Yesterday I got some 543 mb update on my G2,after downloading & installing it says update cant be installed coz my phone is rooted. Any idea how to unroot it?
Also if I am correct it's kit kat update...

Hello guys, ive got an LG G2 (d805) 4 months ago from a brazillian website, everything was perfect, without useless apps and logo from any operatings. Yesterday i had to reset my device, and now on the apps field, have many many useless apps from VIVO and when i start the gadget, appears that logo too. First question, why that appears now and not before when i bought?
Second question, I dont know what ROM is installed, since i use JellyBean 4.2.2, can i Flash ANY Kitkat Rom? Or should i install an especifcly one? Please, someone help me, i'm new on this...

Yes, you can use any of the roms for the d802 version as long as you do not try and install the stock firmware for it via LG Updater or a KDZ/tot file flasher.

hi to all, i am using lg optimus g e975 Korean in Pakistan. android 4.1.2 installed on it. now i want to upgrade it to higher version. I tried LG Support Tools, it find an upgrade foe my cell phone but after downloading a large file when it start upgrading process and my phone goes into downloading mod it gave error that please remove your battery and then insert it again and then try again... i tried many time but same error.. i actually want to upgrade my android software to kitkat 4.4 is it possible? if possible then what is the best and safe way to upgrade my lg optimus g e975... thanks ..
There's no official Kit Kat for your phone. You would have to use a custom rom like CyanogenMod or something along those lines. The LG Support Tools sucks. You should try using this:

I gave you the link to the latest KDZ (official firmware) for the Indian version in your other thread. I'm also not sure if many custom roms support the language you are looking for either. Basically you would want to root (Safe Root or Framaroot should work) then use FreeGee to unlock bootloader and install custom recovery. Then boot to recovery, backup rom, and wipe, and install new one.
These days a new update to kitkat (4.4.2) is been released(L9 II), I updated it and idk new features but it's towel-root-proof ! :crying:

It was OTA, Ive seen the notification and I used the phone support tool to update, via pc. It's possible that its not everywhere yet...
Waiting the new root, we could look at the bright side, what's new in this version ?
I just got an update for lg f60 but i don't know what is better than the last version. After the update phone rebooted and gave me a notification with the update features and it was saying "apps". So I am asking what is that referring to because it seems like this update does not bring anything new to the software.
Just got this phone and need help rooting. Can't find it listed under LG phones on the site. Also I'm running Android 5.1.1 and got it in Mexico.
