Just strait vzw .... You won't have data , calls , mms etc wifi will probably still work but the other you will have to fix build prop, apns , remove some apps and add some from a stock sprint one .... it's called porting a rom and it isn't easy ...

thank you very much for your response. I just wanted to see if i can use this phone with verizon, as i already have a verizon account. sigh.. got a good phone and then got screwed over by somebody. and now i have an expensive paper weight. FML!

There is no "legal " way to use it with vzw but you could sell it on Craigslist ebay etc and get your money back

Not sure if a radio is included in a system dump I think its just the system but the leaked dump is true ics I wonder if there is anything useful in there to us?

I hope that I can flash a real T-Mobile ICS rom onto my AT&T note when it finally comes out - I'd like some of the T-Mobile software that's not available in the market. WiFi Calling has me particularly interested, and I'd like the ability to tether using the built in procedures (It says Invalid SIM or no data when I try now, even though I have a tethering plan from T-Mobile)
I can't wait for its release, my last phone was a TMO SGSII and it was under warranty, so once the Note comes out for TMO if I ever lose my AT&T note my insurance has to replace it for the TMO note I called to make sure, I guess Asurion covers the person not the phone. But on the other hand, my phone data is provisioned for the SGSII, thats why the only modem that really works for me is the SGSII modem. I am hoping that when the GNote comes out for TMO that we can flash there rom and modem to get better speeds. Otherwise I would be tempted to [qoute] lose [un-qoute] my phone just to move to the TMO one.
Dont the SGS-II and Note have virtually identical modem hardware?

That's the impression I have gotten so far, but I think the base bands are different so I am not sure if the modems will work. Its kinda out of my scope of knowledge but I got my fingers crossed.

We're confused because it doesn't seem to be a "T-Mobile note system dump," but rather a "T-Mobile GSII system dump."
im just confused because this comes from May, if It had anything good someone would have already picked it off.

Swype beta ftw! I'm going to try to keep everything in stock as possible for a while when I get the phone, but I'm sure I'll end up back on Swype beta, and Nova or Holo launcher. The only thing really wanting me to try and keep the stock keyboard is the one handed feature...but I have a flygrip so I don't think one handed use will be an issue at all.

I'm thinking about doing the same thing. Do you have any other regrets about the switch?
My upgrade happens on the 26th and I'm counting down the hours before I can dump this craptacular device.
I'm rooted, natch, and running twisted's ICS.
What should I stick on it when I sell? Should I unroot it?
And where have you guys had the best luck selling?
The slacka$$ in me wants to just stick something stable like Thundershed on it and call it a day.

In general, I would put the newest official GB release on and leave it rooted.
Swappa is the one place i hear good things about as for selling a phone.
Honestly I would just leave it as is and sell it on swappa. I've seen a lot of phones sold on there with cm roms installed.

Thanks. Just bought a Note 2. Good luck with your builds for this phone from hell. NuSense has a ton of potential. Cosmetically it's one of the best looking ROMs I've seen.
You and disconnecktie have been a big help the last few months to me and the few dozen of us still using this damn thing.

Can any note 3 ROM be flashed on a Sprint note 3? Like if I went to the general, non carrier specific forums and found a ROM there, could I flash it to my Sprint note 3 and it work? I ask because I've seen some ROMs over there that I'd like to try, but I don't want to screw up the phone.

They will flash and won't brick your phone unless they have a modem in the rom. .. But you won't get data mms sms phone until you fix the rom

So if I have a modem then I can flash it right after flashing the ROM and I should be ok, at least that's what it sounds like to me. And would that be the fix to not getting data, sms, or mms?

No that won't fix it ... There is a ril and many apps to replace .... not easy to port a rom ....so no they are not usable for you. .. Unless you know what you're doing and by asking my guess is u don't

Someone send me a message text when my gadget is switched off. I swith it on and I receive the text.
The time of it is not when it was sent but when i switched on the phone. With the old phones it did't happen.
How is it possible that?

Silly question. Is your device rooted? If so there is a module with Xposed you have the ability to run. Although I haven't tried it with the phone off but it's a worth a shot. Yea the old phones did have this option which was nice to have
