery , even the online builder and the mtkdroidtools method, bun none worked for me. Can anyone give me a hand? Here is the original boot.img and recovery.img.

Stil no luck. I tried unpacking my stock recovery and use the kernel, recovery.fstab, etc for the cwm recovery, but no luck... Can anybody help? I realy need a custom recovery...

You can use my recovery. look after my posts and flash it with Mobile Uncle directly if you have root on it.it's version 5.5.0.4 and the backups generated are ok to restore.

Don't know since it's generated from MTK DRoid Tools 2.53. I think it's only for this model

Its great simple and easy I had twrp recover 2.4.1.0 and I use mobile uncle tools to flash the recovery its great.also if mobile uncle don't work you ROM tool box flash twice before rebooting into recovery
I also change the ROM of my Alcatel c7 7041x 1gb ROM it was so hard to find a ROM but just use any c7 ROM it will work:good:

Its a touchscreen cwm version called carliv touch.

Good to here you got cwm installed could you post your recovery.img file to help others with the coolpad 7320
Well I tried all last night and could not get this to work , I can't get mtp drivers to work and I've tried on 3 PCs 2 of them running win 7 and my PC running win 8 , if someone that as got this to work can upload there new recovery.IMG I can update to cwm using mobile uncle a lot easier can any one help

Try the latest chinese version of Vroot for PC.

I am sure thl has released all the stock roms somewhere.
I used flashify app to flash the recovery because other methods just ended up rebooting to stock 3e recovery.

I am having trouble dumping my stock boot.img. I have unrooted Huawei Y6 Pro TIT-U02 to which I want to flash a custom recovery in order to root it later. I have tried the Read Back method of SP Flash tools and no luck, I kept having this error message S_BROM_DOWNLOAD_DA_FAIL .
1- Is there any way to flash recovery or dump boot.img from my device?

Why you need a boot.img? Maybe ask at SP Flash's developer with log file why ins't working.
Yes, if the firmware of you device is the same build than you downloaded.

You need boot.img in order to make a custom recovery (CWM using MTK Droid Tools or TWRP using boot.img and recovery.img) you basically need the kernel for the operation.

Could you please share that with xda users ( I can' find any one who succeded to root this device on Y6 Pro thread )
The Root method on the thread is for other models and it was not possible to flash cwm.img posted there ( we all got a too large size error )

I spend days and nights trying to figure out a way to root it. I have even learned some Russian to communicate with some Friends who the same device (TIT-U02) and we had no luck either. However, there's this guy who claims he has a PreRooted room and wants to Sell it for 6$ here . Anyways, if you have any new concering our device please share.I will do the same Hafid

So i have this locally made phone from my country it is powered by mt6580 and android 6.0 now i want to root it but all rooting apps are unable to do the job i tried everything like kingo etc. Now i heard about systemless root but you need a custom recovery to be able to flash the zip... There is no custom recovery for my phone and i cant port or create a custom recovery because i cant pull or get the recovery. Img from my phone because its not rooted.... Uhmm is there any other things i can do to root my phone? Please help thankyou.

I don't think any other option available to flash SuperSU beta zip to patch your boot image and get systemless root.
Search for already patched boot image to your android.

Yours must be:
OS Android 7.0 (Nougat)
Chipset Mediatek MT8167D
You'll need one built for your phone model. Flashing another model's TWRP could brick yours.
Do you have the stock recovery.img for your phone model?
