I was just curious as to what storage size One M8 you guys got. I ordered mine online from AT&T and noticed it didn't really say what storage size it was, so I assumed it was the 16gb. To my surprise, when I got it today, it is the 32gb. Is that the standard on AT&T?

same here, ordered 2 days ago and will deliver tomorrow.. and i was struggling with the size as well, and didn't realized what i ordered... talked with at&t representitive and she told me they ONLY provide 32gb by at&t premium customers

If i'm correct the US variants are only 32GB with expandable storage up to 128GB.. the European markets will get a 16GB option along with a 32GB option
I assumed that for my 199$ I would be getting the 16gb model as well from AT&T, but I did indeed receive a 32gb model!!

Upgrades
The phone has only just gone on sale at p4u last Friday, for new contracts only. Upgrades are soon they say as I'm waiting for it. O2 had exclusive when it was released. A mate just got it on O2 upgrade.
I'm on Orange and if the store mgr of the p4u shop I went to had not checked I would have it now, checking again this Saturday.
Afaik Orange are not offering it direct yet.
FYI the 32Gig is the HTC one x and the 64Gig is the HTC one x+. I was tempted with the one xl for 4G ready but only 16Gig mem and the s4 CPU are the turning point for me.
With 4G not really going to be prominent in the UK for at least 12 months, I thought it best to get the x+.
The lack of sd port is not very nice and was tempted with the S3 LTE and note 2 but just love the sense UI. So I guess I will stick with it

The phone on orange will either be the One X they are referring to or most orange/t-mobile stores are selling the 32GB HTC One XL as an upgrade to the HTC One X so you they might have meant that.
I thought that HOX+ was only 64gb but they do make a 32gb version too!
I'm really not sure whether to hold out and see what comes in a few weeks/month or just get the 32gb.
I currently have a 16gb SD Card in my DHD so I'll be doubling up.

the 64 gig IS onsale at P4U on NEW contracts only atm. Im gonna see if i can get it tomorrow on upgrade as they said it would be a week to two weeks tops for it to be available there

just spoke to P4U on there call centre, they CAN do upgrades online straight away but they dont know about the shops, looks like its time to go and see them, and EE shops will do there std phones plus the 4g stuff, orange wont offer the Hox+ yet because they just got a job load of Hox in

Ah, I got it shipped to the store, but yeah.
I work in a retail mall and have let's just say very close friends that work in the At&t store and I got shut down today as well. Although my store also told me they only got enough in to cover their displays. They may have sold one to me if they had extras. I pre-ordered one also about 1 week or so ago. Can't wait to get it. The demo was awesome, I'm going to love it I think.
Stores shouldn't be selling them yet. Op must have caught someone slipping. I'm an rsm in the greater Orlando area and we aren't allowed to sell till the 19th

Hopefully in August when I'm upgrade eligible again I can get the 64 GB One at costco or best buy without mail ordering it. I plan on selling my 32 Gb one to cover the cost + put some cash in my pocket.

Damn i need to get busy
I've got a 64GB One. I preordered it and it works perfectly, and it shows no signs of breaking (knock on wood).
I have a 64gb ATT silver one. Too bad I'm not an ATT subscriber. Oh, it's s-off too.
Had my 64gb One since the day it came out on April 19th. It doesn't have a gap but it does have overhangs which are annoying but I didn't want to have to wait for a new one. Doesn't bother me much at all. Too bad they don't have any in store because in that case I'd be the one person making sure I get the one with no gaps, overhangs, or dead pixels.

Quick. 2 weeks ago I paid for overnight shipping on atts website when I bought the 64gig. Ordered it on Friday night and it was at my door Monday afternoon. The overnight shipping is 15 bucks. Figured I'd just pay 15 bucks since I'm spending 300 already. Worth it

Send them a support message. Mine said the same for 4 weeks so I did. I got a response 4 hours later telling me they had received my device in the condition I stated and that my card would arrive to me within 3 weeks. They said they are having trouble updating the status page for some orders.

There was. You had to pre-sign up. It's now closed. HTC was offering a $100 Visa card (or more if your phone was worth more) if you bought a One and sent them (most) any old smartphone and proof of purchase.

Got mine in the mail today! My online status says the same, waiting for phone. I sent my phone in a couple days after the phone was released. I don't remember the date

Update: Just received the phone, some things of note. The ATT version does not come with a headset (kinda sad about that). Charger, micro usb, phone and sim tool are included. Along with quickstart and warranty. Back of the phone has a sticker with IMEI and Serial # info. Phone is covered with plastic, so be sure to peel off the back the screen, the top, bottom, and side bezels, as well as the volume up & down, and lastly the power button.

chat reps don't know what they are saying. I would never trust them.... every time I have tried I get 5 different answers from 5 different reps... The details tab says up to 32 GB which leads me to believe it is 32 (24 available)

AT&T Version:
Non removable battery 3000mah
32gb built-in memory, No sd-card slot
capable of 4g LTE speeds.
International Version:
Removable 2400mah battery
sd-card slot available
Has 3g capabilities but incapable of 4g LTE
If I were to pick i would pick AT&T only, i don't want to loose the LTE speeds. There are instances where i would get 50Mbps down and 20 Mbps up with AT&T versions. This is impossible with international versions in united states.
