[Q] MTK6582 Repartition flashable zip Zopo Zp700 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello!
I recently purchased the Zopo Zp700 and when it arrives I would like to change the internal memory size. Up until now I've used the meteos app for my Thl w200 but, as I've read, I can't use it with this CPU.
I read on here that I need to change the EBR file using hex-editor and then I need to flash it via SpFlashtool but the problem is I can never get it to work.. I tried using Spflashtool before and I never was able to.
So my request would be if there would be another way for me to change the internal memory size?
As far as I know I could use a flashable zip from another Zopo Zp700 that already has this repartition done so if there's anyone here who could provide it I would be very grateful!
Any suggestions are welcomed!
Thanks!

[Q] No OS installed on my Tab. Need Help PLS.

I tried to install a custom rom yesterday. Unluckily I treid to do it quickly before leaving the house. I rooted my tab, then copied the custom rom file and the Gapps file to my internal storage card and also installed a newer CWM version. At some point I must have formated my entire Date because there are no files left on my internal storage card. The tab goes up to the Samsung Logo and that's it. I'm guessing that there is no OS installed on the device. (Galaxy Tab 10.1n 3G - GT-P7501)
Now to my questions:
How can I copy the ROM File to the internal storage card using odin or any other programm? I can go into the download mode and I can start CWM.
Do I have to install anything else or should the Rom be enough?
I read somewhere, that I should copy the PIT File to my tab but I can't find the file anywhere!
After spending the last 4 hours looking for answers and a solution I hope that someone here can help.

You can't use odin to copy a file to your device and the mount sd-card option in CWM has never worked for me.
What you need to do is flash a stock odin file with its pit file and then you can reroot and reflash CWM.
Put the rom and gapps on your tab,
and hopefully then you can flash the rom everything will work correctly.
Here is a link to the odin tar file I use: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3mpm0lez9ikbzvf/Stock-3.2-HTJ85B.UEKMM.tar
You can find a tutorial for flashing this on XDA somewhere.
Thank you so much!!
It didn't work at first but after taking the tab out of the docking station and changing the usb port it finally flashed everything without hanging at the bin file. i will try to install a custom rom now.
thanks again!

No problem! I'm just glad it all worked out for you!
I am facing same problem but with TWRP recovery mode. I wiped out sdcard and all data. I am using P7500 tab. Can you help me through the process. All I can do it right now is go it recovery mode, nothing else.
well, just do what highriser posted, download odin, download a tar file that represents a Gtab ROM and flash it to your tab using download mode. As I am at work I can not provide you with links to the files (as online storage is blocked by our IT Security).
Check this thread and pay attention to the "UNROOTING & RESTORING STOCK RECOVERY" part.

Thanks. I managed to make it work. I was having problem finding PIT file.

When you install 1.8 you will notice there is only a tap error from uploader..it is a 1.6 emui. That's all.
Hello
some info to add
incase of softbrick the phone and unable to flash using spflash tool and receive " not allowed , forbidden "
solution
inside the usb upgrade >> flash "Rework-Secro" using scatter in same folder then you will be able to use download mode again
how to install this firmware i.e. B124 on G700-10

But my mobile does not boot into CWM recovery mode as i have seen in my previous Qmobile A8 it always restarts in the defualt recovery mode which only give options to "1. reboot, 2. update from SDcard, 3. update from cashe, 4. wipe/delete user data and wipe/delete cache and in the last there is a calibarate TP, AND OFF COURSE THESE ALL ARE THE ANDROID BUILTIN RECOVERY STEPS NOT OF THE CWM
And off course there is not any file or folder named update.app in the downloaded .zip/extracted file. "as i have mentioned above the folder contains a folder named META-INF and three img files named as boot cust and system while a .bin file named logo too.
THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AND HELP.

So after I select the Reworked scatter file there is only the sec_ro partition checked to flash. So after flashing it do I now select the previous scatter file and then flash everything (including preloader)?

[Q] [Xolo QC800]Problem after modifying vold.fstab

Hi, I have a xolo qc800 .(Qualcomm 8225q quad core) tablet
Recently I was trying too root my tab using all rooting methods.
And after I gained root ...now I cannot access my sdcard ....so I found a guide to modify the vold.fstab
And in the process of modifying I mistakenly modified it wrong.
And now I cannot access even my internal storage and sdcard
Let me remind that I have root access now
But I don't have access to any apps or any file managers.
So I cant restore the file back to original
I also tried using the adb shell to remount as writable but it says "operation not permitted"
I need help to any guides for restoring vold.fstab back to original.
Please guide me.....
Thanks in advance

[Q] create flashable zip from rom dump?

DEVICE: LG REVOLUTION (VS910V6)
MY RECOVERY PARTITION IS GONE, BUT I DID FIND A ROM DUMP OF THE SHIPPING ROM FOR MY DEVICE. ITS A ZIP FILE. IS THERE SOME WAY THAT I CAN SOMEHOW CREATE A FLASHABLE ZIP FROM THE DUMP FILE TO BE ABLE TO FIX MY PHONE? MY PHONE IS PRETTY OLD. I HAVE TRACKED DOWN A HANDFUL OF DIFFERENT FILES FOR MY PHONE AND I WOULD HAVE FLASHED ANY OF THE OTHER POSSIBILITIES OF COMPATIBLE ROMS, FACTORY FIRMWARE, ETC. THE PROBLEM WITH THAT IS FOR EVERY FILE I FOUND THE DOWNLOAD LINK FOR, IT'S OUTDATED AND DOENS'T WORK ANYMORE. SO I'M HOPING THERE MIGHT BE A POSSIBILITY GOING THIS ROUTE.....? ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD SURELY BE APPRECIATED!! :fingers-crossed:

(URGENT) How to flash RAR files with CWM?

Hi. I am a newbie in flashing phones. I am having a Lenovo A850. I was planning to flash it to Android Marshmallow (CynogenMod) . It was really hard to find the ROM. Somehow I managed to find one here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/le...rom-unofficial-cyanogenmod-13-lenovo-t3724018 . Once I downloaded it, I noticed that it is in RAR format. I tried entering CWM in my phone, and the RAR file doesn't show up. CWM probably does not support flashing RAR files.
What should I do now?

What you do for a quick fix is to open the .rar file on your computer using a software like winrar, or 7zip. Then compress it using the software as a .Zip file then you can flash it easy as that.
Doing this is changing the file format all correctly with correct conversions so it should be alright. But be aware that this is a quick fix which I use and have success with. Not sure if it would work for you But it should, if it doesn't don't hit me ~ QAQ
Note that this is possible as well on phones using file manager with inbuilt rar,win support
