So here is the problem, the phone was working perfectly, like idiot i froze an app that looks it was needed for the system to start, and then when i rebooted the system, it didnt boot. Got stuck between M logo and the Nextel carrier animation. Then reboot loop.
So i decided to wipe cache and data but didnt work. Next move was to flash the stock rom, but it start a new reboot loop at the welcome screen, less than 10 seconds and reboots. So i decied to try my last resource, an non supported rom for my XT626, ICS 4.0.4. It worked, but simetimes reboots.
I dont know what else to do, is there any other rom, i looked for the xt627, but no luck. Or way to stop the rebootings? For any of the roms.
Thanks

Ok so i'm trying to figure out whats wrong.
I got my G- Tablet, got clockwork running with no issues, installed Cyanogen 7 build 38 (which was available at the time) and installed gapps.
Everything was running perfect.
Today I got an SD card in the mail for it and I popped it in, booted up, and now its stuck in the Cyanogen boot animation screen. I've rebooted several times, removed the sd all together (at the time it had nothing on it), loaded the latest build along with cyanogen 6 beta 4 etc and i'm always stuck at the boot animation.
I've done factory resets, and wiped cache, and even tried to wipe the Dalvik cache.
I'm at a total loss, does anyone know what I can do?
You know what I have found. with the CM7 boot. When I first installed it with no apps it would take 3 to 4 arrow passes around the android to get to the home screen about 4 seconds. But after I installed all my apps the time went up a lot. After about 30 passes I stopped counting and it takes several minutes to boot up.
worst comes to worst you can always use nvflash to go back to stock and start over again
Well....i thought that maybe that was the issue....that ill just let it loop its way to death and see what happens when i walk away for 5 minutes but I found the tablet turned itself off :-/
Hows this nvthing work?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=861950
that has a very good step by step guide on what needs to be done. Just an FYI that will put you on stock rom and I think the OTA update is down right now, so you might not be able to update to 3588 till OTA comes back up.
wow excellent, thank you so much for the info.
I will give this a try, and report back my findings
ok, so I tried this nvflash thing and it ran successfully. I let it reboot....and now instead of the cyanogen flash animation i get the g tablet animation loop.
For some reason this thing is getting stuck at the boot animations...is there something I can do within clockwork to format something...???
Wiping Cache and Data usually clears up looping at the animation for me. If that doesn't help then repartition.
SOLVED. Ok so I did some reading on the topic, it turns out that the tablet needs to have the sd card partitioned a certain way in order to get everything running again. The link at the bottom has all the information if your g tablet doesn't get past the splash screen and your stuck in a boot loop.

OK. I have had my Atrix 4G since it first came out. I rooted it and installed apps and made customizations to it, etc.
I never installed a custom ROM since the tweaks I made fit my taste enough to not need to install a custom ROM. I have thought of it...but that is for another time.
Anyways, I recently changed fonts on using FontChanger and everything was working fine. However, last night I decided to change to another font and after rebooting my phone, I am now stuck in the ever so pleasant "Boot Loop".
I have tried wiping and restoring back to factory defaults, which appeared to work, but once I start going thru the process of setting up the phone and getting to the "home" page, the phone will suddenly automatically reboot and start to loop again. I can perform a reset which allows me to go thru the setup process again, but it suddenly reboots again after a few minutes.
I am guessing that perhaps the font is still causing problems, but I am not sure how to check to see if that is the case or not.
I have looked at other boot loop threads but I keep getting a bit confused as to what I should attempt or not attempt to do. It seemed to me that loading the 1.2.6 SBF might be my answer, but I have read that I could brick my phone doing that. Not to mention that some of the download links are dead....
Sorry for being yet another numbnutz and the long thread, but I would greatly appreciate some guidance on how to recover!
Thanks!
Ok... So after resetting my phone a few times I noticed that it goes into the boot loop cycle once the screen shuts off/or goes into sleep mode. If I keep the system from going to sleep everything appears to work fine.
My guess is still a font issue, but I thought a factory reset would've replaced the font back to default.
Anyone experience this issue or something similar to it?
And as a second thought can someone link me to the default fonts that I can try to reload?
UPDATE: well it looks like i am good to go again. It just occured to me that I can just download and use FontChanger to replace the bad font with the stock font. i let me phone go to standby mode and it didnt boot loop.

Hi guys...thanks for taking a minute to help me out.
I have been using the Cyanogenmod Nightlies for a few months, and have recently been experiencing a few random quirks since upgrading to the new version of Android. I decided that I'd do a full wipe and then install the new nightly. Everything worked fine, the phone booted, I could use apps, etc. Then, I decided to restore some of my apps and data from Titanium Backup.
It took about 40 minutes, and then finally got stuck on 98% which was "android data" or "system data" or something like that...i checked back a few minutes later and the phone was completely dead/frozen. I eventually pulled the battery and rebooted the phone, and now it's just stuck in a bootloop.
When I try to boot into recovery, it freezes on the "Samsung Galaxy S3" screen for a while, and then turns off. However, i CAN boot into download mode.
Can someone please point me in the right direction here? I know that android 4.2.2 reworks some of the system folders, making reverting back to a previous version difficult..? I don't know what to do. Really, I just need to be able to get into recovery, but I'm too ignorant to figure it out.
Thanks so much for taking the time to help me, it's very much appreciated!

Just flash a stock rom using odin while u are in download mode

why repeat the same thing the previous post said? for thanks?
I have an old S2 running wananm's JB ROM which until recently, could not boot up all of a sudden. It just gets stuck at the Samsung Galaxy SII logo with the yellow triangle on it. I did a factory reset and it worked after that, until a month later where I am having the exact same problem. This time I fulll wiped it and flashed NeatROM Lite 4.4 on it, but now the phone stucks in boot loop at the samsung boot up animation. Pulling out the battery and putting it back results in the previous issue where it gets stuck at the Galaxy SII black screen with yellow triangle. I boot into recovery and did one more factory wipe, but this time it goes back to being stuck with a boot loop.
Any ideas whats wrong? The phone is pretty old, could it be dying? Before all this happened I did not do any modifications to the phone like flashing new mods, scripts, OC, UV..etc
Flash a official stock firmware from sammobile.
After this root and flash Rom again.
PS: Check ur downloads and if u have the correct Rom for ur phone version (i9100/i9100p/etc)

I already flashed the stock ROM via odin. It is now unrooted. Been using it for a week and the issue just happened again. I now realised that it only happens when I attempt to replace the battery. I have two packs, both are official, one that came with the phone and another which I ordered online. After shutting the phone down, remove the old battery, put in the new one, attempt to boot up, it just gets stuck at the Samsung screen. The only solution is to do a full wipe. Could it be some sort of corruption?
Sure it can.
So if it only happens with it, it maybe corrupt in itself or maybe it's not directly for ur phone/android version etc....
So just don't use it, but that for u have a full working phone

Yeah it might not be android related, but it still is strange.. And I don't believe it'stthe battery screwing it up either. I'll try rooting it and see if it manages to boot up. If not I'll go back to an ICS ROM and see how it goes. Because I only notice all this happening ever since flashing JB. I hope it lasts til July so I can trade it in for the S4.
hello everyone, my stock s6 edge on rogers is stuck in a boot loop all of a sudden, fully stock and unmodded, running 5.0.2. i was just walking and listening to music through bluetooth headphones and all of a sudden it stopped, and i looked at my phone and it was rebooting. so i just waited and its still stuck in a boot loop after an hour. it gets to the lock screen sometimes, and then after like a second or 2 just reboots again. i have not tinkered or have done anything to my phone either, and had no issues with random reboots ever, so i have no idea what could have happened
some extra info, when it reboots it doesnt always go to the galaxy s6 edge screen, it sometimes just shows the samsung logo with the animation. i have also tried to wipe cache and that didnt work either. after a few reboots however the stock theme was applied at some point. also i tried booting into safe mode and that also didnt work.
i really dont want to wipe my phone, but i will if it is absolutely necessary. so if anyone has any other suggestions that i can try out it will be very much appreciated!
thanks!

I have had said problem before under the same circumstances (although it was with a different phone)
Try using Odin to install the stock Firmware.
A thread explaining how is right here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6-edge/general/sm-g925f-s6-firmware-thread-t3078841
If you don't want the firmware listed in that thread, download from Sammobile.
While some users say it does not wipe the phone, it wipes every time I use it
If this does not work, you should get a warranty replacement.
