Hey XDA,
I've got a new app, and I would love some help in testing it and finding any bugs!
Crescendo Launcher is a homescreen replacement that makes it easier for seniors (or kids!) to use an Android phone or tablet.
Features:
NetManage: Crescendo can automatically toggle mobile data or WiFi if an app requires it. (Data is turned off after the screen is turned off)
Simple Apps: Crescendo comes with several simplified apps, including an easy-to-use web browser and flashlight.
Simple Settings: One click access to Ringer, WiFi and Mobile Data settings
Help Central: A comprehensive help center that teaches users how to use their device. It's fully illustrated!
App Drawer: An accessible app drawer with big icons.
You can grab it in the Play Store. (I've also attached an APK for your convenience.)
Please let me know what you think!

Guys, there is one very good application released on PocketGear. I have it on my s740 and apart from being perfect new Start Menu with some very very useful features it can route audio to an earpiece when Skype is active. Also it has Task and Process Manager and it is fully animated.
I wrote an article about it at wmpoweruser.com/?p=13748 (still can't post links, sorry for that) with screenshots and with more details. There are some bad comments about design of application, but it looks like people don't realize that this is for Smartphone/Standard device only, with QVGA resolutions most of the time.
Maybe it's just me, but I think that this looks really good for a Smartphone application.
Hy!
Thanks for sharing....looks not bad....a little "Iphone"-Like.....but i like the app "htc3dmenu" from here:

I tried many apps to customize the Start-Menu and i think thats the best....its fully animated to....you had to do a little work at the shortcuts but when its done its the best menu ever......
But i will also link yours....

I didn't try that one. Didn't even know it exists
What I like about Ultimate Start is T9 search of applications. Just like in Contacts. Very fast way to get to any application, bookmark or java application.
Many developers are dropping prices (WP7 is getting closer). This application is now only 1$, 80% off!
thanks for posting the link to "htc3dmenu" that looks realy cool!
i use it with the WM 6.5 sliding media panel that gives it a far more newer look than the default one.
thanks!
Cool. But the download link to the Android Market doesn't work with a build.prop string:
Code:
ro.build.fingerprint=dell/streak/8x50:2.2.2/FRG83G/eng

Fantastic! Much easier then f-ing around with masquerading as the Nexus One by editing a fingerprint.
Thanks!
works on my SimpleStreak!..great..Nick and Jitin!

I really like the concept of this app. They need to have more built in scenes, but a few are pretty good. The notifications support IM, GMail, Twitter, and Facebook.
You can add your own scenes for notification, be it an image or movie file. And of course customize it with your own notify tones.
However, because of the battery effect it was having on my phone and the lack of support for more notification types (eMail, Google Voice, GTalk), I have uninstalled already
Iris For Android. Siri is not released for android yet. This regocnition feature, Siri, is a favorite features of iPhone 4S. Now, a few developers from Dexetra.com start to develop an app like Siri for android phone. These people build an app only 8 hours. This app called Iris. Iris works simple by asking and then Iris for android will search the answer in the internet and respon accordingly. Lead developer of this project is Narayan Babu, he created Iris for android as Siri altenative.

If anyone is interested, I also had good results with Voice Actions. You can ask her plenty of stuff like:
- My name is Josh. // What is my name?
- What time is it?
- How's the weather?
- Set an alarm for 9:30pm.
- How many ounces are there in one kilogram?
- Open camera.
- What sound does a dog make?
- Let's play a game.
- Play music by Radiohead.
- How do I say Hello in french?
- Read me a poem.
Wow... Amazing... It would be very nice mate...
Can't wait for it...

+1 for that...
Some apps with tablet mode would be very useful. I know SGS2 has some tablet UI apps (like phonebook), which is great.
since no one care about this crazy request for a month..
so I'd decided to give it a try:-
1- all res/value and res/xml combined
2- and get this error on apktool (attached image)
*error came on compile progress *
apktool b XXXX

Have the same problem with some apps. Just can't get over it.

Hello everyone, recently I bought my first smartwatch, lg g watch, and the first that I wanted to make is share a screenshot with the watchfaces, android wear OS and how it works, but, although the oficial app of android wear has the capability to do screenshots, I was not able to share it through whatsapp, twiter... So I begin to develop my own app for my watch, and here is.
The app is so easy to use.
STEPS
1 - Go to android wear app, and click on take a screenshot.
2 - Then click on notification and select wear screenshot, the app.
3 - The app will appear and the image will be stored on the phone, then you can see the image, share it where you want and delete it.

If you have any idea of how to improve the app please leave me a comment.
Thanks!
EDIT: The app is now totally free, you can download it here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.alicantedevelopers.wearscreenshot
Now the app is totally free, the link is on the OP.
Thanks
Works??

It's great! Thanks a lot!
Doesn't work on my phone (Samsung S3, CyanogenMod CM 12.1, Android 5.1.1). When I take the wear screenshot and click the notification, your app doesn't appear in the list. About 20 other apps appear, but not yours. Any suggestions?
