I'm sure Sony will release these Media Apps updates after all of the Xperia Z series got the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update,maybe they will also roll out for their phones running 4.3...
The Media Apps shown in video were totally different that we got,even on latest Xperia Z2 firmware & Z1/Z Ultra/Z1 Compact 4.4.2 update
So maybe the phone is running on custom firmware...

recently, I have upgraded my Xperia Arc S to the official sony android 4.0 rom for 2011 xperias, which is quite nice.
But today (21st June, 2012), Sony released a new android update for the Sony Xperia S, which is different from the android 4 for my arc. Here is the video about it: youtube.com/watch?v=i189IkIvJc0&feature=player_embedded
I noticed that among everything else, Xperia S got 3 new awesome apps: "Walkman", "Album" & "Movies." The "Messaging" app also got updated with useful new features [shown in video at 2:45]. Would anybody be willing to make these 4 apps available on other Xperia phones as well?

Few days ago I updated my xperia z ultra via Sony Update Service to version 523 and after update I don't have any stock Sony demo images and videos.
Please if you have this image and videos upload it some where that i can download it..I tried searching with google for this contents but no success.

After the latest android update on Sony Xperia Z Ultra (from India), the MOVIES app has become very slow
I had the same list of videos, when it was on 4.2.2. The app was always snappy and have noticed no lag.
The issues were noticeable, post 4.3 update on Sony Xperia Z Ultra
Tried everything like 'Clear Cache', 'Clear app data' etc
Works just fine here. No lag or slowdowns. Not sure what the issue might be.

Well okay, I'm on the same R4B-Customization update and I have no lags or slowdowns whatsoever. But I've noticed that the app crashes whenever I try to change the screen orientation while a video is being played.

When I start the app I come to the intro video and then force close all the time. It seems to be a z ultra issue. On z1,z2,z3 it workes.
Can someone of you have a look what is wrong here?

If you found it what version phone do you have and what part lf the world do you live. Im guessing bravia core is only for EURO market on xperia 1 iv

Yes, I know. I live in the EU and the phone is eu market also btw. It worked again on my Xperia 1 III after the latest update(had a voucher code), but now it expired. And we can't buy subscription so far. Have to wait until its official launch..
is it just me or is bravia core for xperia kind of a joke? im pretty sure that im on the newest version on my 1 iv (stock w/o root or anythingi. bravia core starts playing only if play is clicked while in landscape mode, once a movie is playing, i can indeed change the language, but that change has no effect. and even if it did, i think its just weird some movies arent available in english (morbius)? its understandable that the app does not do some of the fancy things one would expect from a modern streaming service (like downloads and stuff), since it is (correct me if im wrong?) only made for one device, but i would expect just basic features like playing movies and changing the audio to work.
