Here is my review of the CLIP case. Just got it last night and so far I love it. Tablet fits very snug into the Clips, actually had a difficult time getting it into tabs. The stand function is great. I had been looking for the built in stand function ever since I got my tab. I got the white one since the black one was out of stock, but didn't really care about the color, although the white sort of looks like my uncles shoes down in Florida. No offense it2steve. The one tab does block the USB/sdcard slot, but I don't really use either very much so no biggie for me. The synthetic leather also had a very strong smell, but I imagine that will go away over time. Overall a very good product, will have to see how it stand up over time, and I will report back with any problems that do arise. Nice job it2steve.

Very. It pretty much filled up my office and bedroom. I'm happy to report that it's pretty much unnoticeable after 4 days unless you're, like, 3 inches away from it. So, uh, stay away if you're extremely far-sighted.
Hoping to grab a black one today...
but if someone is interested in swapping out for the white one, I would be interested in seeing it....of course if you live around DC it would be easier.
Do you have a link I can check out? I definitely need a case for my tablet. Also, did you get a plastic screen cover. If so, where did you get it?
So how long did it take you guys to get your stuff from Steve? I'm hoping to snag a Clip, but I will be on a trip from the 11th to the 15th, and I was hoping to get it for that.
CLIP just came in stock, I got a black one =D
My was delivered within 3 days of ordering. Excellent service from a delivery perspective.

Awesome, thanks.
Just placed my order for two clips, in black. Looking forward to having cases for my tab's so soon after they arrive (should get my 2 tabs tomorrow, and the cases next week!).
I really like the way it looks but i dont like that it is not leather and for $48 well? ???
Black CLIP on its way to my house as well...
I think I am all accessoried out. My wife is going to kill me when everything starts arriving. TAB coming today...then the screen protector...then the dock and charger from Steve...now the CLIP...and then the 16 GB MicroSD card.
Now if I can only get Vegan loaded without bricking the thing. :/
Grab the M1 then...cheaper price. Personally, I thought the CLIP looked easier to put on and off without covering the whole TAB. No one else I know has a TAB so I won't have any buyers remorse. I won't know what I am missing.

Yeah, I just put in an order for one myself. I'm looking forward to getting a little more protection and support for it.

I have the white one and, while I may not be a leather connoisseur (hmm, that doesn't sound right http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZr8bbKxYrE ), I do know cheap when I see it, and this definitely does not look or feel cheap. I think it's mostly due to the fact that it has that leather texture and it's not that shiny, puffy, padded type faux leather that you see on a lot of cases or folios.
IMHO, it's worth the money, especially seeing how many awful (and less useful) cases are out there for as much money.
Oh, and it only took 4 days to receive, I think, and Steve seems like a very good guy and responds to emails very quickly.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend one.

It's worth it. And if for whatever reason you decide after you receive it that you really don't like it (I can't believe you would since this case is awesome) you can always sell it on eBay.

It doesn't seem to be on their official website yet. Just another option in case you dont want to modify a Trident case for the extended battery.

someone HAD to say it. Alright here it goes. Lets make a bulky back even blukier lol the extended battery doubles the thickness so the otterbox has to at least triple it. i mean if you want to hold a two ton tank, go right ahead but i wont be getting this anytime soon...
EDIT: they arent making a different kind. the video shows them NOT useing the plastic back. just the silicon. they are MacGyver-ing a case for the extended back

Yup. I was going to say that too because it looks like all they did was not use the back peaice cuz ive seen pictures of someone that did the same thing and it looked exactly the same.
Thats just a regular OB defender just streched.
Exactly. Read my post or watch the video on the website lol

Tried it, had it on my phone for less than 5 minutes and couldn't stand it. I'm taking it back to Verizon tomorrow :/
so could i buy a regular otterbox defender for rezound and then just not use the back and put it on my extended battery rezound.
That really gonna protect your phone when u drop it on the back
its still probably better then a stock extended battery silicone case.
lololol i wonder if they're taking the backs out of the packaging and selling it for like 2 dollars cheaper hahah...extended battery version my ass.
Could you imagine how thick this bastard would be if they actually had a defender with the back for the extended? I'd have to get the oversized giant jackass pants like all the kids are wearing these days. It definitely wouldn't fit in my skinny jean pockets!!
i might buy the defender on amazon for 27 bucks and just take the back off. i love the way the buttons feel.
IT actually protects well best option for protection with the extended battery. I actuall took the back dremeled out the area for the extended back and it works great. U be dropped my phone on concrete and asphalt and no damage.
i wanted to see what it was like in person before deciding to buy one but no one seems to have it in stock(verizon store, best buy, etc).
so no one ever answered my question from earlier
is this just a normal rezound otterbox defender with no hard back?

i just ordered a otterbox defender from amazon for 30 bucks shipped. i might try to dremel out the back, or just not use the back
man that case makes the phone look soo thick.
i got my defender in today for my rezound. it is so much better then the Verizon extended battery. the buttons are so much easier to hit the buttons and it feels alot better in my hands. i got it for 18 bucks used on amazon.
Well I thought the Rezound was all ready fat with the extended battery. That case adds another 6 inches to it. You probably can't even fit it into your pocket with that case on.
I pre-ordered the Gumdrop case months ago. During the wait for it, I began to really enjoy using my keyboard dock and now, I am not so sure I want the Gumdrop case. I can still return for a full refund. I was wondering if anyone out there uses this case and also has the keyboard dock. Is it a pain to switch back and forth?
I thought about keeping it for when I know I wont be using the dock much and for times where chances of dropping it would be greater.
Thanks!

I don't have the Gumdrop case, but I thought about getting it.
After my son purchased the OtterBox for his iPad, I finally dropped the idea.
I realize the Otterbox isn't the exact same as the Gumdrop, but I think they're similar.
The Otterbox, while providing excellent protection, is a PAIN to remove! It would make each use a the dock a minor decision, deciding if I wanted to bother taking the case off and then dealing with putting it back on! Again, I don't OWN the Gumdrop, and maybe it's unfair to use the Otterbox as a reference, but from what I've read, they (Otterbox and Gumdrop) share in two characteristics... they're both somewhat difficult to put on/take off, and they're both heavy.
Which is the 2nd negative, in my mind, to the Gumdrop/Otterbox... the weight!
If I worked in very dirty/risk prone areas, maybe I'd give it another thought.

I have a carrying case that fits my Prime when docked to keyboard too. It provides good protection for transportation...when I use it, I try to not use in a way where I could drop it. So the Gumdrop really isn't needed. Plus, the Prime looks so good without a case...
Is it just me, or is it weird that this phone is truly a flagship (carried on multiple carriers, amazing specs) and the manufacturers like Seidio, Mugen Power, and the like haven't released ANY accessories? I mean, this is even basically the flagship phone from Google directly...
We've now unlocked the bootloader, which means that ROMs will quickly be available, but this phone is just too thin and slick to NOT have a case of any kind.
The first thing to keep in mind is that although the specs are virtually identical to the N4, the phones external design is completely different. So, one wouldnt fit the other and as such, that point is moot.
Now, i havent done alot of searching, but im also fairly sure that the N4 doesnt have an over abundance of accessories available as of yet, and again, im fairly sure that its probably sold more units than the OG. I checked sites like Seidio.com and they have nothing available for it that i was able to find. The thing is, even phones that dont sell like crazy have alot of accessory options, but they dont usually appear until about a month after the phone is released. It gives accessory manufacturers time to design and make them.
I purchased a One X on launch day about 6 months ago, and i was able to find a case...at AT&T, and a screen protector. However, when i looked on line, i couldnt find many options for it the first few weeks, and now, they are every where. So, i would say be patient, give it time, and you will find that accessories will start appearing from every where. I know Otterbox has a commuter in the works and im guessing many others will too. I for one am hoping Seidio does because i have always loved their cases.

Thanks for the input. I'm hoping what you say is true, and you apparently have the research to back it up. I also wasn't aware that the N4 and LGOG share a different external design... That's good to know.

Yes, the N4 is more curvy, even the screen has curved edges. The LGOG is very....square or rather, rectangle and boxy.

I would have gone with an N4 if it had LTE & a microSD slot.
dont the sprint version and att version have slightly different dimensions anyway? When i went and picked mine up the other day the only OG case they had at best buy didnt fit my phone at all. I wonder if it was specific to the sprint version and didnt say so on the packaging
The build quality on this phone isn't cheap like Samsung. I will never hide this phone using a case

In theory I completely agree with you... In practice however, this phone is just too slippery. I've already almost dropped it more times than I can count. It needs protection.

This is a fantastic idea. I've been trying to find a thin case because of the back this entire time and never thought about putting a screen protector on there. Have you done this yet? I'm wondering which one I could get that could fit the size of this phone.

I made one by cutting down a generic tablet screen protector, then cut out for speaker and camera.

Best Buy has the Invisible Shield HD from Zagg, and it fits the AT&T variant perfectly. My understanding is that the Zagg site doesn't even list the HD, which is better quality/clarity than the standard protector the site does list.
Well, we may be waiting a bit for cases. I got this from Seidio after asking about cases and such:
"Dear Robert,
Thank you for contacting Seidioonline.com. We appreciate your interest in our products. We have not finalized plans to make any products for the LG Optimus G. Your request has been forwarded to product development. I got my first phone since 2009. I used this one day i need more power but i need a case like the stock body glove im using on the stock. That lemon makes it too big. I see no other options for a nice case i work at gas station i need all the protection i can get. A case with the snap on screen protecters needed with back protection and sides
Just buy extra slim batteries. You won't find cases for the covers that come with extended batteries. You could check out the single one available for the Hyperion extended battery, though. Personally, I don't like it and wouldn't want it on my phone.

If lemon is my only option il have to go that route i walk every where extra batterys is not a option i carry my ipod touch as i use it to save from using the phone on our blue tooth radio. I wanted to avoid the bulk. Even if say these 3850s i see fit with my body glove i can live with that. Just need a hour or so extra
You can always swap batteries when you get to where you're going. If I'm swapping a battery, it's when I'm sitting comfortably at my desk at work.
