So after installing ANDROID 4.4.2 on my CANVAS HD.. I installed some applications from Xposed Installer and now I cannot activate them. The only applications activated are Gravity Box, etc which came pre-installed in the ROM. Please tell me what to do.

Android 4.4.2 ??? On which ROM are you ?? Android 4.4.2 ROMs will be coming in Q2 2014.... Currently only one 4.4.2 ROM is available i.e. CM 11 and the screenshot is not of CM 11 !! Please check properly and then ask your problem....

Dude cyanogen is best ..for rooted device . we can over clock a116 and is best stable os if cyanogen ROM is developed for this device. No cyanogen ROM yet 4 a116. I have used many custom ROM .but I have heared tat cyanogen is best 1.

well the reason behind micromax devices not having CM roms is, the kernel sources for the MEDEIA TEK MTK processors which are used in our phone isnt available since neither micromax nor MTK is ready to make it public. With out these sources, you cant have overclocking and other CM features ..!!
SO wait for it..!!
Sony have relased some sources, there are devs already on this.
Pray to god that it comes soon..!!

If sources of CM is coming, thats great and welcome. But I think CM team still does not support Dual Sim. The source cannot help for dual sim phones based on MTK65XX. This is not unnecessarily being a begative remark but this is discussed many a times in at least dozens of times and places.
Still, may be someone proves me wrong, by making directly the first CM with dual sim for A116, I will appreciate him/her. Best of Luck :good: to all devs.
PS: If non-mtk chipset roms like Samsung can be ported for many Micromax models, then technically any rom can be ported. But still, the cm source will give single sim rom.
Some discussions read before in xda, but its almost a year before discussion. May be something new has come.
Even if You Get Source it Will be Very hard to Compile Bugless CM......
Faea Team Is Currently Working on it once they done then it can be ported to any mt6589 phone

You can try using TWRP instead... Normal CWM gives errors on Kitkat ROMs !!

Bricked after flashing Doge.
So I followed the instructions to the mark and installed the Doge rom using TWRP 2.7.0.0 on my A116i
But for some reason an hour passed and it's still stuck on the cyanogenmod bootlogo animation.
Then I tried flashing it again after doing a full data wipe. No use.
Finally, I tried restoring my old rooted stock rom, but it booted into the same cm animation and is stuck there!
What are my options?
Should I download the stock rom and flash it using SP tools?

In Simple way- NO
In complex way- We cannot port any kitkat Rom except CM11(wiko) without Pure Kitkat Kernel compiled from latest Kitkat sources(which haven't released by any OEM's right now.So NO.

Thanks.... Where I am coming from is getting the engineering mode and ygps working. I tried mtk apps from this rom in cm but no luck. Why is engineering mode not working in cm, any clue.

It's coz engineering mode is a part of 4.2 rom Nd as we don't hav full sources it doesn't work on 4.4 rom

So my Ques is Whats the Difference between kitkat theme and original kitkat verison . as every feature in this rom is just like kitkat stock rom of galaxy series

To check this go to Settings-Developer Option-Select runtime and see there will be two options - Use ART/Use Dalvik. Use ART option available only with Kitkat and if you want to know more about Kitkat ART option, please google on it.

It is not completely bugless. But it's smooth and fast. I face one issue and that is with camera app which takes unclear pictures in low-light conditions.

yupps there r two rom which r 4.4.2 bt both having bug discovery vo.5 and recently 0.6 relesed themed android l and another rom is famous 1 cynogenmod bt having bugs if u don't wann as much as clear image in camera in low light than u can use discovry rom that is gd1..

yupps there r two rom which r 4.4.2 bt both having bug discovery vo.5 and recently 0.6 relesed themed android l and another rom is famous 1 cynogenmod bt having bugs if u don't wann as much as clear image in camera in low light than u can use discovry rom that is gd1..
