Here U Go:
1.Switch Off Ur Phone
2. Press Vol Up+Vol Down+Power OFF to get into Recovery Mode
3.Take a Nandroid Backup (incase any thing goes wrong)
4.Wipe System/Factory Reset
5.Go To Advance Then Wipe Dalvik Cache
6.Then Clear Cache
7.Flash this rom( Install zip frm SD Card)
Done......
Noteut the ROM in ur Root Directory of SD Card

Yes, You don't need to.... The ROM will be installed with stock kernel !!! But if you want custom kernel you can try flashing Kash Kernel !!

Nothing else.....A non-technical word for flashing is INSTALLING......so dont get panicked by terms like this

Jst follow d steps I mentioned abv.........As u cn see there is Wipe System/Factory Reset......that will clear or delete ur Current Rom.......nd then u cn install d new ROM.........

First need to unlock the phone Bootloader/Root. for that need S1Tool. Then need Flashtool to flash the kernels, and copy the roms to SD card. But it writes down everything in the posts what do you need to do.

First you have to unlock bootloader, then flash kernel that suit for your custom rom with the help of Flashtool... & then u have to find one custom rom available on this forum for your phone.... before all better u have to backup your datas & official rom...

In short, install zip from sdcard in cwm and select the zip of the rom you downloaded in your case liquidsmooth.
Oh and, please, search before posting, not trying to be rude but this has been answered zillion times.

And in case you want to go back, first, now, before doing anything, backup efs, use k-Tool from play store, and then put your backup on a safe location (cloud).
Sorry for being so dumb lol , just don't wana brick the phone that's all :3 .
And do you suggest me any other rom better than this one ?

we are following wrong procedure.
We need to use cwm recovery to flash ROM
My ROM details before flashing:-
I'm on stock ROM with thunderzap kernel and cwm custom recovery flashed.
updated
we need to follow following procedure:-
1) boot on cwm recovery.
2)factory wipe/reset.
3)then goto mount and storage option.
4)then mount everything except system and ext sdcard format the only system. (Updated step reported by @furiouskid )
5)Then flash miuiv6 ROM by suhas.Reboot
6)then option came rom will flash stock recovery when boot select No.
It will boot surely
If ROM boots then flash gapps I used Paco version

This method is not working.....I m not able to install rom wen system is UNMOUNTED.....m getting status 7 error
and wen i try mounting....i was able to flash...but RANDOM REBOOTS AGAIN.....so request someone to try...if not working please remove this thread

This may sound weird...but PLEASE TRY PUTTING SIM CARD...the ROM may not work......as m back to my previous ROM i cant check

am not sure what's the logic behind this. I did a system wipe on twrp itself and tried flashing but there was no difference. So it looks like not a partition or recovery issue as long as flashing is successful.

There is No issue after putting Sim card if you thinking modem is the problem you are wrong brother.
Use only cwm recovery.

Can you pls try and create a flashable nandroid backup zip for system and boot partition? if that's feasible.
Tried your method step by step more than 4 times still no luck...phone is rebooting after 9-10sec like before.

Can u check once again about the mount / unmount which u mentioned on OP is correct o not .
Tried with the recovery which u gave,,,,,no solution
this is a modded android.policy.jar and framework-res.apk.it is based on my lolipop framework mod(so it also includes lolipop framework).it is tested 100%working in deodexed xxana2.

you should be deodexed and running firmware higher than xxana2..please read the instruction before flashing anything..

Yes, I always swipe everything except deleting Internal SD Card unless nothing else works.

Flash Nut's dual recovery
Now flash the above zip

for now i think its not possible.as u have to patch the kernel..but give it a try flashing as secondary

I was on Candy Rom , used Jackies kernel to flash the rom . It flashed ok but didnt go past the black screen
for me bootloop
Since it works on unlocked bootloader, I unlocked mine using flashtool.
Did everything as per instruction, but mine went int a bootloop
it seems this ROM is not working. everytime bootloop issues.......useless crap! lol

i ve tried exactly as per ur instructions.. i was on stock .108..rooted it ..installed nuts recovery
then in twrp..wiped cache ..data.. system..dalvik..n installed ur Zip. but after the completion it says No os found..r u sure.. if i say yes n reboot.. i get sony logo an blank then..i ve tried 3times..with out success..i had to use flash tool to get my xperia to work again..any how i got the stock lollipop ftf..but could not root it. any suggestions on how to root 14.5.a.0.242 ftf

Dont wry my friend.tonight im going to upload tested rom..U can flash it without any problem and enjoy the stock rom with full root privileges
